I Am A Begginer Of Conver Hypnosys Learner Who Want To Do My First Perform In Public

Can you hypnotize someone who is unwilling?

THIS IS THE ONGOING ENDLESS DEBATE. Some will tell you that you can and others will tell you that you can’t.Here is my take; as someone who has hypnotized literally thousands of people in 38 Countries. You can hypnotize anybody if they want to be hypnotized and cannot hypnotize someone against their will. You cannot force someone to relax and listen to you. You cannot force or make them follow suggestions you give them. For example, if I ask you to close your eyes and you don’t then I haven’t gained that small commitment. Some of hypnosis requires compliance and getting the subject to follow simple instructions is key. If you do not want to accept decisions or block the words being used by the hypnotist, then you won’t be hypnotized.HOWEVER, there is an argument for people being conditioned and manipulated by words or images and that is a totally different issue altogether. If I tell you Im the greatest long enough over a consistent period of time, eventually you may succumb and actually start to believe it yourself; that isn’t hypnosis thoughHere is an example video of someone attempting to be hypnotized against his willCatch what the guy says right at the beginning of the clip

Can I learn hypnosis on my own?

A lot of people are afraid of hypnosis. It’s such a “scary thing” and it’s “dangerous” to learn, or to have done with you. And it’s much to difficult to learn by yourself!Wrong on all counts. Many of the people who will answer your question are going to try and sell you their “BRAND X” Hypnosis, or have you come to their seminar for a mere $5000.00. These people are sometimes professionals, and their offers may be genuine. You may even get a great head start by taking lessons from one (or more) of them, if you have the cash…You can’t go wrong with a few friends of mine. Check out Igor Ledochowski for conversational hypnosis, Sean Michael Andrews for street hypnosis, and Don Spencer for stage hypnosis. While I don’t do training at the moment, I’m considering it. I think my mental model is quite robust and useful for many things hypnosis.Personally, I do both hypnotherapy and stage hypnosis, as well as corporate work. But be extremely careful about others you may find! There are many scams out there on the Internet, and almost zero regulation anywhere on anything having to do with hypnosis. It’s a ripe field for fraud. Keeping that in mind, learning by yourself sounds good.Learning on your own also means you can also dip your toes, in, try the water, and see if you want to go swimming in the hypnosis pond before you leap off the cliff by spending a fortune.Get some books, DVDs, or CDs, whatever works best for you. Hell, there are tons of them out there available free over the internet. Try the processes described on strangers, not your friends and family! You will find it always works much easier with strangers, contrary to what you would expect. That’s what I did, and I’m now a professional, earning my living with this stuff. You can do it too, with effort and perseverance.Oh, and once you’ve got some practice, take a peek at my own book, (Plug warning! Plug warning!) 21st Century Hypnosis. It’s got tips and tricks to improve your hypnosis after you’ve gotten yourself started. And good luck! Let me know how it goes, or it you have any questions about if you are doing it right.Professor Jay Tee

What should I do if I think I'm an American Soldier who died in Vietnam reincarnated?

Before you start thinking about going "back" to vietnam, I would suggest you seek out someone who is familiar with past lives in that they have been able to get people in touch with them. This is not going to be an easy task, but I would suggest you start by contacting a few theraputic hypnotists to specialize in past life regression, as a hypnotist is probably going to be your best bet. Get some broader understanding of this urge/feeling/knowledge, and be armed with as much knowledge and insight as you can. Vietnam is still a dangerous place to be.

I lost a brother, a boyfriend, and many other friends in Vietnam. I would just love it if someone like you were one of them, or knew of them, and I am sure many other people would also.

What are the best ways to anchor my good mood and good state of mind so that I can trigger it at will?

With great respect to Mr. Garth, I'm going to disagree with using the tips of the fingers to anchor a state. Fingertips are dense with nerve endings, making precision anchoring difficult, and we're constantly using our fingers -- even those of our non-dominant hand, as I discovered recently after the tip of my knife slipped on me -- making it easy to extinguish your anchor. If you want a physical anchor, make it a spot nobody, including you, touches with any frequency.Me, I like to use the beginning of an unpleasant state as the anchor for a more resourceful state. I don't have to remember to fire an anchor; it essentially fires itself. The simplest way to do this is with the classic "swish pattern." I'm not as good at visualzing as I am at feeling, so I will use a kinesthetic/visceral variant.Another way I learned from Richard Bandler at a training is done in two stages. He had us pair up and trance each other, anchoring a deepening trance state to a squeeze on a wrist. Then he had us, individually, feel a desire to enter a state of trance and fire our own trance anchor. We did this three or four times until the squeeze on the wrist "collapsed" into our desire for the trance state. We could then enter a deep trance state any time we wished, just by intending to do so.(I'm assuming you're already adept at entering discrete emotional states and setting anchors. These skills are beyond Quora.)
