I Am Looking For A Way To Prevent Frizz And Flyaway

How to Stop flyaways and frizz?

I think aussie products work great. I use them everyday. Spray some "Aussie Smooth 12hr Anti-Humidity Spray" in your hair and you won't have fly-aways all day! If you have A LOT of them I suggest a product called "Bed Head; After Party." You can find both at Wal-Mart or Drugstores. Here is a picture of both;

How can i stop my hair going frizzy and flyaway.?

Hi! I'm Julie and I work for Pantene. When the atmosphere is damp it is hard to keep our hair under control! I have fine hair and it happens to me all the time. Sadly, there's no miracle cure for the problem, but there are a few tricks that can reduce static electricity and make your hair more manageable. Here are two tips for a quick fix in the morning:
- Use a bit of hairspray on your brush. It will help smooth and control your hair.
- Rub a little bit of hand cream in your hands and pass your fingers through your hair avoiding the roots.

If you you have more time, though, there are a few things you can do to avoid flyaways:
1) Apply conditioner each time you wash your hair to reduce static build up and make your locks easier to control.
2) Avoid plastic brushes and artificial bristles. Natural bristle and wood don't harbour so much electric charge.
3) Synthetic clothing also store static electricity, so opt for outfits in natural fabrics such as wool or silk to minimise the effect. I know it's not ideal but it does work!

Your hair will go frizzy if you live in a very humid place or if you bleach or colour it, or if you simply use heat devices very often. Here are a few things you can do to keep your hair smooth & in place:
- Always rinse it with cold water.
- To smooth your hair as you dry, use a big round brush and always blow in a downward motion.
- Use specific hair care products that will smooth your hair down and enable you to style it the way you want. We have a range called Pantene Smooth & Sleek which helps keep the frizz under control.
- Use a heat protection spray before using heat devices.
- Quickly pass the irons through each strand to avoid damage if you straighten your hair.
- Use a styling mousse or serum so your hair looks groomed and shiny.

Hope this will help you keep your hair under control!

Prevent flyaway hairs??!?

* If you spray some hairspray onto a tissue, and then run over the flyaway hairs, this should calm them. Only use a tissue, because if you use your hands, it will make your hair greasy.

* Use a shampoo formulated for frizzy hair. These shampoos can help you eliminate flyaway hairs and tame frizz.

* Spray your hair with hairspray to tame flyaway hairs. Alternatively, you can spray your hairbrush with hairspray and then brush your hair to get rid of flyaway hairs

* Run a dryer sheet across your hair. This helps eliminate static hair, and it tames flyaway hair at the same time.

* Dampen your hair to get rid of flyaways. Slightly wet your hands with water and run your hands through your hair to tame flyaway hairs. You could also use a spray bottle to spray water on the parts of your hair that have flyaways

* In a pinch ? Use some hand or body lotion. Rub it into the palms of your hands and lightly smooth over the flyaways. Sleek & sexy in no time !

My hair is so frizzy and curly and flyaway and its so rough and ugly???:(:( please help me??:'(?

hey! my hair is naturally the same! I have a white girl afro! I have hardly ever met anyone with the same hair as me, its really rare. Id suggest investing in some GHD straighteners, they are THE ONLY ones to get if ur hair is like that. Also, start looking around for products to tame frizzy hair. I used to love John Frieda Frizz Ease for coarse hair, but they have stopped doing it now, probably becuase our hair is so rare that they dont sell enough! So try John frieda products anyway, cause they have potions etc to help straighten ur hair, also "dark and lovely" do some good straightening products and potions, u will probably have to get them off the internet as im not sure if they are sold in the USA. Also, L'Oreal "hot straight" is good,. Now I am 22 and have learned to live with my hair, I sometimes wear it curly, as long as I have some kind of creme/lotion on it when its drying to stop it looking like a frizz bomb! there are lots of products out there that make frizzy hair look lovely and shiney and smooth while falling into soft curls and this is HOT look.....when I cant be bothered I just straighten the roots and let the ends curl and it looks really cool, like something out of a magazine, its the best of both worlds! U have to make sure u hair is well moisturised as curly hair tends to be prone to dryness (according to my hair dresser) so get an intensive conditioner too. Hope that helps ! x
Also, remember that it probably looks a lot worse in ur eyes than it does to anyone else. I look at pictures of me when I was 15 I hated the way I looked, and now I look at pics and see that I looked quite good and cant understand I missed that before! We always want what other ppl have too, when I had my hair permanently straigtened (lasted about 5 months), I got bored of it and wished for a few curls now and again! ;) on the internet there will be looooads of products and you can sometimes pay using paypal so u dont need a credit card, or even postal order, or get ur parents to buy it for you and you pay them back. ;)

How do you stop the "flyaway" hair?

i asked my hairdresser about this as i have the same problem but her suggestions for hair products didnt exactly work. i read this in a magazine one day and tried it and it worked for me.
This suggestion is pretty much simple.. put a bit of body moisturiser in your palm and rub palms together, make sure its only a small amount to have a thin coating on hands, then smooth down the flyways starting at the top of your head from your parting, you can lightly kindof pat/smooth down as you like. that should keep the frizzies down with the rest of your hair! Plus it wont weigh your hair down or look weird/yucky during the day like hairspray or anything. It worked for me, hope you try it some time =)

How to repair dry and frizzy bleached blonde hair?

