I Just Got My Nose Pierced But I Took It Out Because It Was Too Far Up When I Can Pierce It Again

My nose stud just fell out..i only got it pierced 2 weeks ago and it wont go back in! :| help? aha.?

Wow. I did the exact same thing last week actually. If you just wait a little while for the swelling to go down there are some really good videos on youtube showing you how to put your nose hook back in. I personally had some 18 g. hoops in my jewelery box and I disinfected it by boiling it and then soaking it in rubbing alcohol. I just slipped it it in to keep the hole intact, but now I really like it. Anyways, take a deep breath calm down watch these while you hold a cold but not iced cloth to your nose and then try again.

Is my nose piercing too low and far back?

Hi, yeah, it looks a little far back and too low...
If I were you, I'd take it out and let it close up, then get it re-pierced. Even if your parents won't let you do it again, you could always do it secretly, or just wait until you're 16, then you can do it without your parents' permission. It's better than having one that looks weird, and you'll never be happy with it.
If you do decide to take it out, do it asap, otherwise the hole may not close, then you'll be stuck with a hole in your nostril. If you take it out now, it should start to heal pretty quick.
Did it hurt getting it pierced?
And to the a.sshole who said your nose is big, don't take any notice. Your nose is perfectly normal, and you're very pretty :)

Why is my nose piercing bleeding?

The infection of the nose while it has been pierced can be caused by a number of reasons such as the entry of pathogens, namely, bacteria and fungi into the freshly pierced part of the nose. It can also be triggered in case of one wearing very tight jewelry or having been undergone nose piercing with the help of a nose piercing gun. It may lead to nose piercing staph infection. The improper and unhygienic ways of using the nose piercing gun with non-sterilized nose piercing needles may lead to the transmission of even deadly diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis C. Besides, unhygienic ways of living may also be the reason behind nose piercing infections.  Nose Piercing Healing The time taken for nose piercing healing may extend from 15 days to over a month depending on the care and the aftercare measures that needs to be followed after getting your nose pierced. The nose piercing healing time is actually extended in case of the occurrence of nose piercing infections or other complications associated with it. However, if one sincerely abides by the nose piercing care instructions that have been given above, it would ensure the fast healing of the pierced area without causing much pain and agony.Nose Piercing Aftercare and Care The pierced area must be thoroughly but lightly cleaned everyday for at least twice a day with sterile cotton swabs dipped in lukewarm water. But infected nose piercings can be treated only with the help of antiseptic soaps or lotions.  One must also remove any crusty formation on the nose piercing ring with the help of cotton swabs. When sleeping, make sure you do not sleep on the side of nose piercing. Ensure you only use clean nose jewelry.  One needs to be careful while taking a bath as any kind of ignorance may hurt the infected wound and cause the pierced area to bleed and pain.  Strong substances such as tea tree oil, alcohol, betadine, hydrogen peroxide and methylated spirits must not be used on the pierced or infected area as it may promote the development of nose piercing scars or lumps. It may lead to a burning sensation and cause great irritation on the affected area.

My nose piercing just got accidentally pulled out by my glasses.?

it will be fine :) you sound like you handled it well, the same thing happened to me but mine cought on a towel. its red because its irritated. keep doing sea salt soaks on your nose and try lifting your glasses in an up and out motion next time :)

yes it will come out easily for now. because the hole is bigger then the jewelry so it has room to heal. in a week or two it should fit just right.

if it starts to have goo coming out of it, it might be a sign of an infection. try using dial antibiotic soap and washing it with that. dont take the piercing out because you dont want the infection to get trapped inside the piercing

How long does it take for your nose piercing to heal?

It depends by what you mean "close up" and how long you've had the piercing. If a piercing is fairly new, once the jewelry is removed the pressure on the walls of your piercing from your jewelry is gone, so the piercing wil start to squeeze closed. This could make it difficult to reinsert jewelry into the piercing within minutes. If there is an issue with reinserting the jewelry on your own, a reputable body piercer should be able to get it in for you without too much issue if you get to them within a day or two from the time the jewelry was removed. If you wait longer than a few days to visit a piercer to have the jewelry reinserted, then your piercing may have already started healing closed. This is because a new piercing that is less than 6 months old (or even up to a year) is still healing, so when the tissue squeezes down and the sides start touching each other, they will start connecting and healing closed. If a piercing has been there for a while, like a year or so, then you may be able to remove it for brief periods of time. How long really depends on your specific piercing and body.An important thing to note is that removing and reinserting jewelry into a piercing, even if it is healed, can lead to irritation and issues with your piercing. Now, if you were talking about removing your piercing because you don't want it and you want it to heal closed. Then no one can really predict, because different people with different diets and in different climates will heal differently. Just remove it and keep cleaning the inside and outside for a bit to make sure you're removing anything that may accumulate by the piercing and it should eventually close up.

I want to get my nose pierced, but i'm afraid of two things: the pain, and the scar left when i remove it.

then dont do it

My nose piercing no longer goes all the way through the side of my nose.....is this a problem?

What you should do is go back to your piercer (if you don't see him/her regularly, go to a piercing parlor that you trust) and ask their advice.

What I've usually been told is to put some sort of salene product - some people refer Bactine, some are against it. Usually sea salt water is recommended most widely. It HAS to be SEA SALT, though, and dilute a small amount in some water. Anyway, put the salene on a Q-tip or spray it directly on your nose. This should help with the infection.

as far as getting the piercing back in, since you've had it for so long, I'm guessing that there's only a small amount of tissue blocking it, you might want to try lubricating the ring/your nose with some Vitamin E oil (which will help by lubricating, and Vitamin E has healing powers and is usually used for acne (could help with the pus in you infection) and scars (the big hole in your nose) and just shove the ring through.

Or you may want to be more safe by just getting it re-pierced. But, they might pierce NEAR the original piercing and not right on top, as that is now scar tissue and would be harder - and more painful - to pierce.

Long story short - go to your piercing parlor and ask the professionals.

Nose piercing ,, Won't go back in ?

Go to a better, smarter shop and have them help you put your jewelry back in. In the meantime, wear the jewelry that you can get in.

A piercer with any experience or common sense should be able to taper your jewelry back into place if your piercing is still open. A taper is a longer metal tool that gradually increases in size from one end to the other. Using the taper makes it much easier to get bent nostril jewelry into your piercing.

If there isn't another shop within driving distance, you can try to get your jewelry back in yourself. When you put it in, you will find that it will not want to turn some directions. Your task is to gently try several different positions and angles until you get the jewelry in place. Sometimes it can take a surprising amount of pressure to get a nostril screw to pop into place.

You can also try to reduce the bend in your jewelry. Straightening it completely may leave it hanging out of your nose if you get it into place. But widening any angles or curves that you're getting hung up on should help you get the piece into place.

You may want to give your nose a few days with your round ring in to calm down. Nostril piercings are easily irritated and can swell up very quickly. A swollen piercing can make it difficult to get your jewelry into place without a taper. You may find that leaving it alone with the round ring in for a few days makes it much simpler to get your angled jewelry in later.

Putting in nostril jewelry is something that takes patience and practice. If you just can't get it at home, it's time to take a drive to a competent piercer.
