I Just Received This Email Today From Ross And Already Completed The Form.

Which one is correct: "Ross has started working on the project" or "Ross have started working on the project"?

Ok. You mean to say, if we are having respect for the person (3rd person singular), we use the auxiliary verb HAVE for him, treating him as highly respectable. (3rd person plural). Right?Let’s see the figures below.Could you see that, even if he is divinely respectable like your Grandpa, you should NEVER use the Verb for the plural form i.e. Have, to describe anything about him….In Simple Words :“Ross HAS started working on the project”Game Over. That’s It. :)

Will social media replace e-mail?

Yes, social channels are already outpacing email. Email usage has declined as high as 59% across all age groups and people are spending 2.7x more time on social media and blogs than they do on email. Is it going to disappear overnight?  No way.  Heck, direct mail still gets a 1% conversion rate and that started in the late 1800s.At the same time, marketers are planning on sending more email than ever thisyear.  Companies who are successfully using email today understand theyhave deliver relevant, valuable and personalized content. Get the right messageto the right person at the right time and you’ve got a marketing channel withsome serious ROI.  Of course, the same can be said for social communication. The real question is not whether social will replace email, but how quickly companies can evolve to communicate with their prospects and customers via their preferred medium. I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about this (occupational hazard) and look at email like this --- When a prospect calls you, do you respond with a Tweet?  When a customer wants to chat, do you ask them to post on your Fan Page?  When they send you an email, do you respond withan email? The last one makes sense, right?  You respond through the channel by which the customer or prospect initiated contact. Yes, email is comfortable, easy, established, but are you really responding to all of your customer’s needs by forcing email on them?  A good user experience does not end with the product. Your customer wants to communicate with you through any channel, on anydevice, and for that experience to be consistent and flawless, just like your product. Email is, and will continue to be, one of many tools in a company’s growing communication war chest.

I just received this email today from Ross and already completed the form.?

it says my first day is on Monday... does that mean my orentation is on Monday to or will they call me in before Monday ?
this is what the email said : Welcome to Ross! We are pleased that you've accepted employment with us and look forward to having you join our team. Your start date is 07/15/2013. Enclosed is a link to click on that will navigate to your new hire paperwork. Please complete these forms prior to your start date.

Please also bring documentation that establishes your eligibility to work in the United States. See the government I-9 form for a list of acceptable forms of ID. If you choose to use any of the following documents as your proof of eligibility to work in the United States, you must bring the original document and 2 copies of the document with you to Orientation. Do typical employee background checks reveal immigration status?

In the US employers are required to check for immigration status by requiring documentation of your legal status. Most will double check because they can get into a lot of trouble if they hire illegals. Any reputable company will check. Our company owns several spanish language stations and has been bit by mexicans with forged documents so we double check. We hire a lot of legal residents.

go into internet options and delete the browsing history and all the options, you can specifically delete the information typed into forms and that should get rid of it

I got an email from ross that said, "We are excited to welcome you to Ross Stores!

If you choose to use the form I-766 or I-551 for your I-9, we request that you bring two (2) copies of the form (along with the originals) with you on your first day of work.

and my question is do I print out the I-9 form myself and go to the store to turn it in? or do I call the manager to ask her when I can go in to fill it out?

I went in for a interview Saturday and I got the job! The manager said that once my background check goes through, I will get an email. I got the email that says
