I Bought Coach Factory Outler Online Item Can Return To Coach Store

Are the Michael Kors products on online outlet stores real or knockoffs?

Both of those are fake

The official site Michaelkors.com is the ONLY site selling authentic Michael Kors items that is allowed to use the terms "Kors" or Michaelkors" anywhere in their domain name. Any other site you find using either name is actually breaking the law -- it's called trademark infringement. So if the site name is already illegal you know the products are not legit

2 month old site with a fake address http://who.godaddy.com/whois.aspx?domain...

There is NO online Michael Kors official outlet. All sale items are on the Sale page of the official site http://www.michaelkors.com/store/catalog... or department store sites like Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, etc

Can you return stuff at coach outlets?

Yep, I bought a purse there and they told me I could return it with a receipt. Also, if you buy it at an outlet, you can exchange it for one at a Coach store. Hope this helps!

Can you return an item bought from a regular Banana Republic to an outlet BR?

I bought a sweater from a regular Banana Republic while I was out of town, but decided that I want to return it. Problem is there's only a Banana Republic Factory Outlet by where I live. Anyone know if they'll accept my return?

Can you return an item bought at a Nike outlet store (Camarillo, CA) and return them to a regular Nike store?

Question answered: Can you return an item bought at Nike outlet store (Camarillo, California) and return them to regular Nike store? I bought sweatpants at the Nike outlet this weekend. I realized the size was too big but I have to drive 60 miles to Camarillo to get them exchanged/refunded so I would want to go to Nike store and return them if possible at all because I don’t want to drive 60 miles just to get refunded.I shop at the Camarillo Outlet Stores myself and I drive there from Santa Barbara where I currently live.I hear you when you talk about driving 60 miles to get there. It might even be a longer drive for me, but if not it’s certainly close to that.I’ve had several conversations about returns when I’ve shopped for clothing, shoes, handbags, and other items there. One of my first surprises was to learn that the outlet stores have their own merchandise in many cases. What this means in a practical sense is that the merchandise sold at the outlet stores is made from lower quality materials than similar garments in the regular stores found in traditional shopping centers. Eddie Bower is a good example of this. The outlet sells inferior merchandise which I learned after the fact. When it comes to returns, you can now understand why a regular Nike store may not accept returns from a Nike outlet store. The merchandise isn’t the same and therefore cannot be sold at a regular store. The same thing is true of Nordstrom Rack. You cannot return Nordstrom Rack merchandise to a regular Nordstrom store. They are two different operations. For a pair of sweatpants, it wouldn’t be worth a 60-mile drive to refund something this inexpensive. The cost of gasoline would eat up much of your refund. There are two options here. One of them is mailing them back to the outlet store. I believe that may be okay, but I would call them first to confirm this one way or the other. The other option is to wash them in hot water and use a hot dryer to shrink them. Given what I know about the merchandise typically sold at the Camarillo Outlets, I imagine they would shrink a full size - if not even more.

I got letter from COACH that I can't buy their products anymore forever, they banned me. is it right?

AND YOUR REASON FOR USING ALL CAPS IS????

Yes, Coach is right and you are 100% wrong! Now stop screaming and listen. In order to sell Coach bags you must have Coach's permission and be licensed by them to be a retailer/seller of their products. Period and end of statement. If you were selling used or damaged bags it would be different but that's not what you're doing...so stop selling them before they drag your pocketbook through the mud. You lost your "JOB" because you thought you could make a hit from their merchandise...so, sorry....but it just isn't going to happen anymore. You do not have a right to re-sell their products, read the fine print, choose another product to sell and move on!

If my Coach bag is missing the serial #, is it fake?

Coach handbags have serial numbers, the only exceptions would be some of the smaller purses -example: the clutch, the swingpack and the mini and pouches.Wallets don't have them either. The serial number of small items are on the top part of the retail tag.Since you got it at the Coach Factory I wouldn't worry.

Hollister VS Hollister Outlet?

no they don't have the same selection, i have a hollister outlet near to my house. i've been there before, the hollister outlet has cheaper, older, hollister stuff, like for example during the summer you can find really cheap scarfs, and jackets and sweatpants and during the winter bathing suits and flip flops are pretty cheap.. also its stuff that didn't completely sell out in stores, after clothes go on clearance in the stores and then online, they go to the outlets. I really like the outlets because you can find some really cool older stuff from hollister and if you need a hard to find pants size they usually have it..

How do outlet stores make money?

Originally, outlet stores functioned to minimize losses for major brands. They sold obsolete/last season, overstocked, defective, returned, and lightly damaged products that could not be sold at retail prices. Now, they've evolved to become the defacto bargain brand division, selling brand new products. Rather than create a bargain brand, like Old Navy for The GAP, it's been easier to just make specific “only for outlet” product lines. The operating margins are just as rich since outlets operate in outskirt locations with very low rents and labor costs. Often, the outlet divisions outsell the original retail shops. While that’s great for the bottom-line in the short-term, the approach dilutes the perceived value of the brand name, something that the savvy European brand giant LVMH guards zealously. That's what is happening with Coach. About 60% of its total sales are through its outlets. Since the outlet locations sell Coach bags at 1/3–1/4 of retail, we can estimate that roughly 80% of all Coach bags by unit volume are sold through its outlets. This was a conscientious effort to squeeze short-term profits at the risk of losing all its brand equity. For 5 years, this worked and CEO Lew Frankfort got gigantic bonuses for “growth”, becoming one of the top 5 highest paid CEO. By 2014, the Coach brand had been completely trashed, and the board brought in LVMH veteran Victor Luis to stop the bleeding. However, it’s incredibly expensive and time consuming to rebuild. Coach is now resorting to desperate gimmicks to drive sales, like making a leather Mickey Mouse-shaped bag. Really?

Does Macy's sell fake Coach?

Hellloooo, I recently bought a Coach mini skinny from Macy's! When I compared it to the products on the official Coach website, though, I noticed that Coach didn't carry the color Macy's had:

I got mine in the black and grey.

ALSO when I purchased my mini skinny, the pattern was different. The cc's were lined up perfectly, but it's just that a different "section" of the fabric was used, so instead of the middle cc going side to side, the middle cc on my purse was going up and down.

Should I return it and buy it again from a Coach outlet?

Thanks!

A Vera Bradley question...?

You won't be able to return or exchange it at a store if you purchased from the outlet. The outlet usually carries discontinued patterns and styles. You should also check your receipt, you may not even be able to return it the outlet. In some cases all sales are final.
