I Have Verizon Yahoo Moved To A Non Service Area For Verizon. They Tell Me There Is No Way To Keep

Which is better cricket wireless or verizon wireless>?

Well it all depends on which one you like. and also which one you'll be able to afford. Because with the upcoming budget problems we're having it's going to be a really rocky road so you don't want to be stranded outside in the dark without a cell phone no matter what company it's going to be with. If you say Verizon is better then go for that one. Yet I've got me a Cricket and it's a good one for now. I know I had to buy it straight up front cause my last one was troublesome and well I even got the word from a Cricket dealer not to get the one I had before. He told me to go get the messenger and to head for the store that has them. So I did and well I really didn't get the messenger that day. What I got was the TXTM8 and it cost me $172.15. I was happy to get it. Sure Cricket is okay. No contracts and no credit checks. Pay one fee each month. and they have a different plans. Yet all in all you can talk text Pix and some of the phones have cameras and the one I got has a MP3 player in it. I love my Cricket. Only one thing though It does go out when you go into a non coverage area and also if the signal gets blocked. Yet Cricket is working hard on that. It's been a nice day where I live and I know that Cricket has about 2 stores nearby me that I can go to. Yet the big service store to get a phone is in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. and It's on Smithfield street. If you're ever in the area you should go and check them out. They have lots of new gadgets and really cool items and the one nearer to me has several neat things too. But the decision is yours. only you can make that decision. Yet remember it'll be you who will be using the phone or your mother. Ask yourself one question. Will I be happy with my Cell phone. or will it be a waist of money. In all decisions there ore pros and cons. You never have an easy decision Take some paper and jot down the good things and the bad things about a cell phone and do some research on the computer if you have to. I'm sure you'll find out that it's useful to go online searching first before you go out and spend. I really wish you lots of luck. and may you pick the best phone ever.

Respectfully Higgybaby
If you can try to reach me somehow and let me
know how the phone search went and what kind
you've decided to get.

Would you welcome this if Yahoo/Verizon were to implement this function?

While pretty much everything on here will likely get abused to some degree. Such as people reporting your Q&A just simply because they don’t like your content, people thumbing you down for the same reason(s), people point gaining with non relevant responses, level 7 users wastes their time to move your questions around, people going anonymous, etc.

How would you feel if they implemented these functions:

1) You can block anonymous users (you just can’t see who you’re blocking and it’ll just show up as null user or something like that).

2) If a level 7 user moved your question around enough times, their username will show up and you (and everyone else) can report them if they did indeed did it as a troll.

3) Speaking of lvl 7 users moving Q’s around, level 7 users can only suggest that questions are moved to a certain category instead of just doing it themselves.

My verizon Samsung SCH-u540 got wet. What do I do?

IMMEDIATELY take it apart, meaning get the battery out, covers off, anything you can get off it-take off it! - then get a hair dryer and keep it on warm air (Not Hot!) and keep blowing it on every part but start with the keypad first.

First, shake it down, down, down in a swooping motion with the keypad facing down to get any water out of it and be sure to keep it facing upside-down; you can blow-dry it that way too.

After you have blown it for at least 10 minutes, leave all the parts off and lay on a dry soft towel, key pad facing DOWN for at least 12 hours.

It saved mine. If that doesn't do it - it got too wet for too long and is probably ruined.

Verizon Wireless vs. T-Mobile?

I had gone with Verizon because most of the people I connect with are there. Since they are in my network, I do not have to burn up any of my minutes to talk with most of the people I do. They do have the network coverage too...most places I go are never out of network either, so I have never had any roaming charges.
