You may drive it in any green state with the front plate on your car without any problems, but even in New Mexico, your Texas registered car must have a front plate on the vehicle.If you register your cars in New Mexico, you will be issued only one plate which must be on the rear of the vehicle. You may drive that NM registered car with no front plate in any of the blue states legally.
Car registration expired a month ago, but moving?
You can learn how to register in Texas at www.RegisteredTexan.com or www.TxDMV.gov. You do not want to enter Texas without registration as you must show proof of your previous state registration. Texas law does not allow even the wheels of a vehicle to touch the pavement if the vehicle is unregistered. If you put the vehicle on a trailer then it's OK, but no wheels on the road. We wouldn't want your first experience as a new Texan to be a bad one. I am the PIO at the TxDMV. As of 1997, the rate was slightly higher than average according to this: http://www.circlist.com/rites/teensurvey.html 77% in Texas vs 76% in US overall. It does appear that this survey is not representative of the population in terms of ethnicity - eg, I highly doubt that only 3.5% of the population in Texas is hispanic. Those surveyed were heavily Caucasian.
My current location in Yahoo is incorrect. How do I get it fixed?
I BELIEVE it's very simple..... 1) login to your email 2) click your name on the top left hand corner of the page (mines is on the left so idk if yours is different ok ) 3) click account info 4) re- enter your password ( for safety message by yahoo) 5) when the page opens up stroll down to "view/update your safe location" 6) then you can delete the wrong info and update the correct one ok hope i helped :)
Yahoo weather wrong location?
I'm on a satellite internet hookup, Yahoo weather thinks I am alternatively in Virginia or Texas, neither of which is even close. I have saved my actual location in the Yahoo Weather location setup, but I want it to load each time My Yahoo loads, or page refreshes. Instead I get the Yahoo detected IP, which is quite wrong. Any ideas?
