I Have 4 Movie Ideas Can You Read Them And Tell Me What You Think

Do you read the reviews about a movie before deciding whether to watch it or not?

Of course!First of all, paying for something without knowing anything about it is pretty stupid.Yes, I could have just watched a trailer, but that’s essentially the same thing as a movie review - you are finding something out about the movie before you even watch it. There’s not much difference in the long run - parts of the movie are spoiled for you whether you watch trailers or not. There’s also the fact that even average movie trailers often make the mistake of spoiling the entire movie in the trailer, so if we consider that, the playing field becomes even more level. The only way to avoid spoilers entirely is to simply pick a movie and avoid finding out anything about it, other than the bare minimum required to get you into the seat. However, this is unwise primarily because of my second of all: if you’re afraid of spoilers in a movie review, you are simply picking the wrong reviews and the wrong reviewers. When you begin relying on something, you need it to be reliable. So if you are reliant on a spoiler-free movie review to tell you whether a movie is worth going to see in theaters, you expect the movie review to actually be…y’know, spoiler-free. In light of that, you ought to pick movie critics you trust who won’t ruin shit for you.Personally, whenever I want a summation of whether I should watch something or not without having the whole thing ruined for me, I go watch Jeremy Jahns, . It’s worked out thus far.I really should have more than just one movie critic on the list of people I watch for spoiler-free reviews (so one person’s opinion doesn’t dominate my decisions), but thus far I haven’t found more than one critic I trust, so here we are.

I've got an epic idea for a movie. Isn't there any way I can give it a fighting chance?

Is it a good idea to read a book if I have already seen the movie?

As per my concern it is totally ok to read the book after watching the movie.it will help you to understand the character as well the story. books always have more narration that you can enjoy more than a movie. so, it's totally good to read book after watching a movie.I'm describing more reasons for that!1. COMPARISONBy far, one of the biggest reasons to #read books after watching the movies all boils down to comparison. While I am not huge on comparing books to movies (because books always seem to win!), you can compare the author's descriptions, you can see how well the movie did in really bringing the book to life and you can note all of the small, subtle #things that didn’t make it into the movie. Sometimes, it’s best! For example, there are some characters in the Harry Potter books that didn’t make it into the movies, but I still thought the movies were stellar.2. INTERESTWhen you see the movie before you read the book, you’ll be able to tell if you are interested in the book at all.3. VISUALIZATIONWhile a lot of book-lovers argue that you should be using your imagination when you are reading and I agree, I also think that seeing the characters in the movie is a great visualization too.4. YOU’LL UNDERSTAND THE STORY MORESometimes, books can be a #little bit confusing, especially in the descriptions, and it can be just really hard to visualize exactly what the author is talking about. That won’t happen when you are watching a movie – because you are watching it! So you’ll be able to understand the story more, see what the author was trying to get across and really ‘get’ the entire book more.5. YOU’LL NOTICE DIFFERENCESyou will notice differences in the movies versus the books6. TYPICALLY MORE DETAIL IN BOOKthe book might have more details, but that's okay and it's one of the reasons why you can read the book after seeing the movie! The movie will grab up your attention and will really make you want to #read the book to see what details were left out!7. RE-IMAGINING THE BOOKThe movie might have to change a little and differ from the book. In a 2 or 3 hour movie you can not put all the things what is in the book.

The Road - should i read the book or watch the movie?

The book is always better, but Cormac can be hard to take - his style takes a bit of getting used to and can be hard for some people to follow, and even avid readers are likely to be consulting the dictionary every now and then. Personally, I think he's a fantastic writer and the Road is one of his more accessible novels so if you can't keep up with it you won't keep up with anything he writes. I'd say try the book first, and if you can't get into it, go with the movie - just keep in mind the movies are rarely faithful to the books.

Which option do you prefer : reading books or viewing movies based on them?

