I Hate This New Look I Can Not Delete Messages All At Once Or Can Someone Help Me

If I were to message someone who's not my friend on Facebook using the Messenger app, would they get the notifications on their phone even if they don't have messenger?

Previously the message would hop into the Others folder which was usually considered a graveyard. No one ever looks into that even when I went into it for first time I was amazed that I had like 39 messages from others users. Besides Now, I can see that facebook has added a new feature and whenever you receive a new message you will get a notification saying "You have a new message request" so you can easily look into and its your wish to accept or to decline that message. So I would suggest you to send him a message again now and It will surely be seen by him and if he does not reply then stop stalking him. Hoping that would clear your doubts.

How do I delete someone from messenger app?

In Messages app, can you delete messages that you sent to someone so that they can't see it anymore?

Michael Vogel Is entirely correct — once you hit the "Send" button the iMessage is committed to being sent to Apple's servers as long as your device has a data connection. There's no simple way to cancel it even at this point. Even if you delete the message from the conversation thread — even if it is still in the process of being sent —your iOS device will still attempt to send it out in the background. Deleting a message only deletes your local copy of the message. About the only way to cancel an outgoing iMessage is to force it to fail to send before it finishes sending. For instance, if you were to kick your iOS device into Airplane Mode fast enough — basically immediately after hitting the "Send" button before it can send the message to Apple's servers — the message should eventually fail to send (this can still take a few minutes before iOS gives up, even in Airplane Mode). At this point, unless you choose to resend it manually, it won't be delivered to the recipient, regardless of whether you keep the local copy on your iPhone or remove it. See Can I cancel or ‘unsend’ sent iMessages? for more details.

How do I deal with someone close to me blocking me on WhatsApp and Facebook?

Blocking people on social media is a very rude treatment which can not be tolerated. It is VERY HOSTILE. Without internet and social media, this could be referred to as the boycott or total rejection. I feel very sorry for you and your friend is definitely very rude. It's like showing a middle finger to the person offline and rejecting him further. Also, blocking people can be a big emotional abuse, therefore it can lead the one being blocked to depression or other mental diseases. But what I can tell you is: NEVER listen to people who tell you to "move on with your life" etc, if you are trying to reconcile. IGNORE all the people who think that you deserved to be blocked. Block him (and them?) as well, and try to defend yourself as much as you can. Talk to other people (including friends) about what happened, but never discuss it right after you met, since they might be perceiving you as like you're complaining. If he will suddenly unblock you, write to him about what happened, and explain him how you feeled, and block again. Once he will complain to others about being blocked, unblock him. Moving on with your life, if it comes to relationship solving, is impractical and can only divert than relieve you. And people don't have any justifications for their reasons, since they came up with them themselves.Next time, let the people be nice to each another, and not block anyone!!!

What does it mean if your boyfriend deletes all his text messages?

My boyfriend of 8 months never deletes all his text messages, as his phone automatically deletes the last message to let a new one in. However, yesterday all his messages, inbox and sents, were all deleted. Does this mean he's probably been texting other girls he doesn't want me to know about?

Do you hate the new style of messaging on Quora as much as I do, with it’s new lack of paragraph spacing and delete option?

I find it very annoying, and just the other side of stupid. I believe it was intentional, to discourage people from engaging in non-public discourse.Further, you can no longer embed images, but I believe that aspect is a worthwhile trade off if it means no user will ever again be harassed by the receipt of uninvited and unwelcome images in a private message. The only work arounds for the paragraph spacing and deleting features that I am aware of are to use a Shift+return, or to first compose your message in a text editing program, or even an email draft, then copy & paste. It is my understanding from messaging with someone who can still do all those things is that users still running an older version of the app on their mobile are not affected by these limitations. That may have changed since the time we discussed it, but I would not know either way, as I only use Quora on desktop PCs.
