I Droped My Ipod In Snow.

I dropped my earbuds in snow, they work but shocked me what to do?

Stick them in a small bag of rice for a couple of days to let the rice draw the moisture out of them. Since there is no "circuit" in them, just a couple of wires on low voltage, you should be fine.

I dropped my Ipod and now it won't turn on!?

I dropped my Ipod on the hard wood Floor, but it has a big, rubber cover on it, so I thought it would be ok, but when i picked it up, it wouldn't turn on. The only way it will turn on is if it is plugged into the wall. It won't even turn on if it's plugged into my computer! And when it's plugged into the wall it only goes to the apple sign. Then I pressed both the top button and the home button and now it wants to reset, but in order to reset it, I have to plug it into my computer, but when I unplug it to plug it into my computer, it turns off and won't turn back on. HELP! This has happened before (about 2 months ago when I first got it used from my sister) but then it just started working again magically! I really need this to get fixed! Please help me!!

Dropped iPhone 4S in snow, speakers don't work how do I fix it?

Whether you've heard it from friends or family.....the rice trick does work.

For me I dropped my phone in the first week of having it down the toilet. I submerged my phone into a bag of rice and after 24 hours it worked. My friends have used the same method for water damage both iPhones and Blackberry's.

You could take the phone back to the store, however ive heard Apple Care dosent cover water damage.

Iphone dropped in the snow?! Won't turn on!!?

So my mom dropped her iPhone 4 in the snow at about noon (it's 5 now) and all day it worked then it slowly lost all sound. And now it will not even turn on. We can't just run to the apple store or Att store cuz there is not one around. Her phone is in rice right know. I'm hoping it will work when she goes to work. ANY OTHER OPIONS TO HELP ME??

I left my ipod in the snow all night. What shall i do?

that sucks =/ if you haven't tried turning it on, I'd suggest leaving it alone in a warmer dry place for a few hours and then cross your fingers and hope to god it at least turns on.

Dropped cell phone in a pond?

If someone finds it which depending on the depth of the pond there may be an extremely low chance of, they would have to take out the battery and but it in rice immediately. If they leave it in rice for a few days it may still be able to work depending on how long it was in the pond before it was found. It also depends on if the phone had a case on it or not. My friend lost her brand new iphone 5 in the snow outside her house a few months ago and two weeks later she found it. She had an outer box case on it so it ended up still working perfectly. Sorry to hear about your phone!

I dropped my charger in the toilet . Is it still safe to use?

Well, that depends. If it fell in for just a couple of seconds you might be lucky and very little or no water entered inside the charger. A complicating factor is urine contains salts from your body that could potentially short out the unit if you were to plug it in. Take a close look at the charger. Does it have obvious spaces or gaps where water can enter? If it does, you could try dunking it in clear water or preferably distilled water if available. Then shake out as much water as possible, pat dry with a towel then place it in a zip lock plastic bag with a desiccant pouch if you have one or a cup of dry white rice to absorb the remaining traces. Wait a couple of days. Then plug the charge into an AC outlet without connecting it to the device to be safe. If you don’t see smoke coming from the charger you are probably OK.

How Can I Fix My Literally "Frozen" Ipod Touch? It was buried in the snow for 2 days and my mom ran it over!..?

On accident I dropped my ipod touch in the snow without noticing it, I was looking for it and then two days later my mom found it on the road by the sidewalk, she ran over the left half of it and now every time I try to turn up the volume it automatically turns the volume down! (this happened repeatedly, I swear I honestly got into a fist fight with my Ipod.. -_-!)
About a half an hour later, my ipod was just flickering on and off like crazy! And it wouldn't let me shut it off! Then when I tried to connect it to my laptop using the USB cord, it kept saying, "This Ipod has malfunctioned," or "This device has not been identified," (Apple.. it's an APPLE IPOD TOUCH DAMMIT!)
How can I fix it? It seems like when I plug it into my laptop, it won't charge or sync!!!

Waaa!! Help!! I want it to be fixed soon!!! My Family Life Is waiting for mee!! Plus my friend got it for me for Christmas... I swear she's going to kill me... D,: Help! ;) :O

Why do people get iPod touch if they already have iPhone?

Here's perhaps the best reason I can think of off the top of my head: Suppose you use your phone a lot for calls and/or texting and your job requires you to be available all the time AND you travel a lot. If you are a busy person, you probably don't want to be bothered by constantly recharging your phone. You can minimize the drain on the iPhone's battery by not using it for listening to music and using an iPod Touch instead. You could even use the iPod Touch for things like FaceTime or Skype, FaceBook, etc. Just turning off bluetooth and wifi on your iPhone and using the iPod Touch instead will practically double the battery life.
