Coming from Google, Android is so open. But why is Chrome OS so restricted?
You've got something wrong. Android is open on paper but Google is doing everything to make it as closed as it can. Many essential apps that are part of Google's Android are not open and the number is growing. Google even moves more and more APIs to the closed source (Google Play API). Also you can count in that there is a gap between when Google releases its new Android and make it open.So, coming from Google Android is not open - Google is just a company that wants to earn the most money it can just like any other company in the world (nothing wrong with that, just wrong with people spreading false facts).

Is Google evil.......?
Yes, they are an advertising compony so they love to learn all about you. You see all queries from google.com are stored in a database and connected to you. Ic you use chrome becuse they merged the search and URL bar google knows every website you go to. If you don't use chrome and you go to a site with google ads then google knows you were there too. If you use android they have all knods of personal information about you, think about it how much information is on you phone? Google scans all emails you receive in a gmail account looking for information about you. Google scans all google chats too. There is much much more that I could talk about but well I don't have all day, however If your going off of this google / apple location data thing tho you don't have anyhitng to worry about. All location information for both are annomysed.
WIFI says not in range on Android tablet?
My toddler has a Big Nabi Tab. She was watching The Garfield Show on Youtube when the video suddenly froze. I restarted the tablet several times and the same thing kept happening. I then did a factory reset and now I'm at the part where I have to enter the WIFI info. After I did, it keeps saying that it's out of range. How does my son's tablet (same one) work, computer works, but not hers? I have to even go through Chrome to use Youtube. If I go directly to Youtube or download Google Play, everything will freeze. I hate these Android tablets. Anyone know how I can fix this WIFI issue that says out of range? I'm not very good with technology, so if anyone knows, can you explain in baby language lol... step by step. Thanks a bunch! :)
