You really do not have any choice in the matter, you can't sell the house without paying them in full. They might have agreed to a short sale, but you have stated that it sold for over the lien. This is cash money your father was paid on good faith, they are just asking for it back. I am like you, average person, pay my taxes like a good girl, resent my taxes not improving my country (better roads, better schools, MORE colleges) but instead goes to support lazy illegal aliens and people with their asses glued to a couch instead of working. However, that does not mean I throw my own morals away and start looking for ways to harm others. Screwing people over does not make you a "good capitalist" it just makes you a self centered jerk. You probably are not like that, just thinking about it, but I can tell you from my life experience, good people make very awful bad people, they do not have it in them and end up screwing themselves in the end.
My boyfriend got me fired? Guys and girls, need opinions?
I have been with my boyfriend four years, and he is a great boyfriend. Anyway we are both in college, and working, "well Im not anymore". I had a job at a restaurant as a waitress, I have been working about two months, mostly nights. Anyway my manager was a complete jerk. He would scream and cuss all of the waitresses and dishwashers, almost every day I worked. Well one night, he was really being a jerk to me, and anyway I came home crying. That pissed my boyfriend off, alot. It happened 2 more nights in a row, and the next night my boyfriend showed up at my job. When I saw him, I knew what was about to go down, so I tried to pull him to the side and say "don't do this Jay, it's not worth it", as I was trying to convince him not to do anything stupid, my manager started screaming at me saying "what the hell are you doing, you can **** on your own time". My boyfriend then follows him into the kitchen, and beats the hell out of him, I mean beat his ***, not only in the kitchen, drug him out back and did it again. Luckily the cops werent called, but I got fired, in exchange no charges get pressed. And my old coworkers say that the manager hasnt been a jerk lately. So girls what would you think of you boyfriend if he did this? Guy what would you do if your girlfriend was in this position?
Women, would you be offended to sign a prenup?
Hey, So I am a 29 year old surgeon and I will be marrying my fiance in a little under a year and I was wondering that if you gals would be offended to sign a prenup. I know some people with get worked up but let me present my argument. I make around 200k now and will make much more once I get into a specialty fellowship and I was lucky enough to have my parents pay for my medical school, so it's not an argument of a supporting me financially while I would normally be in debt situation. I love her with all of my heart but coming from a divorced family at a young age I am built to expect it cynically enough. I also know that she could say that it would be amicable but once again divorce changes people, and to roughly state, I am not working my a$$ off with long hours, stress, and education to lose half of it because a marriage has failed. IF it were to happen then I would make sure she would be taken care of and after being raised by a single mother with financial difficulties I would make sure our children would be extremely taken care of, but these are merely "ifs". As a surgeon I am thinking past the initial thought to all possibilites. I don't wish to get divorced before the marriage begins, but I don't want to get burned in X amount of years if I didn't take the initiative.
I am looking for the requirerments to get a degree in pychology?
4 years of undergraduate course work and about 4 years graduate course work.
