My best friend has been really mean to me lately?
It feels like she has been dropping me for her like guy friends. She says really hurtful things to me, and I have good comebacks, but I don't want to hurt her feelings. For example: At her birthday party, she completely embarrassed me. I got there a little late, so everyone was there. She said, " Ew! Why are you here! I didn't invite you!" and she got everyone to say booooo! you stink! I knew she was kidding, but it really hurt my feelings! Im very sensitive, and no one knows this about me. Even though she was kidding, it was embarrassing! not too long ago, I still had little accidents when sleeping. She was the only person I trusted with this secret. At her birthday party, two other girls slept over as well as me, and I had an accident. One of the other girls said " I saw a little water on the beds. It was weird. I guess someone drank water and spilled it." And my the birthday party friend said , " No! She peed!" I felt like crying. I said I didn't, and she said, " Well why is there pee where you were sleeping." There were tears in my eyes. I told them I had to go to the bathroom, and I cried in there. She constantly makes me feel bad, yet she is a good friend most of the time. I don't know what to do! She can be really mean and I hate it! Thanks in advance

ARE THESE NEW FRIENDS OF HERS, A BAD INFLUENCE ON HER IN A , " SHE'S GOING TO GET INTO LEGAL TROUBLE, OR JUST A GANG WITH A BAD REPUTATION? IF IT IS THE FIRST AND CAN CAUSE HER TO GET INTO LEGAL TROUBLE, AND HER MOTHER WANTS YOU TO BE THERE ..... YOU ARE HER ONLY LINK TO WHAT NORMAL AND RESPECTFUL IS RIGHT NOW. IF SHE IS INDEED A DEAR FRIEND , DON'T ABANDON HER, AND BE THERE FOR HER WHEN THEY DROP HER LIKE YESTERDAYS BAD NEWS. IT WILL HAPPEN, IT ALWAYS DOES. SHE WILL NEED YOU THE MOST THEN, AND DON'T SAY " I TOLD YOU SO" BE THE FRIEND YOU WOULD WANT SOMEONE TO BE TO YOU. SHOW HER THAT YOU CARE AND NO MATTER WHAT , THESE FRIENDS ( SAID FRIENDS LITERALLY) CAN'T BRING HER ANY REAL HAPPINESS. I WOULD IMAGINE THAT THESE PEOPLE WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU GET UPSET AND MAD, THEY LIVE OFF OF THAT , SO DON'T GIVE THEM THAT. JUST SMILE AND ACT LIKE EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE, EVEN THOUGH UNDER YOUR BREATHE YOU WANT TO SAY THINGS THAT WOULD MELT THEIR MASCARA. SO STAY COOL, BE EXTREMELY NICE AND DON'T LET ANYONE SEE HOW YOU TRULY FEEL. SHE WILL COME BACK, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO BE THERE TO PICK UP THE PIECES THEY LEFT BEHIND. I CAN IMAGINE THAT THE MOTHER IS COUNTING ON YOU FOR THAT. IF YOU ARE THIS TRUE FRIEND, AND IF SHE IS WORTH IT, JUST DO IT. DOES THAT HELP ANY?
I'm starting to like my female best friend?
If you want to be with her, definitely let her know sooner rather than later. If she likes you but is unsure how you feel, then the longer she is unsure of your feelings, the more likely she will assume you don't like her that way and move on. I don't know her obviously but with close friends it can be hard to move onto more of a relationship because of fear that if the relationship doesn't work, the friendship will fall apart. However if she is interested, you may be missing out on something amazing, because if you can be with your best friend, it is the very best of relationships :). I know girls, and one thing we would definitely do is hold our own feelings back until we are sure of the other person's feelings. If she brings up that she wants a bf, try suggesting yourself :). I'm speaking from going through a similar situation, and I can't know the exact situation as I don't know you guys, but when you're telling her you want a gf and she's telling you she wants a bf, that is a very good sign she is interested. Or if she ever asks if you like someone, etc, any questions of that nature are often a sign of interest. Let her know you would like to try out being more than friends. Good luck to you
