How do you get over your first car accident that you caused? I am an 18-year-old high school student who hit a car while trying to park. No one was hurt but I’m extremely upset about it.
This happened to me earlier this summer, but on the receiving end. Let me give you my viewpoint which may help you.I spend all day on Saturday detailing my 2002 BMW 325Xi. It is a stunning looker. I polish, buff, clean, treat the leather, dress the tires, man, she is pretty. Get a call from a girlfriend to go out for ice cream. After finishing my ice cream we go out to the car where I find a very young teen girl (15) and her mother staring at the side of my car. The teen is crying. She is a very petite girl, I am a very large man (my nickname is Sasquatch). Her mother looks at me and asks if it is my car, to which I answer yes.The teen looks up at me and bursts into hysterical crying. She just got her license and backed into the right rear quarter panel of my car. Her mother quickly stated they had insurance. I looked at the girl, directly, trying to minimize my size and intimidation factor and kept telling her it will be ok. I told her that these things can be repaired, and it will be all right.Her insurance took care of the repairs to my satisfaction and I have no ill thoughts of the young girl. I do hope she got over it and learned from her mistake.So, to you. If you had insurance or paid to have the other car repaired, move on. It happens. You caused some damage, and repaired it. That is all that can be expected of you. Learn from your mistake and pay closer attention to your driving and surroundings on the road and try to never let it happen again. It will be all right.

I just got in to a car accident, I need answers on what to do next, I'm sad, stressed and worried :'(?
I just got in to a car accident a few hours ago, I saw that the traffic was moving forward so I pressed on the gas took my eyes off the road quickly but next thing I knew I had crashed into the car in front :'( I got off of the car started crying but me and my brother and 3 friends were all fine nothing happened to us by my car got destroyed from the front. But the car I crashed had no visible damage to their car. There were 2 people in the car I crashed one was calm calling the police only but the passenger(his girlfriend) was angry and kept complaining that her neck hurt, so her boyfriend called the ambulance and made a big scene, the firefighters, paramedics, and many things started showing up when their car was fine and nothing even happened to us, I saw that the girl calmed down and didn't end up going with the ambulance. The pice took all my information down and my friends too, although I didn't get any information down at all. The car left and I managed to reverse my car into a parking lot. The bad thing is that I wasn't in my parents insurance, I just got my license a few months ago and today was just my second day at work of my first job ever :'((( I feel awful I hate myself for getting distracted easily :'( I don't know what to do next? What are they going to charge me for? :'( & what do I need to do now? I really need help and consolation since I didn't get a hug or a shoulder to cry on from my parents :'( how can this affect me? My family doesn't have a lot of money so this is a really bad situation for all of us :'( I messed up really bad..
I had an accident (just leave it at) and lost a third (1/3) of my Xanax down a drain. I still do have about 30 tablets left. What to do?
I mean it’s better than nothing of course and I can manage this month without it, but would it make any sense contacting my doctor and telling him what happened? Or just manage and wait till next week?
Car accident after a c section...?
You should have told the ambulance attendants that you recently had a C-section they would have transported you to the ER as well. Didn't you LISTEN to your doctor when he/she gave you your relase instructions after having your section? Until you have a follow up with your physician after your surgery you haven't been "released" from doctor's care. ANYTHING that happens before your follow up and the doctor releases you HAS to be checked out. DAMN you could have internal in juries which could result in having to have another surgery or DEATH. Want to leave that new baby without a mother?

I have a 3 week old newborn, i have been breastfeeding since day one. i just got into a car accident today (thank god without my newborn) i got extremly scared, i heard its bad to breastfeed after being frightened...is this true and why so? i heard there are things you can eat/drink.... any suggestions. thanks

That stuff happens to everyone. The people that get freaked and learn from it do better next time. The people who accept no responsibility and blame everyone else end up rear ending a Police car or something horrid. You know now that you need to turn and do a "head check" and it's probably a good idea to anticipate lanes ending somewhat sooner than you might have today. It doesn't mean you're a bad driver. It happens. You need to get back in the car. See if you can go someplace like an empty parking lot and practice learning where your blind spot is and how big it is. Every car is different. You're going to be ok. I agree with Chuck, your brother needs to make a positive contribution to you learning to drive or get the heck out of the car. Yelling like a butthead isn't helping.
