I Have Little Red Itchy Bumps All Over My Legs

What are these little itchy red bumps all over me?

It might be allergic eczema. If you want to get rid of them, you have to first understand that it means that your body came into contact with something that could make you sick, your immune system promotes chemical changes to help your body ward off disease. You’re exposed to thousands of substances each day, and most don’t cause your immune system to react. In some cases, however, you may come into contact with certain substances that trigger an immune system response, even if they aren’t typically harmful to the body. These substances are known as allergens. When your body reacts to them, it causes an allergic reaction. An allergic reaction can take a number of forms. Some people experience difficulty breathing, coughing, burning eyes, and a runny nose when they’re having an allergic reaction. Other allergic reactions cause changes in the skin.Allergic eczema is an itchy skin rash that develops when you come into contact with an allergen. The condition often occurs hours after you’ve been exposed to the substance that triggered the allergic reaction.Allergic eczema is also known as:allergic dermatitiscontact dermatitisallergic contact dermatitiscontact eczemaYou would need to keep your skin clean regularly. After that, you can use steroid creams like fucicort cream(betamethasone) or fucidin, to get rid of the red bumps. It is best that you consult a family doctor to give you a suitable cleanser and cream for your legs. Hope this helps. :)

Small, red, itchy bumps on legs?

I've had this for a while, and lately it seems to have gotten a bit worse then normal. My lower legs and parts of my knees, have these little, red, itchy bumps on them. I've been trying not to scratch, but sometimes you have too. I've scratched my legs a lot (not good, I know) and the odd time, I've drawn a bit of blood. What can I try to help get rid of this? My mom hasn't changed brands of laundry detergent since I've had allergic reactions to other ones. I have tried a new body lotion, but this started before that, cause I just started using it yesterday. I've tried to not think about then being itchy, I've tried calamine lotion, but nothing seems to help. Thanks!

What are the red bumps on my legs?

To me, it sound like thigh chaffing from your legs rubbing into each other. It happens to people that run a lot and have friction between their legs. Mainly happens with people that don’t have a gap between their legs or larger thighs in general. This happens a lot with people that are short. This happened to me, and I would suggest trying Anti-monkey butt baby powder formula. I use it every time I’m going on a long run, and now I don’t have a problem at all. They have a lady version for sensitive skin, the original version for men, and even a baby formula for diaper rashes. And they all work. I used it on my newborn and so does my wife when she runs with me. A couple that runs together stays together! :) Try this product at Anti Monkey Butt. If this doesn’t help, then I suggest you to go see a doctor. Good luck with your rash.

HELP used NAIR now i have little red bumps on legs?

Your skin is just irritated they should go away in a day or two.
put some lotion on it to sooth the burning pain

The same thing happened to me. I'm thinking that you didn't take the allergy test it tells you on the bottle. Before every using chemical hair remover always do the patch test or you might've left the cream on longer than the suggested time. First take a bath, to soothe your legs, don't scrub or use body wash on your legs becuase that can irritate it further. After gently apply lotion or cream to soothe your legs. (don't scratch your legs). And wait to shave until your the red bumps are gone. Don't wear tight pants or jeans, the red bumps will go away quicker if nothing is covering them.

it the furture just shave lol
hope this helps..

What are these small, red, itchy bumps on my skin?

I've looked all over online and can't find any useful information.
It started out with my back itching really badly one day. Eventually the itchiness spread to the front around my chest and belly area. It looks like a patch of small red goosebumps that itch. Also have just realized that there is a small spot on the underside of my arm that is a little red and it hurts to the touch. Could it be an allergic reaction? Doesn't look like hives, much..

Please don't give me any wise-*** remarks.. I don't have health insurance. :/

Two days after shaving my legs there are red itching bumps. What is it and how do I avoid that?

Thank You for the A2AThis could be due to many reasons. It could be your first time shaving so your skin isn't used to it yet. It could even be if you have sensitive skin. But mainly, I think it's because your skin is just irritated and hence the red bumps. If you notice that in shaving hair never comes off with the root, it just gets cut and starts growing again in a day or two and sometimes when hair is growing you will feel itchy on your leg/arm wherever you shave. It should go away in some time though. Next time when you shave, take an oil of your choice and apply it on your skin that you're going to shave and then shave it after 10 minutes. This should help you in avoiding these bumps next time. After shaving, it's a good idea to apply astringent. You can use Rose water  as that is a natural astringent. Make sure to moisturise your skin at night to keep it hydrated and nourished. If you want you can read more about rose water here: http://www.janeandsamara.com/?p=354 Hope this helps, Jane

Got my Leg Cast off and I have red bumps all over my ankle and lower leg?

I recently had surgery on my foot and was in a splint for 2 weeks. Then the doctor put me in a plaster cast, but after only 3 days it was severely itchy and I had the cast removed after having it on for a week and 2 days. When they removed the cast my lower leg was COVERED in red bumps that were hard and shiny and very very itchy. My leg was swollen and red and my skin was hard. It has been almost a week since the cast was taken off and I have seen very little improvement despite taking benadryl and using hydrocortizone cream.
Does anyone know what is wrong with me?? Why is my skin so itchy?? How do I make it go away?

I have red bumps on my legs, although I used Nair today. They itch! How do I makes them go away?

I remember having these last year after I shaved, but I thought they were razor bumps, and a week later they went away (hair grew back slightly?). But I haven't done anything with my legs since then, and today was the first time I got rid of the hair on my legs again. I usually use Nair, with no problems, only used razor sporadically.
