What's going on with my piercing?Also,is all body jewelry made of surgical steel?
surgical steel doesn't work with everyones bodies. i know i can't wear anything but 14-24k. i have my nose done, as well as my tragus, belly button, tongue and 9 regular ear piercings and i can't wear anything but gold because my body reacts to anything that is NOT gold. i know piercing pagoda sells things like that, most of their stuff is gold plated tho, and im not sure about the 'silver' they have. i do know, however, some places offer acryllics for piercings. sometimes there are kiosks in malls and they have a bunch. or just go to a reputable piercer and get something authentic from them. they will know(or i should say, SHOULD know) exactly whats going on and what you need. hope i could help!!
12 weeks pregnant. Stomach hurts when I walk?
This has been going on for a good month or so. When I walk for a while like at walmart or the mall my stomach starts hurting, like round ligament pains and I have to stop and take breaks. Is this normal, has anyone else experienced this?
Swollen cartilage piercing no pain?
Might be infected. It happened to me with my tragus and i had to get "tea tree oil" at a nutrient/organic store because the swollen part can keep growing and you might have to get surgery so go to the closest tattoo shop to get it checked.
Can you take your piercing out if you only had it for 2 days?
Figuratively, yeah, you can. Nothing’s stopping you. I, however, wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re replacing it with another earring because of an allergic reaction.I myself only switched out earrings because the sterling silver or whatever they normally use was slowing my healing process in both my upper lobes and my helix piercing (though, the latter never healed and thus I no longer have it). I can wear sterling silver earrings now that they’ve healed, but for whatever reason, my ears only really healed once I switched them out for surgical steel earrings.Now if that’s not the reason and you just want to take them out for a bit and then put them back in, I really wouldn’t. You’ve just punctured two holes in your skin. Your body is trying to heal. I believe the normal reccommended wait time is six to eight weeks. Two days is nowhere near that!Taking them out now can run the risk of making it harder to heal. Inside your ear is tender, freshly wounded, and you could hurt your ear further when you put it back in. Not only that, but I believe that most piercings that aren’t healed yet start to close up after about an hour. That may not be accurate but I do know it’s insanely fast — and putting piercings back in is going to hurt.So in short: I don’t recommend it on personal experience unless you’re replacing it for a reaction.

Since my top bellybutton piercing got rejected, will a bottom (lower part of bellybutton)piercing do the same?
Yes, belly button piercings are "surface" piercings which are generally an advanced piercing and have extended healing periods compared to many other standard piercings. Top or bottom makes no difference. Try a larger gauge, smaller gauges are more prone to rejection, I would put money that you didn't have large enough jewelery in there, you can down size after completely healing (see your piercer about this), also make sure to use only high quality surgical stainless steel jewelery and do sea salt soaks 2-3 times a day, put NOTHING ELSE on or in it regardless of what anyone tells you, never get soap in it in the shower (don't take baths while your healing your piercing), don't play with it, including rotating while cleaning, always wear clean shirts. Wear a clean over sized T to bed and try to keep your sheets cleaned often. Go to a real piercing studio with a good reputation, not some place at the mall. good luck!

Which method is best for cleaning a belly button piercing? I was told to use sea salt, but not sure on the direct method do i soak it so i put it on? I'm confused. Please help. Thanks. Does this go for tragus piercings too?
