I Feel Ashamed That I Want To Loose Weight .

Why cant I stay motivated to lose weight ?

You need to make it feel like a normal routine for you, don't do exercises you hate, don't eat foods you hate (make it healthy stuff you like)...

In the words of the amazing Shay Carl on youtube from his "Shayloss" channel

He hates doing exercises like running in public etc because those are boring to some people, ways to make yourself motivated (I know this sounds wierd) but you can even dance to your favorite music in your own privacy! It works! it'll work a lot of your muscles!

Also, try making like a journal that makes you stay motivated, like a list of what you need to do everyday, and don't do anything without checking if you did your health notes like minutes of exercise per day!

Music: Music can help you do things while not even realizing your doing them, exercising with music will make it feel like you're not exercising, but instead just doing something while listening to your favorite music!, after the first week (the stepping stone) this should start feeling like a normal routine for you.

Oh yeah...DO NOT FOCUS ON THE WORD CALORIES....it's nothing but a number, it even drives people insane because that's all they focus on...if you want to be healthy, eat healthy, don't think about how many calories you need to eat, think about if you're eating healthy that's all you need to do. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits..you can eat very tasty salads (with your own homemade dressings, look up how to make homemade healthy dressings) ...oh yeah, protein helps burn fat as well (when you grow muscles, muscles burn fat) ...always try to eat a small portion of protein with every meal you eat ( a few nuts like almonds etc can give protein! )

I want to exercise and lose weight, but I'm too embarrassed to run outside or go to the gym. What can I do instead?

You can do very very hard ,work and running ,swimming, jogging,yoga,and full body yoga everyday and follow healthy diet chart and you should go to gym Everyday morning and evening You can eat only 2 meal per day .Remember the real workout starts when you want to give up! work hard until you sweat a bucket.you should wake up at 6:00AM and do yoga in house for 1-2 hour everyday and you can jogging 1-2 hour early morning everyday.warm water 1 tbsp honey everyday 1 glassDon’t fast food and junk food .warm water and take 1 lemon's juice and take a pinch salt add these and drink in early morning Everyday.Everyday bottle groud juice.Everyday drink lot of water .You can drink vegetable juiceYou can eat boiled carrot. I'm ashamed of my weight?

You have to change your lifestyle, and it does take time, so don't get discouraged if you don't see quick results right away.
A good HEALTHY diet will have you lose 1 lb a week, and even though it doesn't seem like much, that's 52lbs in a year!

start eating very healthy, watch the calories (like in weight watchers), no sodas, no junk food, etc
and be active... walk, swim, run, do aerobics, play sports if you can, dance, etc

That's a wonderful weight for you height. You are beautiful just the way you are. Do not let the photoshopped women in the magazines define you. 147 pounds is not fat. 300+ is fat, or obese. There is nothing to be ashamed of. I am the same age, 5'1" and weigh roughly 150 pounds. For my BMI (body mass index) that is technically slightly overweight. You really want to knock of a couple pounds? Eat healthy. Take some walks. Stop eat junk food. Just eat food that makes you actually feel better, stuff that gives you energy. Not guilty pleasures like cake and ice cream; the sugar high only lasts so long. You are fine just the way you are. Honestly you don't need to loose any weight. You don't need to impress anyone, only yourself. Please realize this, you are fine the way you are.

Can you motivate me to lose weight?

How can I get over feeling ashamed of my mother?

I care about her and wouldn't like anything to happen to her.
We live in different cities and I must admit I like to keep her out of my personal life (she wants to meet my friends my boyfriends etc and I don't want to introduce her because I am ashamed of her and have been for a long time.). She is a kind person but she is over-weight (always has been) and I suppose I have always been angry with her that she has never had the willpower to lose weight, look after herself and find a boyfriend !!! Now that she is retired and getting older I feel as though she is more and more demanding. She calls me 4 times a week (at least). I always answer and speak to her because I don't want her feeling alone but on the other hand as I am ashamed of her, I don''t want her getting to know my friends / boyfriends like she would like ...
I almost feeling like asking her to go and find a few new hobbies, a boyfriend and stop being so concentrated on my life. I know I must be selfish person to feel this way but I can't help my feelings of anger which come from the facr that she has never really taken care of herself (and just concentrates everything on me, her ONLY child!!!). Now that I am pregnant it is even worse. I feel like she is going to move in if she has the chance... Take control of my life and my baby (I am single).
What should I do to STOP these feelings of resentment that I have for her...???
Please help. I feel guilty about feeling this way... :(

How do I live life while in the process of losing weight? I cant leave my house because I m afraid of people seeing me while i m still fat?

I have been both obese and severely underweight and one thing I discovered was that people in general are not bothered by what size others are, okay there will always be a few who look or comment but most people are too busy living their lives and doing things to care or pay attention.

I am still battling anorexia recovery and small but have gained weight from my lowest and I used to freak out thinking everyone would notice, I spent days hiding at home just because I was bloated because I didn’t want people to see me but I couldn’t go on like that and just went out, no one paid any attention whatsoever.

You can’t hide away wasting your life like this, I certainly don’t look at other people when I’m out and even consider their size, I was out earlier and saw lots of people and I can’t even remember what size they were, people mostly just don’t care.

Getting out will do you good too, brisk walks are great for weight loss and everyone needs fresh air, being stuck inside will just make you miserable and even more unhappy.

You need to stop worrying about what others think anyway but believe me mostly they really don’t think about it at all.

I feel fat and ashamed going out in public!?

I can't believe your mother is trying to convince you to have gastric bypass and you're only an 8th grader! You are way too young for the procedure and I doubt any doctor would do it unless your are morbidly obese. At your age your body with take to a new regime quickly, your metabolism is at the fastest it will ever be and you would definately be able to lose weight in time for the start of your new semester if you work hard. Cut out all excess salts, sugars and fats, eat plenty of fruit and veg and drink 2-3 liters of water every day. Walk for about an hour every day and work-out three times a week (squash is great, or you could try dancing or get a work-out video like tae bo.) A little tip is to stick pictures of super skinny celebrities who you would aspire to be like around your room as a reminder and DO NOT weigh yourself or measure yourself often. Once a month is plenty! Cut out gum as it will make you bloat, eat little and often and when you feel hungry, force yourself to walk out the door and keep busy. Prepare your own meals because psychologically you will eat less. Good luck!
