I Am Confusion. Which Phone Should I Buy Nokia 1100 Or Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Which is better for mobile smartphones, a flip cover or back cover?

I've used both a good flip cover and a back cover. For the readers' ease, I've going to be short and to the point. 1. Flip coverProsProvide extra screen protection. May have some windows on front end, to facilitate answering calls, viewing time etc. Some even have the capability to transform and be used as a stand so u can put the phone on a table and watch a movie. The original flip covers ( produced by the mobile companies such as those for moto g) have a magnetic sensor which lights up the screen when the flip is lifted up, and locks the device when flip covers the screen. ConsGenerally don't cover the phone's egdes (although some do). If you have busy lifestyle, you might find them as too time consuming and unmanageable. They also interfere with the proximity sensors, which may wreck havoc if you are answering your phone. If your phone heats too much, they will also hinder with the heat loss between the phone and atmosphere. Generally make the phones very heavy and thick. 2. Back cover ProsProvides protection on the phone edges (If you have moto x, you must have a back cover installed so that your screen doesn't shatter from even 1 foot fall). Provide a better look on the back.Cheaper than flip covers.Leaves the sensors clear so that they may work in a normal fashion. Minimalistic design. ConsDoesn't provide protection to phone's frontal part. These also interfere with phone's mechanism of losing heat. Require screen protectors separately to protect the screen. They also cause the phone to become heavy and thick.

Does 6GB/8GB RAM on an Android phone make sense?

YES and NO.Right now, the hardware required, and the battery technology we have, ain’t sufficient enough to hold that much amount of RAM. In the next 2 years, even 10 GB of RAM would make sense. Two years back, 2 GB of RAM on my One M8 was rare, and right now, 3GB is the norm. What’s worth noticing is that, hardware requirements increase exponentially with time, not just in a regular rate.……THEN WHY THIS MUCH OF RAM?Belief: People believe in Math. So, they believe in numbers. Hence, they think the greater the amount of RAM they have on their phones, better will be the performance.Marketing: LeEco is a relatively new maker. They want to make some name and attraction. Nothing gets you more popularity than getting News media titles like “The first phone with 8 GB of RAM”. The keyword here is “The first phone with…”.When One Plus 3 was released, it had certain limitations of using the RAM to conserve battery (as you have pointed out). However, with an OTA update later, some of those limitations were removed. As a result, people began seeing more RAM usage. But did it benefit them? Not so much. There was hardly any performance boost and more of a battery drainer. Someone had managed to use as much as 4.3 GB on One Plus 3 but not more than that. That is a sign that Android doesn’t really limit the amount of RAM, and the more you throw at it, the more it’ll try to use it. Which, really is a plus point for super-heavy users.MORE RAM DOESN’T NECESSARILY EQUATE MORE PERFORMANCEIf you’re a geek, this is no news for you. But RAM is not all about performance. Its about the amount of app data that your phone holds on the stack memory to prevent system waiting time like “Resume”, “Reload” of the apps. It facilitates multiple number of apps running in the background and foreground. While, processor makes up most of the phone’s performance. A phone with Snapdragon 820 processor and only 2GB of RAM may outperform another phone with Snapdragon 615 processor but 3GB of RAM.