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/avfth

I am a hairdresser in SLC, UT. I will answer your questions to the best of my ability... -If you wash/dry/iron your hair every day due to oiliness, you may not have to if you bleach. The reason we recommend not washing every day is because the bleach is pretty drying to your hair/scalp, so you want to make sure it's getting enough natural oil so it doesn't break off. Washing every other day is a good way to keep it from getting brittle and frizzy. If you HAVE to wash it every day, make sure you're using a good hydrating or repairing shampoo. I usually recommend Pureology Repair Shampoo/Cond (in the green bottle), or Pureology Hydrate Shampoo/Cond. If you're hair is fine, you can now get Hydrate Lite Conditioner that won't make your hair oilier or weigh it down. Another good one is the Redken Extreme Shampoo/Cond., you'll want to ask your hair stylist what he/she recommends for your specific hair type. As far as it "being orange", that depends on a few factors. Hair goes through several stages while being lightened. It goes black>dark brown>red brown>red>red orange>orange>orange yellow>yellow>pale yellow (like a golden blonde)>platinum. The lighter your hair is now, the less of a chance you will have of getting stuck at one of the "orange" stages. Usually medium brown or lighter is a pretty safe bet on getting to a pretty platinum blonde. If your hair is dark brown or black, I would recommend going blonde in 2 steps. Either get very heavy hi-lights, twice, or if you are impatient (like me) you can have them bleach all of your hair as light as they can get it (probably to an orange stage) and tone it to a medium/light brown, and a few days later get it lifted the rest of the way. If you wait a few days, you'll damage your hair less, and you'll get it to a lighter stage. I wouldn't recommend against it, unless your hair is very dark, or you have been using "box dye" on it. But you'll need to talk about it in detail with your hairdresser. And make sure to have plenty of money on-hand for the initial journey (especially if your hair is very dark) as this can take several processes and alot of time/product. And don't forget to tip!

How do I get rid of fly away hair?

If it is cold outside and your hair has seen better days, don't worry. Flyaway hair or static hair is a common problem during the cold and dry winter months. Follow these tips to get rid of flyaway hair and so you'll have great looking hair year round.
Spray your hair with hairspray to tame flyaway hairs. Alternatively, you can spray your hairbrush with hairspray and then brush your hair to get rid of flyaway hairs. Use a shampoo formulated for frizzy hair. These shampoos can help you eliminate flyaway hairs and tame frizz. Apply a hair serum or gel to your hair to get rid of any flyaway hair. Silicone-based hair serums and gels will help keep your hair smooth and tame any unruly hairs at the same time. Put a small amount of cream or lotion through your hair. Any kind of hand or body lotion will work. Simply place a small amount of lotion in your hands and run your hands over the areas of flyaway hairs. Be sure not to use too much lotion or you can weigh your hair down. Run a dryer sheet across your hair. This helps eliminate static hair, and it tames flyaway hair at the same time. Dampen your hair to get rid of flyaways. Slightly wet your hands with water and run your hands through your hair to tame flyaway hairs. You could also use a spray bottle to spray water on the parts of your hair that have flyways.

Coconut oil is a great way to tame your curls or like in Italy use olive oil.  If you need more control put sugar and water in a spray bottle or sprite and use as a light hairspray with a little oil on the mid lengths to the end of your hair.  Here are a few other tips to help maintain control over your curls:While in shower condition hair with a detangling conditioner and brush hair while in shower with comb or brush of choice.  I prefer the tangle Teezer personally as it is safer on your hair when brushing while wet, pulls out all the hair that has shed without damaging the rest of the hair that is still attached and is pain free (great for kids).  When it comes to picking out a conditioner use one meant for your hair type that has detangling properties to it.  Rinse out conditioner.  Keep in mind the cooler the water on the hair the better.  Hotter water steams the cuticles of the hair open, making it frizzier and dull.  Cooler water helps the cuticle to shrink and hug the hair shaft making it smoother and shinier.  A point to consider is when you go in a hot tub notice how your hair is frizzy while the meantime when you swim in cooler waters and get out your hair is shiny.Once out towel BLOT, not rub hair; use towel to scrunch out major portions of water.  Rubbing hair with towel to try will only cause frizz and the hair to break from the pack to form the perfect curl formation and condition you are looking to sport.  Micro Fiber Cloths work great for soaking up all the bulk mixture.Do not comb hair after out of shower; you already did when you brushed or combed out any of the lose hairs while in the shower with the conditioner.  The WHOLE purpose of brushing is to only remove natural hair shed to prevent tangles.Apply your oils mid length to ends (avoid the roots as it will only give you an oily scalp) and let air dry or diffuse.  And add the sugar water or sprite mixture of you feel you need more control.  :)
