Why does makeup look so weird on me?
First of all, don't rely on makeup to make you "not ugly". What is it you think that makes you so ugly? Makeup won't fix that, and yeah I've felt that way, but personally I would want to be looked at nicely without makeup, and then just enhanced with makeup, not necessarily transformed on a daily basis. If you want to get some real tips to suit YOU, go to a makeup counter and definitely get it done and say you want to be able to do a look on a daily basis but it never works out and you don't like how it looks. Make sure the makeup you use is good quality, and watch videos of people who tailor to similar needs that you have (e.g.: contouring, same eye color). I wish you wouldn't say you're so ugly though. Makeup won't fix that. Only you can. If you don't like something about yourself, change it or accept it!
Why do I feel ugly even with makeup?
Because you have no inner feeling of self worth. It's almost universal in females, I think... I have felt inadequate in every way most of my life. I look back on pictures of me when I was younger, and think "Wow! THAT girl is beautiful!" but I still dislike looking in the mirror today. I decided that beauty is a false thing, decided by others and it has to be unimportant. I try to be the BEST person INSIDE that I can be. When I uplift someone else, or cause someone else to smile, THEN I feel beautiful. Hang in there sweetie. If makeup doesn't help, don't use it. It's just a mask. BE Beautiful! Make someone smile! Help an old person carry their groceries! Compliment another girls smile or eyes or hair (NOT their mask), because you understand that she probably feels EXACTLY the way YOU do! You will find beauty in the smiles you create in other people. THEN you will know you are beautiful to them, and to yourself.
Why do I still look ugly even with Makeup?
Just go stand in front of a mirror (I know it sounds painful, but trust me, it works) and concentrate on what you like about yourself. Take sticky notes and start writing all of those things down and put them around your mirror so that when you look in it the next time you can't help but see them. I know what it's like to feel self-conscious. I am VERY self-conscious myself. Just remember that beauty isn't only on the outside, that stuff can be changed. It's what inside that counts. If at the end of the day you can tell yourself and others that you are a good person, then don't let what you see on the outside bother you. You just have to remember that you are your biggest critic. You will notice your "flaws" before anyone else does. And don't try "fixing" how you look with makeup...sometimes it just makes girls look worse.
Why the crap do I look ugly with makeup on?
It takes awhile to learn the structure of your face and what looks work for you. If you have trouble with your eyes being small, there are a lot of ways you can amp it up and make your eyes look wide. Adding white liner to your water line will make your eyes widen and appear larger. Adding a matte white eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes will also look bigger. I hate mascara too because it doesn't open up my eyes at all. I use fake lashes everyday! They are simple to use and can make anyone look better as long as they aren't too dramatic!
Why do I look uglier with makeup on?
Accentuate your natural beauty. Long eyelashes are desired by everyone. And I bet you are not ugly. If you put eyeliner on your water line, it will make your eyes look smaller, so put it on your lash line in a color that is the same as your brows. Find a mascara that is brown and use a light hand to lightly brush your lashes. On your lids, find a shimmery color that is close to that of your own skin color and sweep that along your lids to your crease. Lightly define your crease with a little bit darker tan matte eyeshadow. On your lips, go with a tinted chap stick that is close to your normal lip color. Take a creamy lip pencil that is also close to your natural lip color and line just a TAD around your lips. Don't exaggerate this... make it look like it is your own lip. This should make your lips look a little bit larger. Leave your skin bare. I think that the reason why your concealer is making your face look crusty is because your face is too dry, or your concealer needs to be replaced. Just to be safe, moisturize your face with oil free lotion and toss your concealer and you'll be all good to go. If your face looks dirty during the day, take makeup remover wipes and swipe that on your face when needed. Keep them in your bag. Good luck! :)
Why do women look so ugly without makeup?
Because in nature evolution prefers males to mate with females that are fresh and in their prime. This means they won't be as biologically desirable as they are soon after they become "women". Faces naturally rosey, eyes fresh, skin smooth etc etc. Once they hit about 18 they begin to lose that "fresh look" of course there are outliers who remain "desirable" for much longer but it's not common. Just look at a fresh faced young girl and compare her to her older self 10 years, 20 years and 30 years later. Her face, is your window into her health and ability to procreate. The more attractive she is naturally, the more likely your offspring will inherit the same traits and thus ensure your family and bloodline stay in the gene pool. So why do they wear makeup? Because preserving that "fresh" look is how they can compete in evolution. Forget about all the excuses. Women wear makeup so they can convince the world and mates that they are still in their prime. Beauty has advantages and even if a 50 year old woman with makeup is obviously old, the perception the makeup gives is that she was once a prime mate or that her bloodline is worthy of procreation. Unfortunately in 2016, wearing makeup doesn't have the same value as it did before the internet came out. Now every man is very cautious about dating a woman who looks terrible without makeup. Men are smarter and get sex more often today than 50 years ago. Couple that with women who are more promiscuous and well, you have a situation where men simply wave off women who aren't fresh or have perfect genes without makeup. Women are losing again and the reign of power is shifting back into a man's favor, all thanks to the internet.

When someone says "You look weird without makeup" do they mean you're ugly?
It means that they normally only see you with makeup on. If you feel you have to wear makeup all the time, it may be because you THINK you'd look ugly without it. That doesn't mean you're ugly, just that you're insecure about your appearance.
Will wearing makeup at a young age make you look ugly later?
I understand you 100%. When I was your age I LOVED makeup and wanted to wear it all the time. My mom didn't let me because she said I would age before time. Fortunately there are things we can do to do what we love without looking 50 by the time we're 20. Before you apply any sort of foundation or concealer always moisturize your face with a face cream. & invest on a good undereye cream as well since that area is really sensitive and ages the most. It's never too late for anti-wrinkle face creams!! Also because you're young keep it fresh and fun! Experiment with it because its definetley an art. Good luck!