Hi there, thanks for asking. Of course I have to say “it depends” but as one who has watched a lot of movies and a lot of directors commentaries and read few books I would say, according to my own personal opinion, 4 out of 5 times its better to read becauseThe quality of acting and story telling has been dropping to disheartening levels for decades now. This is even measurable, as demonstrated in a video by Paul Joseph Watson in YouTube some years ago.Books only have to get past a publisher and not an entire studio crew so there is much more room for spontaneity and original thinking. You can have morals in books that don't exist in movies b/c studios need mass appeal.Books make you think in ways that movies don't usually trigger.Reading gives a quicker wit to the mind then movies which produce a sort of numbed brain effect. Which is not inherently bad.You can read anywhereReading chases away bad people. I once was having lunch with 4 dudes and I started talking about one of my favorite books “the richest man in Babylon” and one said “GAAAAAY I'm going to the bar.” one guy followed him, and the other two asked questions. The topic quickly changed but it's not as though I was being a buzzkill. We were talking about money which is what the book talks about via several short touching stories.Movie actors such as will Smith and Morgan Freeman have said in interviews things like “writers, directors, and actors only become great if they read great books” and “actors that stand the tests of time are those that read enough stories to design a sort of universal appeal that speaks to all generations and experiences in the roles they play.”I could go on but I'll end with saying I really love movies, and if you want some great story telling check out Brick or Primer, for great acting Ben Hur or A Man For All Seasons, for great style try Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy or the god fatherHope this helps manCheers buddy

What movie can you watch over and over and never get tired of? I need ideas for good movies.

Star Wars, any of them except for the Phantom Menace. They are action packed, along with strategy, romance, humor, amazing actors/actresses (such as Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and more).Princess Bride. This movie transcends all time. It has everything. Drama, comedy, action, romance, thriller, you name it. Without spoiling the movie, there's not much I can say, except it is a must watch. As always in this conversation, you have got to think about the kind of movie. What kind of movie do you like?Comedy: anything with Adam Sandler pretty much, I mean, honestly, he's the king. But also hit up some great Eddie Murphy movies.Action: you can't go wrong with the Bourne series. They have some repetitive aspects to them, but this is Matt Damon at his finest.Horror: go with this hehe classic Excorcist. Honestly the more times you watch it the more creepy it gets as you begin to understand different aspects of it.Romance: yikes. Don't watch too many of these, but I'd honestly say a modernized Shakespeare off of the Taming of The Shrew. It has Heath Ledger in it (and you can't go wrong with Batman so…) and is just a great movie. I can't think of the name of it, but if you look it up, great movie.Sci-fi: Star Wars all the way!!! And if you're into such heresy: Star Trek the new ones. Lol.Marvel/DC: Really in my opinion the TV shows are better. Arrow, Flash, etc. But if you don't mind raunchy but hillarious, go with Deadpool. It's got the whole range of what makes a great super hero/anti hero movie, as well as possibly the most hilarious movie ever made. If not into such things, a family friendly bunch of movies is the Spider-Man movies with Toby McGuire. On and on the list goes.

Idea about film 300 ? please reply if you know a litte about history. thanks?

I just loved 300!! I used to say GLADIATOR was my favorite film but now I love 300 more! What an awesome movie! I was fascinated every minute! The script, the costumes and sets, the music, everything was just PERFECT!!!

I was most impressed by the action scenes, they were choreographed very nicely and looked pretty realistic. (OK, OK, the arterial spurt was wrong, there wasn't enough gushing blood and no sword, no matter how sharp, stays sharp long enough for you to hack that many people to death but let's overlook little details like that, OK?)

I own swords and I know it's not easy to swing those babies for long, you really have to be in good shape and these guys really looked it! Like real warriors not the weekend warrior type. I mean, you could believe that they'd been training as warriors since they were kids. I know people say it's all digitally enhanced but I don't care. It looked pretty real when it needed to look real.

OK, there was some gratuitous nudity (young "oracle" in flimsy gown, the Queen of Sparta flashing flesh, the king and queen in the bedchamber) to keep the young, testosterone laden men interested until the carnage but I guess that's only fair as we women were treated to the sight of all these buff guys in skimpy war outfits.

The bad guys were suitably bad, LOL! It cracks me up to see the people posting here at YA that are saying it's an anti-Iranian film or whatever. It's fiction for Pete's sake and it's a good story!! It was told from the viewpoint of a survivor, someone who came back to Sparta and told the story. Of course there will be embellishments!

Ah, but it wasn't just a good story, it was just a spectacular feast for the eyes in many respects and was very inspiring. It was a story about duty and loyalty, courage and honor. Who doesn't like that?

No question, 300 is the best movie of 2007 so far. I've seen several: WILD HOGS, 23, GHOST RIDER, CATCH & RELEASE, MUSIC & LYRICS, DEAD SILENCE.... um, some other horror flick whose name I can't even remember now... in fact, several movies that I can't name now because they were so mundane but 300 is awesome! I'll buy it on DVD as soon as it comes out.
