What does "over level 9000" mean in the anime/manga world?
When I read this I laughed just like when I heard it in dragon ball z which if you know anything about manga/anime you should have known were this came from. You hint'ed at the fact that u watch naruto or u wouldn't have gave that as an example so that must mean you like fighting manga/anime and everyone who likes that genre knows dragonball z so u must have forgot or are lying im guessing you forgot. Cause lying is bad

Gantz fits almost all of those categories. It's about these people who die and suddenly appear in an apartment in tokyo. The only other thing in the room is a giant black ball with a person in side. This ball tells the people in the room to kill aliens. A lot of the people in each round end up dying. There's also a bit of a love triangle going on between the three main characters. The morality of killing aliens that are peaceful until provoked is brought up partway through the series. It's also etchi. Very much so. I really loved this series. ^^

Well i've never read any of ur examples but Special A (anime/manga) and Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama (manga) both have main characters that are normal humans- (like nothing alien-ish or robotic or whatever)- but they're all super strong and super smart and stuff. Hope this helped :)

hhmmm... well, i know an anime thats fits ur description but im not sure if its right.... are you talking about Voltes V?? if ur still not sure, well, its about these 5 siblings, nd theyre half human half alien, theyre dad's from planet Boazan nd they hve a human mother.... nd i think he finds out that theyre half aliens..... nd they hve this this big robot that they fight with.... i cnt remember much, it was ages ago since ive watched it...
I am looking for a mecha anime that aired on toonami.?
This Mecha anime in question has been fingernail scratching in the back of my head. ive looked and looked and still can only find some series that may be similar but are definately not it. Description: This anime stars i believe is a depressing space colony that may have been lost or the last remnant of humanity. I remember the mechs pilots where pretty young maybe young adults. They would operate the mechs in a open cockpit almost a big sphere in the center of the mech similar to mobile g gundam. The main charachter was a young guy i think he may have been saved in deep space by the colony. They rest of the team maybe about 4 others i think are female i know the leader of the mech group is. and as the story goes on maybe the main character is gaining her favor and so the other pilots start to resent him. This is a little of what i can remember i know the conflict was with some sort of alien race that they could only get a few breaks from. The hole story felt very philosophical and quite grim it didnt seem like the colony or ship was getting anywhere all they could do might have been to rely on the mecha group to continually fend them off. Sorry this isnt much to work with, But i would appreciate your thoughts on this one!
