I Get So Hungry At Night

Why do i get so hungry at night?

i eat mini meals all day. and im trying to lose my last 10 pounds, however, when night time roles aorund, after my last meal, 5:00, im hungry. not growling tummy hungry just have an urge to eat, like i won't be okay till i eat. and i end up eating alot too. my downfall is eating at night. but this doesn't happen every night.
is their a way that i can prevent this from happening?
or does anyone know why this happens?
should i eat more during the day?
im so confused :(

Why do I get hungry at night?

I have no problem eating healthy in the mornings and afternoons but late at night I get hungry/increased appetite.
Pre AM Workout Breakfast: Kale and fruit salad
Post AM Workout Breakfast: Protein shake, yogurt, cottage cheese
(AM Workout= Cardio Dance)
Lunch/Dinner: Mixed veggie salad, 1 cup of wheat pasta, ground turkey/tomato sauce
(PM Workout=Zumba Strength and Tone)
2nd Protein Shake after PM workout
Water with every meal and during workouts

Why do I get hungry at night?

I was wondering out loud why I get more hungry at night than during the day.My brother, who was sitting beside me told me that he knew the precise reason for my persistent night-time gluttony. At first I ignored him but later curiosity got the better of me and I asked him about his theory.He explained that during the prehistoric times, when our ancestors who lived in caves used to go to hunt/search for food during the daytime. So they returned to their caves in the evening and cooked the food. Subsequently they ate their most sumptuous meals at night when the meat was fresh.In the morning they probably consumed the leftovers that we can infer weren't in abundance along with something like berries or fruits. Their afternoons were mostly spent in hunting for food so no big, hearty meals there either.Therefore, my pre-historic instincts dictate that I feel the most hungry at night.I don't know whether this theory is true or not, but it sounded pretty convincing to me. My brother is either very smart or has a very active imagination.

Why I am so hungry late at night?

It is 1:28 am right now and I usually go to bed at 4:00 am.
I always feel really hungry at night mostly but also in the day and I ate quite a bit (normal amount of food) today
I usually don't have breakfast, but I if I do it is not a very good one cause I wake up late. anyways why am I constantly always feeling hungry? I gained like 10 lbs in a year and that is not normal for me.

Why am i not hungry at night?

Eating a lot of fat like you do, will defiantly make you less hungry. If you've ever drank coconut milk or something like that, you'll know eating large amounts of fat will fill you up quickly. Try eating better! It honesty makes everything better; your hair, skin, nails, body, stamina, EVERYTHING!

It's 11 o'clock at night, and I'm hungry!?

go to bed then you dont have to think about it
or you can drink water or eat some fruit

Why do I get so hungry late at night?

Seriously, every night I'm always starving. This is way after dinner at around 11 or 12 o clock. And I always give in to my hunger. I'll go into the kitchen and raid the fridge and just eat whatever I can find. Its usually like cheese, crackers, popcorn, nuts, chips. I always crave salty things. I feel like this is so bad for me.

This habit started this summer because I was always up really late since I never had to get up early, and I guess out of boredom I'd just eat. Now I'm home for the semester (I took a semester off from college) and my summer habits are back and worse than ever.

How can I stop doing this? I'm wide awake all night and can't stop eating! I'm not fat by the way. So if you're picturing some chubster raiding the fridge everynight, just don't! I'm skinny, my metabolism's super fast, but at this rate I'm going to be obese soon! Please help me fix this! Why am I so hungry in the middle of the night?
