I Am Planning A Trip To La.

I am planning a trip to LA.?

Disneyland will take all day. Universal will take all day. Six Flags will take all day.
If you want to see any part of LA aside from the theme parks you'll either have to cut out one of the parks, shorten your visit to the parks, extend your stay, or make a short list of things you want to do in one day. Keep travel time and traffic in mind when you plan your itinerary, because one day to explore LA probably isn't going to be enough.
You ask if you're going to be driving around. That's pretty much the only way to get around LA. How else were you planning to travel? By the way Disneyland isn't in LA, it's in Orange County, about 40 minutes away. I think Six Flags is even farther.
Personally I suggest Disneyland as a must-see, then choosing between Six Flags and Universal Studios, that way you'll have at least a full day free to explore LA. I've never been to Six Flags but I've heard it's focus is mostly thrill rides. Universal, on the the hand, is more of a theme park focused on the magic of movies.

Need help planning a trip to LA?

There are a lot to see in LA and for you and your friends to REALLY enjoy your stay here, rent a car once you are in Los Angeles because LA unlike NY is a car city. You will have a very hard time and you will not appreciate and enjoy your vacation here if you are only commuting. Rent a car and chip in the cost with your friends, it is only $35/day.

Look for an Inn located in Glendale (Colorado Blvd), that way you are near to The Americana and Glendale Galleria. From there, it is approximately 3 miles going to Los Feliz where you can see the Griffith Observatory and you will also see the HOLLYWOOD sign from there. From the Observatory it is only 3-4 miles to the famous HOLLYWOOD WALK. From Glendale, it is so easy to go to Old Pasadena, Downtown Los Angeles, etc. From Glendale, drive north to I-5 and approximately 20 minutes you are in Six Flags Magic Mountain.

The community is safe and the Inns, Lodges, etc are very neat and presentable.
Enjoy Los Angeles!!! BUT RENT A CAR.

I am planning on a trip to New Orleans, LA?

you may attempt the Olivier homestead, the placement de hands, or The Prince Conti. those could desire to be on your budget. In August, the fees could desire to be even lots low fee by way of fact August is the actual worst time to pass to New Orleans by way of fact it rather is extremely warm and humid. The Quarter would be extraordinarily quiet and each place will grant deep discounts. nonetheless, i'm guessing you're unlikely to consume in rather severe end places. seem at ok Paul's, Camellia Grill, Muriels, GW Fins, Cafe Maspero, Deanies, Acme Oyster homestead... and of direction, Cafe du Monde. in case you elect extra powerful than vacationer music, walk in the process the Quarter at Decatur, pass Esplanade and pass to Frenchman street. you may no longer omit it. all forms of interior reach bands play there.

I am planning a trip to Dubai in August but I have some questions?

You will be able to eat, the restaurants have dining areas not visible from the street. Nobody minds you eating, it just doesn't do to eat and drink in front of people who have been fasting and are maybe v. hungry and feel it a lot. You don't have to worry about sleeveless shirts etc. but you might like to wear long sleeved clothes anyway, because the sun out there is NOT like NY, you can walk down a road with no cover and end up getting heat stroke. Think before you walk during the hot part of the day. There is also a problem with HUMIDITY like you will not have encountered before. The best thing to do is sleep during the middle of the day in your air conditioned hotel room and stroll out to the restaurants in the evening when everything is lively. Ramadan is fine in Dubai, but the end of Ramadan (Eid) is a public holiday, and most things are closed for a day or two.

I'm planning a trip to LA. and want to stay in the best possible location.?

you won't be in a position to truly detect the Olympics by utilising bus. you ought to probable locate some crew excursion or something, yet you will maximum in all hazard in basic terms see a small fraction of the Park. you fairly would ought to hire a motor vehicle in case you pick to ascertain the Olympics. The Olympic NP is an fairly enormous section and there is in basic terms sluggish 2 lane roads to get to diverse areas of the park. there's no longer something in Forks and there is no longer something close to Forks different than for timber. this is a pair of five hour stress from Seattle, taking the bus would be even longer. you would be greater suitable off staying in Port Angeles, yet there's no longer plenty in Port Angeles the two (whether it has much greater to grant than Forks) and it too takes continually to get to. in case you could manage to pay for it, you would be way greater suitable off renting a motor vehicle. while you're traveling by utilising bus to a majority of those small cities it is going to take you continually and you will spend all some time on a bus and characteristic not often every time on the places you certainly pick to ascertain.

Can anyone help with planning a trip to LA?

If I can do my errands and work all day travelling from one town to the next and eat out by myself in this town, Im sure you can come here solo. You will be ok. I am an angeleno native and never ever had any problems. Just stay out of areas that look shady. I would take a tour of Los Angeles when you first arrive so you can see the city on bus first to get a feel of the city. I always do that when I arrive in a new city.

I would get a car, LA is so spread out it's better to be with a car if you are a tourist, but stay away from rush hour traffic. If you get a car then you can take the car up the pacific coast highway (PCH) and drive up from Venice (do the boardwalk) and rent a bike at the beach, then drive to Santa Monica (3rd street Promenade shopping), then to Malibu and then to Zuma Beach to catch the sunset. Melrose Avenue has a lot of stores between La Brea/Fairfax. You can visit "The Grove" on Fairfax and 3rd, lots of places to eat and shop. Drive down sunset blvd and hollywood blvd to get a feel for hollywood. There is a nice hiking trail if you are into that called Runyon Canyon, you can see all of la, from downtown to the beach on a clear day. You can do the Getty museum, Universal Studios, La zoo during the day which is next to griffith park observatory which you should do at night. You can see a tv show at any of the studios. On the last friday of the month, you can go to the California Mart & New Mart in downtown LA where they have sample sales, floors and floors of LA fashion at 70% off. arrive by 9am. There are regular stores that you would see in malls next to Rodeo Drive and Im sure if you looked up consignment stores in Beverly hills you would find some. .

Definetely do In-n-Out, most people love it. There is one in Hollywood. Go to Citysearch.com for everything else. There is so many restaurants here that are inexpensive, you won't have a problem finding something to eat that is budget minded. Maybe stay near hollywood. Do a search for budget hotels at tripadvisor.com and maybe citysearch.com. I usually advise my friends to stay at beverly motor inn its usually cheaper than most and central but its been a while since I checked. Timeout.com or the calendar section of LA times newspaper could also give you some ideas on events during the week that you will be here.

Enjoy your trip!!

Tourists can choose between six islands of Hawaii. Each of them is different. Great contrasts exist even within the same island: in climate, weather conditions, nature, beaches, etc.Apparantly, there’s even no “the best” island, because everything depends on your considerations, wishes, company you are travelling with, purpose of travel, and so on.If you are an active tourist, you can spend your holiday on two or even three islands. If you want to rest from long flights, to plunge into complete relaxation, of course, it’s better to stay on one island. As for me, the best option for the visit is Oahu or Maui.Oahu is the most urbanized and the most populated island, but it offers the biggest amount of attractions, including the world’s famous Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbour, more than 60 well-kept beaches, 3 botanical gardens, museums, restaurants, bright night life, and all that jazz. You can take a look at reviews of travellers that have already visited Oahu - Around Oahu Island. Honolulu, Hawaii | Cruisebe.com, Pearl Harbor On Oahu Island | Cruisebe.com, Oahu Island.
