I Am Doing Sit Ups Since 3 Days But Now Today My Intestine Portion Is Hurting Is It Normal

Why does my stomach hurt after push ups?

I know this ‘problem’. It usually happens if you had a pause working out and being active or you are beginner and want to just warm up before enrolling a gym or whatever. The reason is that doing push ups it strikes your whole torso, especially the abdomen. And if you have the strength to do 30, 40 or even more push ups in one set, then this means 2, 3 or more minutes - depending on how you perform, hanging your torso in the air similar to doing the plank exercise. The push ups are a compound movement exercise involving your arms, pecs, legs, abs, shoulders and even back - therefore depending on the variation of the push ups you do, you get to exercise and stress a certain muscle group more than the others. In general, doing push ups mostly affects the pecs, triceps and abdomen.

Why is it that when I sit for too long, my stomach hurts really bad, like someone has stabbed me?

When you sit for long periods, the blood flow to lower abdomen and pelvic are are cut off or decreased, resulting in such discomfort as mentioned. To avoid such pain, one should not continue sitting for so long in the same position and try getting up at regular intervals and do some body movements to restore blood flow to all the parts .

How do I prevent abdominal pain after sit ups?

Sit-ups or crunches strain the abdominal muscle fibres and cause them to stretch. So some discomfort in this region is a normal phenomenon for sometime after sit-ups.However if the pain is severe or persistent, it would be advisable to have your technique looked at by a physiotherapist or trainer and you could reduce the number of repetitions and take breaks between sets.If the pain still persists, it could be because there is a tearing of muscle fibres and minor bleeding in the muscle which can be ruled out by doing an ultrasound. Rarely excessive straining can lead to formation of small hernias which could also be the cause of your pain. All of these can be ruled out by meeting a surgeon.

After childbirth , hurts to sit on toliet normal?

hello. i just gave birth a little less than 2 weeks ago. i didnt feel any pain until like 4 days ago. it is when you sit down. almost like you have to race the clock. right after you use the bathroom the whole area where the stitches are as well as the back end hurts very bad. before yo ueven have to time squirt yourself off with water. you have to stand up a little to ease the pain. it was like this last year when i had my daughter. it took like 3 or 4 months to finally go away. does anyone else know what i am talking about or know why it happens? my friend says maybe it is just gravity since you are sitting over a hole it is just that part of your body isnt supported and is causing the pain. any suggestions or similar experiences?

What causes an abdominal pain when I sit down?

If it doesn't happen everytime you sit down, it's more than likely gas. The pressure can build up inside the intestines and sitting puts more pressure on the gas and if it's trapped it can become painful. Answering a question like this actually requires more questions to be asked of you than what I can provide answers for right now. If you are concerned, go to your doctor. Remember, pain is the way your body tells you something is wrong. How wrong depends on a lot of questions that will be asked of you when you go. (Like painful to the touch while sitting, standing, laying down/ are you normally a gassy person after eating, does this pain happen after eating only and if not, when does it happen the most... As I said, more questions than answers right now).

C section experience stories please? Help!?

Both of my daughters were born by c-section, the first unplanned after 30 hours of induced labor that didn't progress beyond 5 cm and the second planned. The planned c-section went very smoothly and the recovery time was amazingly fast.

With my first, I was on an epidural that did not last through the surgery. When they began to sew me back up, I could feel it and it was horrible. I ended up in shock I think, shaking so much that I couldn't hold my baby for more than an hour after the surgery.

With the second, instead of an epidural, they gave me something a bit stronger. Once they got the medication in me, which wasn't a pleasant thing, I laid down and immediately felt a little claustrophobic. I was a little freaked out until my husband came in and held my hand. Then he told me that they had begun to open me up and when I realized that I couldn't feel a thing, I totally relaxed.

With any c-section, there are risks. It is surgery after all. For example, because I've had two, my uterus is now scarred, and the doctor who performed my second doesn't think I should have any more children at all (wasn't planning on it anyway). And the recovery time is a bit longer... it will hurt a bit when you first stand up, but move slowly, keep getting up every few hours and pretty soon you are moving just fine. You shouldn't lift anything heavier than your baby for a few weeks (and both of mine were 9 pounds or more).

Talk to your doctor about your fears - he or she can make recommendations. There will be pain either way, but deciding on what type of pain you can live with is the key.

Do c sections hurt? also can you eat after? thank you so much moms!?

Also The main symptom of appendicitis is belly (abdominal) pain. The pain can feel like indigestion or like you need to have a bowel movement or pass gas. Many people feel the first pain near the belly button. Then it moves to the lower right side of the belly. But the pain can be in different parts of your belly or even on your side. The pain may get worse if you move, walk, or cough. You may also have a fever or feel sick to your stomach.

Many people who have had appendicitis say the pain is hard to describe. It may not feel like any pain you have had before. It may not even be a very bad pain, but you may feel like something is wrong. If you have moderate belly pain that does not go away after 4 hours, call your doctor. If you have severe belly pain, call your doctor right away.

You may have appendicitis if:

You have pain in your belly. The pain may begin around your belly button.
The pain in your belly gets stronger and moves below your belly button on your right side (the lower right quadrant ). This is the most common place to feel pain when you have appendicitis.
The pain does not go away and gets worse when you move, walk, or cough.
You have pain in any part of your belly or on your side.
You feel nauseated or throw up a few times. You also may not feel like eating.
You have constipation, back pain, a slight fever, or a swollen abdomen.
