How can one stop receiving messages from someone on Facebook's messenger without actually blocking them?
There isn't way you can stop their messages sadly.You can mute the conversation, this won't stop them from messaging you but it will stop you getting notification that they messaged you. There's an option called 'Block Messages', this will stop them from messaging you. But when they do message you they will be told you blocked their messages.The block is only to messages: they can still write on your wall, like your post and pictures, stalk your facebook.

I am getting verification code text messages from different shopping websites like Flipkart even though I don't have any account with them. Is my mobile hacked?
One possible case may be your mob number was allocated to someone else earlier and person created account by using mob no. After that person did not use it regularly so sim deactivated with person name and number assigned with your name. Also, person did not change mob no on different websites and now trying to reset password.Second case may be someone wrongly entered your number for account verification and may be his mail id is correct but mob no is incorrect so he is getting mail and he get verified but he is not aware of wrong number mistake.Third case, your mobile is hacked!You can also check with Flipkart & other comp support team and ask them which account is linked with your number OR you can go to Flipkart,enter your no as username and do forgot password and check if you are getting OTP message at your number.Hope this helps you.
What can I do to find a person who is using my phone number to create fake accounts on various sites? (I've been continuously receiving OTP messages.)
Of course they will not succeed to open account to those sites by your number unless they have physical access to your phone. As long as they do not know the OTP sent to your mobile number, they cannot verify the OTP. I cannot suggest you any further assistance because you cannot know their details just by the OTP message.

It’s simply a prank!!I’m a student from VIT Vellore, recently I too faced the similar situation of getting hundreds of OTP messages and i got so worried that’s something is happening to my accounts without my consent and I got suspicious.But after an hour or so my suspicion grew as my friend’s silently giggling among themselves without any reason but by observing my worried expressions and then I got to know that they are reason behind the messages using an app called BOMBITUP.This so called app Bombitup became very popular among students in the recent days.It will not be available in the play store but generally one can download it from the APK that’s available from Google.After installing the app one can just enter any number that they wish to do the prank.By entering the number there is also an option for number of messages that they want to send to the other person.That’s it by simply entering the number that person will get hundreds of non-stop OTP’S of flipkart,goibibo,mobikwik,paytm and etc,.There’s also an option of PROTECT ME available in that app which works for a week in which in that time period your number wont get any messages until that week is over.There is no possible way of knowing the unknown sender who sent you these messages.PS: I also used this app to prank. But I only used it on my friend’s and also later told them about it so no worries ;)
Anyone receiving text messages from 129?
I receive this message saying to call a number. It seems to be originating from some kind of third party site that someone you know has put your number into or is sending you messages through this site to mask ther number. However the person that is doing it to me is actually stupid enough to use their real number as the call number. If anyone knows the site that it is originating from we can stop it. Calling all computer geeks, lets crack this thing!!!
"Shtyle.fm" How to stop them sending messages to those in my mail box?
I too have received invitations from Shtyle.fm fortunately for me it came from an email address I did not know. I deleted it. Over the next few days I received several more. This made me suspicious and I did some checking. From what I've found out, when someone signs up on Shtyle they have to give them the password to their email account. This should be a red flag warning that something isn't right. One should NEVER give out passwords. Any place that demands it cannot be 100% legitimate and should not be trusted. I know that many people like it and see no problem with handing over their information, I suspect they will live to regret it. As you surmised, they used your password to access your online email addresses and are sending out invites. At best this is plain rude, They will probably continue to do this for as ling as they can, First; change your email password so they can't get anymore addresses. This may invalidate your account with them but I'd call that a small loss considering their behaviour. Second; if you really want to join places like that. Create an online email at "Live.com" or "Hotmail" but DO NOT create an online address file with it. As for what has happened already, I'm afraid all your friends may have to change their email addresses to stop it completely. In the interim they can set up a rule in their email to send anything from Shtyle.fm directly to the deleted items file and make sure that it is set to empty it upon exiting. If they are work addresses then hopefully their company has a good IT person that can stop the spam in its tracks. Third; get yourself the best anti-virus/anti-spam/anti-spyware software you can afford. If you are not sure, ask a professional tech. Someone like a Geek Squad person. For the future, be suspicious. NEVER give out any passwords or personal information on a social network site. Treat your web browsing as a walk through a mine field. Or the same way you would a phone call asking for a credit card number. That may sound paranoid but sadly that is what the net has become. There is no way for you, the user, to know what is going on or who is on the other end.

Changing your email address is a bit drastic, you'd have all the hassle of informing all your contacts etc. Have your got graphics turned off? If you haven't and you open one of those emails it sends a message back to the porn site that your email address is live, so you get more spam. When the spammer gets the signal that your email address is live, they will sell your email address to other spammers. Do you mark them as spam so Yahoo knows to send mail from that address to the spam folder? You can mark all 20 in one go if you tick the box next to each email that looks like spam, and then send them all to the spam folder. If you never open the spam emails (or only open them with graphics turned off) the spammers will eventually conclude that your email address is not live and they will stop. It's safest to have graphics turned off on your email account. You can turn it on again for an individual email after you have opened it and know it is safe.
How many messages can we send on Instagram per day?
Hi All, gonna take a crack at this based on personal evidence - there doesn’t seem to be any published word from Instagram, but there seems to be a variation based on hourly, daily, and my hunch is also weekly messaging limits. I also have a suspicion that message limitation may vary the more times you receive warnings. All that aside, what I’ve discovered is 50 NEW DMs is the daily limit (this excludes replies and in-conversation messages). My hunch is that the hourly limit is something like over 20 an hour and you also get hit with a restriction. Weekly? Hard to tell. There might be a weekly cap of 200 or 250.I should also point out that instagram’s spam system does NOT seem to care if the message is the same or not - I’ve gotten away with sending the same message about 200 times in a week with no restriction whatsoever. Their system ONLY cares about quantity. However, I am not sure what its spam filtration system is for messages that contain links - that part could be different
