I Heard A Gushing In My Neck And Now I Have Pain. Help Me

Is it normal to hear my spinal fluid moving down the back of my neck?

Since you've had this your whole life and it doesn't cause pain or other problems other than noise, which is probably crepitus [1], it might not be such a big deal, but I would get it checked out just to be sure. I sincerely doubt you can hear your spinal fluid moving, it's a tightly closed system deep within the body and well away from what you could hear with your own ears. A physician will be best able to determine which tissues are causing the crepitus and whether it's a cause for worry or not.  You really have to have someone perform a physical exam with the proper tools to determine the source of the crepitus.  They will also be able to determine if a scan is needed if it does appear to be a cause for concern.  My guess is that there is some sort of tension or dysfunction in the soft tissues of the throat or deep paraspinal muscles that make the crepitus when you swallow or breathe deeply in a supine position. There is a LOT of cartilage and other connective tissue in the neck, not to mention a virtual spaghetti-bowl of little muscles that can develop tension that can produce crepitus. Do relate to the doctor that lying down and swallowing/breathing deeply - or whatever description best matches how you feel and what you are doing when you notice it, and that there doesn't appear to be any symptoms other than the crepitus. They are your best bet for a good answer.  Good luck.[1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cre...

What's the sound you sometimes hear in your neck?

There are generally 3 sounds you hear when you move your neck. There is the popping sound (generally happens once and it's not repeatable for at least another hour or so) that you would feel if you had a chiropractor adjust you or you rotated or laterally bent your neck. This is called cavitation and it happens because a vacuum forms between the bones at the joint level due to some type of distraction of the joint and dissolved nitrogen is pulled out of the synovial fluid, forms a bubble and then pops. It's identical to "cracking your knuckles."There is a snapping or cracking sound that comes with movement. The difference is that this sound happens almost every time you do the same movement. This sound comes from tendons or long thin ligaments moving over bony protuberances, getting caught and then snap over the bone (like a guitar string). The last sound is more "gravelly"  and generally more quiet. It generally happens each time you move your neck, doesn't go away and in fact is likely to get more prominent over time. This is called crepitus and means that the cartilage that is lining the joints is no longer smooth and has gotten rough. There is a strong likelihood that this is the start of or a symptom of advancing cervical osteoarthritis.

What is the jugular vein, and can pressing down on it kill you?

No it will not.

Did you marry your true love or the next best thing?

My mom got married for the third time, and I know she is very happy. When I asked her husband why the heck he married mom after five years together, he said she is the best "thing" that ever happened to him. When I asked mom why the heck... bla-bla-bla... she said she finally met her "true love". It is almost funny to see them together because they jump out of their skin to try to make each other as comfortable as they possibly can. He cooks for her, make sure she takes vitamines every day, packs her gym bag, massages her fit in the evening. And knowing that mom went through two painful divorses and a depression, I see her giggling like a teenager when he tries to kiss her in the neck... I think they are the best match for each other and are happy even if they met being 35 and 40.

Is my neck broken?

About two weeks ago I woke up with this sharp pain in my neck. It wouldn't go away. I could not turn my neck what so ever.. It has gotten better but I still can't turn my neck without feeling that pain. I have to get up from my seat just to look beside me. Should I sleep on the floor? Should I have more pillows in the bed with me? Should I try popping my neck?

What is the flow of energy from the back of the head after meditation? A few weeks ago, I started to feel a constant flow of energy located on the back of the parietal lobe. I feel an aversion toward meditating now. Should I see a doctor?

Meditating on the physical heart, the brain, the sexual organ, perineum (mooladhara), or other sensitive part/cavity will lead to concentration of air/blood/energy, overheating, and overreaction of that part causing serious health problems. If you meditate/concentrate/focus on the Third Eye/tip of your nose/Crown of your head/back of your head/forehead/looking up at Ajna Chakra/anywhere in the head, you will have:A variety of unnatural sensations in the head (forehead, top of your head, back of your head, side of your head),Pain/ache/pressure in the head, headache,Vibration/pulsation in any part of your head including ears,Feeling as if your head is filled with energy/air/pressure and as if it is going to explode, something exploding inside the head (this is dangerous),Inability to focus/concentrate on day-to-day matters or flight of ideas/thoughts, thinking day and night about the same subject, etc.,Spinning sensation,Twirling/swirling/something moving or flowing upward/downward/sideward in any part of the head,Vision getting blurred sometimes,Irritability, getting fidgety, restlessness, sleeplessness,Sometimes visual or auditory hallucinations,Ear and hearing problems, etc.Dizziness, dysequilibrium, syncope, giddiness, loss of consciousness, etc.All these signs and symptoms are not meditation/kundalini awakening experiences. These are not the result of spiritual awakening /spiritual energy activation. These are the effects of meditating/concentrating/focusing on any part of the head, which is a very dangerous meditation practice/technique. If you want your well being, give up such a practice immediately. Doctors will not be able to diagnose your condition.Real meditation experiences will not continue after you stop meditating. For example, if you experience energy moving up your spine during meditation, such a sensation will stop once you get up from mediation. Meditation experiences happen only during meditation. That is why they are called meditation experiences. The same meditation experiences will not keep on repeating. Real meditation/Kundalini experiences do not harm you physically or mentally. It is only the wrong practices that harm you, such as meditating on the Third Eye, Crown Chakra, Heart, etc.http://kundalini-brahmajnani.blogspot.com/2016/05/dangers-in-meditation-meditation-or.htmlhttps://www.quora.com/What-insights-or-revelations-have-you-had-since-your-kundalini-awakened/answer/Achintya-Idam?srid=uR34wShubhamastu--Let Good Happen To You!

How hard is it to stab someone to death? I only ask out of morbid curiosity because I've heard contradictory information on that point.

In the context of civilian novices who are not professionally trained—Stabbing someone to death usually looks like this: the attacker with forward grip tries to make primitive thrusts at the victims stomach or neck- the victim responds by trying to grab his arm holding the knife. The combat is characterized as such with little or no change in tactics. For the average adult man it is relatively easy to stab a child, women and elderly. It is moderately easy to critically injure another adult man, exceptionally hard to stab a martial artist or weight lifter. It is the same for an adult woman versus another average woman, child vs child of the same frame.Between two professionals, the match is anything but easy.It depends on quickness and strength. A weak or slow person can be disarmed after a few stabs or if any at all. But most likely, a stab with a large knife any where on the torso, especially below the rib cage, will cause bleeding and the victim will become weak in matter of seconds. Which makes the affair relatively easy. How hard it is depends alot on element of surprise. Can’t argue with the ease of a few stabs to the heart or a deep cut across the throat. If the victim does not see it coming nothing can be done to prevent it. And in this event, the prolonged game of the attacker trying to stab while the victim tries to grab would also be easy. However there have been cases of attackers trying to make fatal injuries but the victim survives. For example, stabbing the throat is unreliable way of severing the carotid. One or both of them have to be severed completely to guarantee death. This is easily done by a deep long cut but not if the victim sees it coming or the instrument is dull. The location of the heart varies from person to person and its a small organ the size of a fist. It is also protected from the front by ribs and shoulder blade and spine from the rear.Another thing people try to do is stabbing or severing the abdominal aorta vein. The aorta is a large blood vessel that pumps blood from the heart to the lower body… it’s a large vein under alot of pressure, alot of blood travels through it. Cutting it will cause bleeding to death, this is why knifers typically stab the stomach. But this is not so easy because the vein is buried under intestines, ab muscle and fat, its just behind the spine. It requires a large knife.
