I Have A Need To Change My Cscart Platform To Prestashop.

Is it worth buying CS-Cart? Or can I go with Prestashop?

Full disclosure: I work at PrestaShop. Not knowing what you plan is or what skills you have, it's not easy to answer your question. You're going to launch an online store and your margins are going to be low, which means that every dollar is going to count; in this regard, the only reason you should pay for your Ecommerce solution is if it makes coffee for you, washes your dishes, takes the dog for a walk and flies you to the moon.I could tell you that PrestaShop has more features than any other Ecommerce software in the world but the truth is, there's more to it than meet the eye: being free and open source, PrestaShop is backed up by a Community of 700,000 (and counting) and that's the real value right there.PrestaShop already powers 200,000 stores in the world and was voted best Ecommerce solution for SMB's and Entreprise in 2014. The Winner of the 2014 People's Choice CMS Award for Best eCommerce Solution for SMBThe Winner of the 2014 People's Choice CMS Award for Best eCommerce Solution for EnterpriseTry it! It's free... what harm can it do? :)

After a very unpleasant experience with Prestashop (serious constant bugs and 0 support) I would like to switch to Shopify or Volision, which is the best and most cost efficient?

Hmm, that is a first,Prestashop is one of the most stable open source carts. I have done custom implementations in quite a few (Opencart, Magento, Prestashop, CS-Cart, Woo commerce etc) and right now there is no free direct alternative to Prestashop. That being said, you might wanna take a look at something like CS-Cart, which has a free basic version and a full paid one. Being a commercial solution they do offer paid support, so if quickness of response/support is that important for you it might be what you are looking for.

Which one is better for an online jewelry store with a marketplace: OpenCart, Magento or CS-Cart?

Hi,If you are still looking for an option then would like to add that every e-commerce platform has its own significance. It totally depends on what your budget and requirement are actually. Considering any open source paltforms, like magento, opencart ,CS-Cart etc. the source code is readily available, which seems to be advantageous but the important thing is, server needs to be maintained at your end. As the speed of the website, the load time and many other things depends on the server that you maintain.I would personally recommend CS-Cart, an affordable and extremely user friendly open source e-commerce platform. It is flexible and highly customizable PHP shopping cart software with lots of great features to manage online business with maximum ease and comfort. Its powerful product management allows you to add and arrange your jewellery products in no time and manage product options, features, and filters easily. It provides an eye catching online store with the in built themes. Its in-built features makes it unique in itself. You can also enhance the functionalities of this platform by various add-ons which are easily available at CS-Cart marketplace CS-Cart Addons & Themes.

Which e-commerce marketplace solution is better: CS-Cart multivendor or Magento with a marketplace extension?

As per our experience working with lot of eCommerce clients having multi-vendor system. We have tried building with various Open Source solutions out there, such as Magento, Opencart, CS-Cart.Out of them all we would always suggest Cs-Cart if one is planning to build a multi-vendor system. As it provides a highly robust and the basic structure and functionality required to build a full fledget multi-vendor system.Problem with other Shopping carts is that they are tailor made only for Single vendor eCommerce, though they have plugins available but using plugins it cause lot of conflicts. While working at Onjection Solutions, we have worked with lot of clients with multi-vendor system which at the end settled at CS-Cart and now processing thousands of orders smoothly. Some of the things you need to consider while getting a Multi-vendor marketpace sytem done from anywhere:-KYC(Know your customers) for Vendors.- Vendor Information(Pan Card, Tin number)- Bank Details(for Payouts)- Vendor Documents(For verification)- Agreement (Marketplace agreement)Complete Shipping Automation:-Order Fulfillment by VendorsMultiple Courier Integration(Such as Bluedart, Delhivery, Fedex, Aramex etc )Tracking number assignmentPrint Shipping labels and invoicesManifest CreationVendor Ratings and Reviews:-Vendor Payment/Payouts:-Admin can set commission Category wiseAdmin can set TP(Transfer price) product wise for deal productsReport sfor vendors for payment weekly/ 3 daysOrder wise show Payment statusPayment according to returnsVendor Catalogue Management:-Sell from existing products and categories- Vendor can sell from existing products- Vendor can create new product.Vendor can change price and inventory of productsAnd lot of other things.
