I Binged Hard This Morning That I Lost Count It Might Be 3 000 Calories I Think

How many calories can I eat during the eating period of intermittent fasting?

Greetings! This is an interesting question. Recently, more often in the Internet you can find information about periodic fast. But (as often happens in dietetics), you can find very contradictory statements. :)I think the answer to your question depends on your goal. If you want to lose weight, then definitely you should not consume 4K calories in the time period that you eat. Especially if this interval is very short in time.Usually people start using this method according to the scheme 16/8. That is 16 hours you are fasting, and then within 8 hours of eating. Then after a while the scheme progresses at 18/6, and then 20/4.Suppose you are using 18/6. In this case, in six hours, rationally fit three meals. Their total calorie content can be about 2000 calories, maybe 2500. In that case (in spite of the satiety of this diet), you have a chance to start losing weight. The main principle of this practice is that the digestive organs can well loosen every day. And this will not only lose weight, but will restore your health.

I binge ate 2000 calories today. I usually only eat up to 900 calories a day or less. I am thinking of fasting tomorrow. I have tried to purge but it didn't work. I hate myself for doing this. I am going to exercise for 1 1/2 hours. What should I do?

On first blush, it sounds like you have an eating disorder. As others have said here, 900 calories a day is nearly starvation level. First of all, you have to consider your basal metabolic rate (BMR). That’s how many calories your body burns just to keep you alive. For an 18 year old woman who weighs 100 pounds, your BMR is about 1250 calories per day (probably 1350 if you’re a man with the same dimensions). Like I said, that’s just to keep you alive. If you things like get out of bed, walk around, or work the TV remote, to say nothing of ride a bike or raise children, you’re going to need to take in a lot more than those 1250 calories. If you want to know your specific BMR, there are plenty of BMR calculators online. These will tell you the minimum number of calories you should intake each day just to remain part of the human race.Anyway, let’s say your BMR is 1250 and you took in 2000 calories. And lets assume you lived a normal, somewhat active life (you know, you weren’t 100% inert all day). You probably burnt another 500 calories on just your daily to-and-fro so you probably burnt about 1750 calories for the entire. That means you had a caloric excess of 250 calories. Since it takes 3500 calories in excess of your daily burn to add one pound to your body, you probably gained less than 1/10th of a pound. Given that you otherwise are trying to starve yourself, you could probably use that 1/10th of a pound.Oh, and by the way, doing abs isn’t going to do jack-diddly for your weight, except increase it as you add muscle mass (the result of ab work). Anyone who tells you can spot-reduce by “doing abs” is full of crap.

How many calories does a 15 year old burn a day?

I'm 15 female 5'6" 107 pounds and I am fairly active I do at least 20 minutes exercise each day followed by lunges sit ups etc I was just wondering how many calories I would burn each day just if I sat and did nothing. Thankyou :)

Do I have binge eating disorder?

it might be. you'll have to get a few tests and be asked a few certain questions by a doctor. no one can diagnose an eating disorder that's not qualified and if you don't take a few tests.
if you want to get better, you'll just have to see a doctor. if you're still in school, you can see the nurse if you want it to be a little more private. i know it's hard to do, but it'll be worth it.
good luck. :)

What how many calories did you eat when you were anorexic. Walk me through your state of mind at that time?

I guess I went through phases with my eating disorder. In my “anorexic phase”, my day would go…Wake up, relieve myself, weigh myself (because we’re all skinniest in the morning after we pee, aren’t we?). Take off my shirt, feel my ribs and make sure they’re intact (I had body dysmorphia, too). Then I would drink 2 glasses of cold water and do 20 jumping jacks. For breakfast, I would eat some veggies. This was done just for show, to reassure my parents that I was putting something into my mouth. Typically, I would have a lot of resistance within me, telling me that the veggies were empty calories, would make me fat, that I should stop eating after the 2nd mouthful etc.I wasn’t a lunch kind of person so we’ll skip this one.By 5 pm, my hunger pangs would be nauseating and I would get painful headaches, so I would eat a slice of papaya or watermelon.Dinner would be around 9 pm, with my family. So I had to eat something. But again, I would play with my food, have this internal struggle with myself, feel super guilty for eating more than my ED suggested (i.e. nothing). After dinner, I would drink lots and lots of water and cry under my blankets. Dreading the next day when the cycle would repeat.

How much does having one cheat day a week affect weight loss?

This was my before and after pic from a few weekends ago. I went 20 straight days eating healthy, no cheat days, no cheat meals, nothing. I had been plateauing around 157–159 lbs. and finally broke through. On Saturday, I had the following cheat day.Homemade egg and cheese omelet2 waffles1 protein shakePopcornPenn Station Chicken Parmesan, fries, and lemonade1 chocolate dipped ice cream cone from Dairy QueenGiovanni's pizza and cheese sticks Half a box of vanilla wafers3 mini size chocolate pieces1.5 powdered donuts 5 Miller LitesWhen I woke up the next morning, I stepped on the scale and showed a 7.4 lb wight gain, alas the after pic. That was 18 days ago. Unfortunately, I have eaten bad about 5 or 6 days in the last 18 days so my progress has been super slow getting back down to where I was. However, it’s almost impossible for me to tell a difference in how I look between weighing 153 lbs and 158 lbs. Unless you are competing at shows or your weight affects your athletic performance, a 5–7 lb. increase/decrease isn’t enough to really show a huge difference, most of the time. There are exceptions of course but generally speaking, it’s not going to make a difference. My final point would be that weight loss is a long term journey. As long as you are eating healthy and doing the right things the majority of the time, you will get to where you want to go as long as you do not quit. If you let a cheat day derail you and turn it into a cheat month and you fall off the wagon, you’re done. If you just accept (and enjoy) your cheat meal and then the next day go right back to eating right, you’ll be just fine!Hope that helps!
