I Am Visiting Rajasthan For The First Time How Should I Prepare Myself

I'm (19) going to meet my girlfriend for the first time in Jaipur. It is my first solo travel to such a big city (town boy). Do you have any suggestions for me about the city and about meeting her?

first of all jaipur is not that big city yet a beautifull city and if u are visiting for the first time here are some advice for u.dont take auto instead book a cab through ola or uber coz autawalas here charge a huge amount knowing that u are an outsiderif you are on tight budget i will suggest u to take your gf for a coffee at GVD at malviya nagar behind wtp or coffee at statue circle.if u want to explore some malls u can go to WTP, TRITON, MGF and if u want to visit some historical site than nahargarh, jaighar and amer are some places to explore with your gf.and plzz carry your school or cllg id that help u in getting a cheaper ticket at monuments and also carry adhar card with u coz for booking a hotel u will require a id.and i u want to spend some quality time with your gf u can take her to jaldhara or smriti van.thats all i can say brotherso, good luck.

How many days should I plan to stay at Mount Abu for my trip to visit all the must see places at Mt. Abu?

One of the most beautiful hill destinations amidst the arid state of Rajasthan, Mount Abu is absolutely perfect vacation spot. The water streams enroute from Abu Road (during monsoons), the clouds at the eye level and scenic beauty are only some of the perks this place offers. I would recommend 2-3 days in the hill-town which should be enough to cover most of the places along with enjoying the beautiful evenings and mornings!!Some of the places worth watching are:1. Delwara Temples2. Nakki Lake3. Sunset Point4. Travellers Tank5. Gurushikhar6. Toad RockMore of my experience from trips to Mount Abu, please do read my blog post at The Treasured Destination of Rajasthan - Mount Abu

Have u ever been travelling in in india?

I was living in India for over a year and traveled a lot too. It's an amazing experience, I would definitely recommend it! I didn't make it to the east coast at all - but went around the mountains, the centre, west and south...

I absolutely would recommend Rajasthan - go to Pushkar, Jaipur(pink city), Jodhpur (blue city), Udaipur (palaces - Octopussy bond movie was filmed there) and Jaisalmer for a camel safari. The mountains are stunning - Leh is breathtaking, like walking on the moon!, Kashmir is great -Srinagar (don't be conned by people in Delhi, go yourself and find your own accommodation). Mc Leod Ganj where the dalai lama lives is worth a visit. Go to Mumbai!!! It's electric and a total Indian experience... Varanasi, for the same reasons, but it's older, on the banks of the Ganges and of religious significance. Delhi is crazy and chaotic but I still love it, you can see both old and new and do some shopping. If it's a choice between Goa and Kerala - I would recommend the latter, it is so diverse - in Kerala you can see beaches, tea plantations, mountains, and the beautiful backwaters.

Oh and of course u need that all-important Taj Mahal pic, but it can be seen in one day... As for advise - don't believe the lonely planet, you can wear almost anything - jeans, t-shirts, even dresses and heels in clubs like in Delhi or Mumbai! Indian girls get very dolled up there! But, in trains, or out of the city, just make sure you're not showing too much - i.e. above the knee or any cleavage. Just for your own good! :)

Enjoy it!
