Fifa 08 pc gamepad problem?

i have the same problem, i was trying to find some research online, so i came here.
what i've read online, apparently certain controllers do not work, ive got the same controller as you i think, simlar to PS2..
its just annoying when im playing online, and they get a freekick, and i cant move my keeper, then they score..
its a shame, you cant just wipe the keys, and set it to certain ones.
sorry i cant help, just a article i was reading earlier, saying certain controllers dont work etc...

How do I play fifa 15 in pc with an ordinary gamepad because my gamepad is not supported.?

Hi. Thanks for A2A.If your joystick is not supported, you can change the OEM name in registry settings. Follow the following procedure to do the same:Press windows+R (opens run menu)Type regedit and press enter.Windows registry editor will open on pressing enter.Go to the following registry key   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateP roperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_079&PID_049. (The VID and PID of your joystick depends on the vendor, you check the same in device properties of your joystik)Now on the right side you'll see a key named "OEMName" (The value might be USB joystick or anything like that depending upon your joystick vendor)Double click on it and a new dialog box will open with the value. Replace the text with name of any of the supported joystick. (For example, Logitech F350).Press OK and close registry editor. And You're done.Start the game and check your joystick. You might need to customise the controls as per your style of play.Hope this helps.

Can I play a PS4 game with a PC USB controller?

I'm going to guess that what your asking is can you use a controler from another console or an older console on the PS4.You cannot just plug any USB controler into the PS4 system and expect it to work. The only 2 controler types that are 100% PS4 compatible are the PS4 controler and the PS Vita paired and linked to that console. The exception to this is if you spend extra money to buy a converter such as the CronusMax. CronusMax Plus Cross Cover Gaming Adapter for PS4 PS3 Xbox One Xbox 360 Windows PC Amazon.com: CronusMax Plus Cross Cover Gaming Adapter for PS4 PS3 Xbox One Xbox 360 Windows PC: Video Games Thesr converters plug into the systems USB port and allow you to use older wireless controlers or controlers from other systems or even the PC. However these things are not cheap they cost as much as a controler and in most cases you will loose some functionality ie. Your big middle scroll pad button that is only found on rhe ps4 controler. Also there will probably be sone set up you will have to do on a pc so you can tell the converter what buttons on the controler you want mapped to the buttons on your ps4.

What is a good gamepad for a desktop pc?

I have been looking around for a decent gamepad that dose not cost more then its own weight. It needs to be able to handle steampower (steam) games. So far I have found the Logitech F310
Logitech f710
Thrustmaster GPX
Xbox 360 Wired Controller

I am not sure which one I should get for the PC. I have had issues with the xbox 360 adapters out there not working for half of the pc's I have set up so that is no longer an option. I am leaning more for the logitech f310 for price though there are mixed reviews for it after about 6 months worth of abuse. Thus I am at a lost on which one would be the better of the ones to buy. Would love to get my moneys worth for a change.

Thanks for the advice.

When you play games on PC, do you use a controller or the traditional keyboard and mouse to play?

Most of the games I play are easier with mouse and keyboard than a controller. A game like TheHunter:Primal, for example, is far easier to play with just the keyboard to walk and do stuff and the mouse to aim and shoot. But I also played various flight simulators where a joystick is more practical so I use a joystick for those. And for others I might even combine the controller with the mouse and keyboard.I also have a few games that are built inside their own controller. Basically simple platform games in their own hardware and a cable to connect them to a computer. Often extremely cheap, runs on batteries and great to play with when you don’t want to bring your laptop to somewhere. (For example, when you’re staying a night in a hotel.)Over the years I’ve actually build a small collection of keyboards, mice, joysticks and a few other controllers. And because I like to tinker with hardware and Arduino boards, I can even make my own controller hardware if I like. Did use this once to send macro-commands to a game when I pressed a key. Very useful! :-)But as I’m a software developer I generally use the best tool for the job, and don’t force the job to fit my toolset. So I use what’s most practical for a game…

I have a quantum gamepad for pc and its right analog stick is acting as 1234 buttons. How to fix this problem?

This may work out for you:-Plug In your controller.Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and PrintersIf your device is listed then right click on the device icon.Select Game Controller Settings/Properties/Settings/CalibrateFollow on screen Instructions.Or click reset to default button at Game Controller Settings/Properties/Settings.This will work out I think. If it doesn't then let me know.
