I Keep Throwing Up When I Get Overly Hyper

How do you feel when you've taken too much Ritalin or Concerta?

I am very stupid, cannot articulate my emotions and sentences. Very immersed in myself while ignoring others. I have problems with falling asleep. Crash will be rude and not merciful. My limit of normal well-being is 54 mg, everything, what is higher than this, kills me.Regarding Ritalin… I used it two year ago, but it was not something very pleasant. I was thinking that 30–50 mg per once is okay, although this regime of intake had forced me to be depressed and suicidal. Then recovery took 1 year to recreate my imbalance of dopamine. Do not overdo your prescribed dosage, it is not something very good in the long-term.By the way, I am able to notice that methylphenidate somewhat impairs my working memory while giving me good focus. Despite non-FDA approved status of modafinil, I can assure you it is much better for working memory than methylphenidate. Of course, attention is not so highlighted with modafinil as I would like it to be.

Are Blue Heelers very hyper and energetic?

The best way I can answer this question is tell you how my average day goes.
Tomorrow is my day off. I would love to sleep in til around 8 am-I dont usually get an opportunity to sleep that late, but no, my ACD, Pepper, will surely be in my face, standing on top of me in the bed with a toy in her mouth at 5:30 am sharp! The expression on her face tells me that if I dont get up right away, she may pop a blood vessel! So I get up and start throwing the toy. She brings it back, brings it back, brings it back...a few hours later, she gives up. She then starts to grab my foster terrier by the collar and drags him around the house. I hear the commotion and put a stop to the behavior-for about 30 seconds until I turn my back. If I say no about 100 more times she gives up. It is now about 9 am. The next game is how often she can charge out the door and bark at all the passing cars. This occupation lasts as long as I can stand it-I close the doggie door and she spends the next half hour barking at me for doing this. I try to sit down and do some reading, but she is instantly in my lap, rolling over onto her back and biting my hands in a desperate attempt to make me play with her.
This goes on for as long as I am sitting down.
I begin to do chores. She follows me everywhere, and I constantly turn and trip over more toys. She has brought me every toy in the house. When she has finished that, she brings me the pillows off the couch and any throw blankets she can find.
By the end of my day off, I am so exhausted I cant wait to go back to work. She finally gives up on the toys and the playing around 9:30 pm, and no, she has NOT taken any dog naps.

Now dont get me wrong! I love my girl and I love her personality. We have spent a huge amount of time training her to behave-she used to be worse. It is just that it is the dead of winter and we had too much snow this year. She cant go out and play her usual soccer games, or do any agility, so she is so stir crazy with cabin fever I think she may just jump right out of her skin.

So I guess the answer is if you can go non-stop all day long without taking a breath, and like being chewed on for affection, an ACD is exactly the right dog for you.
If you dont have gobs of spare time and arent willing to devote it ALL to your dog and finding her something to do for 12 hours every day, this is NOT the breed for you.

Hyperactive Cat After Surgery?

Anaesthesia can affect cats and people in different ways. Some come out nice and easy, some come out fighting , some come out very angry. One time I went for an operation, I woke up cursing and swearing and throwing everything I could get my hands on. Wouldn't lay down in the bed and caused a lot of problems for the nurses. When the effects of the anaesthesia wore off I was back to being very quiet and extremely polite. The nurses laughed and said that everyone reacts differently. A month ago my 16 1/2 year old tom cat had extensive dental surgery - they brought him out to me yelling at the top of his lungs and clawing to get out at me. We got home and within 10 or 15 minutes he was sound asleep and didn't wake up for 8 hours.
Try to isolate your cat in a room where she can be alone and calm down - if you can sit with her and talk to her quietly that would be better. Keep just a bit of water in a bowl (you can add more if she drinks it up) and don't fill the litter box too full. Hopefully, the effects of the drugs will wear off soon and she will settle down.

What does it mean if a dog vomits and then has excessive drooling?

Clearly, the best thing to do with any dog medical issue is to talk to a vet. You should do so.In practicality, if I took one of my dogs to the vet every time one of them vomited, it would likely increase the number of trips to the vet over the dog’s lifetime by four or five.If you have a child and your child vomits once or even twice, you probably aren’t going to take them to the emergency room. Even if it is a two-year-old that cannot tell you in words how they are feeling, you would probably monitor the situation. You would look for signs that there was more wrong - is there disorientation? Does the dog have a fever (yes, you can check)? Has he drank water and kept it down? Is he behaving rather listlessly?Excessive drooling is a sign of nausea in dogs and so it could make some sense that he drools after vomiting. If he is able to keep water down, you could try giving him a little bit of pumpkin to soothe his stomach. Or some non-flavored yogurt. For most people, they will see their dog vomit several times over the course of its life. Dogs eat things they shouldn’t and vomiting is the result. There are things that when combined with vomiting are serious red flags, but for me, vomiting alone is not.

Is it normal for my 2 year old to be so hyper and put up a struggle every time I try to do something with him?

Bogus: You should have just kept your comments to yourself! You have no idea the kind of person I am and you obviously did not comprehend some things I put in my post. I am not shoving sugar down my sons throat! You are such a jerk! I am not trying to get my son diagnosed with something just to get government money! You shouldn't say things like that when you have no idea who I am or what I am going through! You may need to go back to school and learn reading comprehension because I stated that I am completely open to changing things I may be doing wrong. I would rather it be something I need to work on than having him diagnosed with some kind of disorder. I was seeking help and advice on whether his behavior was normal or not! I wasn't seeking an input from someone that doesn't know what they are talking about!

To everyone else... thank you for your input and advice! I do take him out in public places, I just don't have the extra energy to take him to people's houses that don't have
