I Fell On My Face During Cheer

Who agrees Cheerleading is harder than Football?

I think cheerleading is much harder than football is a way. My twin brother plays football. I cheer. So, I know both expeiences technically. Okay, so yes football you have tons of practices and you get hit, spit on, and you run a lot. Oh waaaaa. You at least have pads on and are in control of your life. I also am a flyer. And, it's hard having your life in someone elses hands. I have been dropped many times. And, not alwasy on a mat either. I went through a week of hard-core cheer camp, and I bet it was harder than any football camp!!! And, we don't have anything to help us when we fall, we can only hope that next time the bases catch us. So, honestly, cheerleading is harder than football. Hands down. My brother comes in sore and dirty, but sometimes I come home with a sprained wrist or ankle. And in games, all you do is throw a football.
There has been more cheerleading deaths/injures than in footbll. I haven't heard of one football player dying in football, but I have heard of a cheerleader being dropping. . .and it didn't turn out well.
Cheerleading is definitely harder than football!!!!!!!

How to get rid of a rug/mat burn on face? How long will it take to go away?

Yesterday at cheer practice I was doing a roundoff back handspring tuck and I thought I was going to hit someone next to me so I freaked out while I was upside down and I fell on my face. I'm fine but there's a red mark in between my eyebrows and I have a really big competition tomorrow. How can I make it less red and eventually go away faster?!?!

HELP my best guy friend fell face first into mud how do I cheer him up?

Hi! Ok so me and my guy friend is super nice, supportive and sweet. We both graduated high school together and go to different colleges. His school is 25 minutes away from mine by train so I invited him up. He came and we went to this park by the beach. He wanted to go down the to the beach so we did. I stepped on the sand and noticed it wasn't sand it was really thick mud. So I stepped out and cleaned my shoe off. Well guys being guys my guy friend kept walking further and eventually he was ankle deep in mud. I told him to come back before he gets all dirty so he did. He was literally like sloshing through yeh mud and apperantly his shoe fell off and got burrowed in the mud. Well he wasn't happy about that so he shoved him hand in the mud looking for his shoe. This is when I knww thing weren't gonna go well. I told him to forget about it before he gets covered in mud he said I don't care as long As it's not his face. He kept digging through the mud and got his shoe but as he was pulling the laces out he tripped and completely face planted into the mud. That's the gist of it but he's really upset because he lost his shoe and his face is caked in mud along with his hair. Any ideas to make him feel better he's not allowed to come into the dorm building either because he's a guest and completely muddy. We are currently at another park trying to figure out a way to clean him up please help with any ideas! Guys are idiots /:

What did your pet do to cheer you up?

Honestly, I cheer up watching my cats do anything. Bouncing around like deranged overgrown fleas, chasing and expertly catching their own tails, sleeping, grooming each other. Their very existence depletes my stress and makes every day so much better. As for something they've done with the intent of cheering me up? One day, I was working a long shift at my job. It requires a lot of standing, and my feet usually hurt by the end of the day, but on this day in particular, my outer left foot was in searing pain. I had recently bought a new pair of shoes, this was only my third or fourth day wearing them, so my first thought was perhaps they were defective. Eventually, I couldn't take it anymore so I excused myself to the restroom, where I removed my left shoe and saw that I had been standing on a qtip for so long it was embedded in my sock. Now, I might have been furious about this, but I knew the second I saw it that my super fluffy Blue, BINKY, had found this magic stick that was so wonderful and so much fun that he knew he must share it with his super stressed out human mom, bringer of the food and scratcher of the belly. So he put it in the one place that he knew I would find it. And my foot still hurt, but it did cheer me up.

Can you pop a cherry by stretching as in stretches like splits and heel stretches and scorpions?

Honey, it is true your hymen can tear that way, or you can stretch it so much that it is no longer an obstacle when you are ready for sex.

However, I wouldn't refer to it as popping your cherry. You are still a virgin until you have intercourse for the first time, But if you do tear or stretch your hymen during cheer practice, one benefit is that your first time will probably be more comfortable.

Don't worry about what exercise might do, honey, but don't try to use exercise to break your hymen. I hope this helps.

What are some good poems to cheer up?

This one is my favourite.***Don't Quit***byJohn Greenleaf WhittierWhen things go wrong as they sometimes will,When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,When the funds are low and the debts are highAnd you want to smile, but you have to sigh,When care is pressing you down a bit,Rest if you must, but don't you quit.Life is strange with its twists and turnsAs every one of us sometimes learnsAnd many a failure comes aboutWhen he might have won had he stuck it out;Don't give up though the pace seems slow—You may succeed with another blow.Success is failure turned inside out—The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,And you never can tell just how close you are,It may be near when it seems so far;So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit—It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Cheerleading accident: pain in head, neck and upper back. Please help?

This is my first year cheerleading and I am really tiny so I am usually a flyer but because I am strong they used me as a base. Today during practice I was basing a lib and the flyer fell during the extension right on top of my head and we both fell. I had immediate neck pain but kept basing. I Iced my back and it has been 4 hours and now my head is hurting. I don't know if i should get checked out or not? I haven't thrown up and I can see fine but I am super tired and it hurts to move my head fast or move it down. WHAT SHOULD I DO??
