I Am Looking For This Move

I am looking for a slogan about moving to the west?

I am doing a project and we hae to make a billboard so i am looking for a catchy slogan of why to move out west...(westward expansion) late 1800s Thanks!!!!! 10 pts to the one i use!

I'm looking to move to Dana Point CA?

Out of the 10,000+ square miles in all of Southern California you selected a few square mile the basis of nothing more than Google maps, crime statistics, and pictures from the Chamber of Commerce.

Okay to get into a bit more of the mundane...but more useful information. Dana Point is a higher end water front community that does tend to be on the more relaxed side. Notice I didn't say beach community. That is because there is really one main beach with Doheny State Beach(which is also one of the "dirtier" beaches of Southern California) is the only beach. When I lived in the area I had no problem going another 20-30 minutes up the coast to get to better beaches. The rest of the waterfront is a harbor for boats and yachts and a marine sanctuary.

The average 1BR apt in LA is about $1200/month, in Dana Point you are looking at about $1500/month. Meaning you need to be earning about $3600/month to be able to meet your minimum monthly expenses.

Next..location. Because you are in the Southern end of OC..you have 1 city to the south San Clemente. After that it is Camp Pendelton for about 20 miles until you hit San Diego County. You have the ocean to the west and mountains to the east...in other words not a lot of ways to go.

You will have some smaller stores in the immediate area. There is a Costco very close by, but if you want other major stores or shopping malls you have about a 10-15 minute trip to get to one. Then unless your job is near Dana Point(and just because of location the odds are against it) you could have a 1-2 hour commute each way, especially if your job is in Northern Orange or LA County. If it is in somewhere like Riverside County you could be looking at a 2-3 hour commute each way.

Weather because you are close to the ocean there are several months a year it can cloudy most(if not all of the day). But there are days where it can be quite sunny as well.

So yes if you can afford it, and don't mind the location and time it will take to get to places then Dana Point could be for you. But perhaps you should rearrange your priorities.
a)Graduate College
b)Save up Money
c)Take a Trip to Orange County
d)Get a job

and then E)...Find a place to live.

I have lived in NYC all my life, but I am looking to move. Where should I go?

Hmmm...this is an open book.  The answer is very subjective to one's personal taste, but I think Denver is a good option.  Rallying real estate market and strong job market.  Another idea is Austin, where you'll definitely meet other people your age and you'll also find a very strong job market.  Then there is always San Francisco. It'd probably be helpful to know what you do for a living and/or what you plan to do for work where you decide to go next.  And what types of climates appeal to you, if you prefer the ocean nearby, if having the mountains close to home are important, etc.

I am looking to move out/rent out in a few months time, what should I look out for?

If you decide to get a roommate to help with rent, make sure its someone youve known for a very long time. Strong bond. Some people invite strangers…it sounds so unreal but its true. Also, maintain your rent…if you get an eviction you have to wait 7 yrs before you ever get your own place again. thats how long the eviction will stay on your record.

I am looking to move to Sofia, Bulgaria! Where do I start?

The best place to start, IMHO, would be to talk with people who have already moved here (sorry, I have no practical advice myself, as I’ve never moved beyond the Sofia Field). Probably the best places for that are either the Foreigner.bg: Best info and advice for expats site or the Foreigners in Sofia & Friends Facebook group. Most British expats seem to settle in the countryside, less so in Sofia itself, but I’m sure they’d be able to guide you through the legal and practical sides of the move in general. I don’t know how much relevance their experiences would have in regards to the new situation after Brexit though.
