I Lost Weight Not Eating.

Can you lose weight by not eating?

when you stop eating your body goes into panic mode and slows down your metabolism. You will feel tired and drowsy all the time.

When you do eat, your body will turn that into fat and attempt to store it.

its not a good idea, just eat normally and exercise daily.

A common misconception is when people think about exercise they think about hear beating fast, lungs hurting, and pushing your body to the limit. That is exercise but you don't have to do that to loose weight.

Just try walking 30 - 1hr a day at 3. - 3.5 mph. Try to keep your heart rate at 130 for optimum fat burn.
Just Eat right and drink lots of water!

Will not eating make me lose weight ?

you will lose weight at first. then you will bloat and your body will eat your muscle mass. not to speak of the malnutrition. head aches. fatigue. mood swings. eventually if you allow it to get bad enough you will have trouble controlling your bowels because you have no muscle! Don't do it. just eat RIGHT and exercise and you will be the beautiful shape you desire. not eating is the easy way out. you need to work to be healthy and fit =D hope I helped. Good Luck!

Oh also, try to eat a small meal every 2 hours (sandwich and orange size with WATER! no more soda and try to cut out most juices). helps your metabolism!

I lost weight not eating.?

So about six months ago I weighed 190 pounds and was looking online about starvation diets particularly here on y answers. When people asked for advice on these sort of diets there were only negative responses saying how stupid the person was for even asking this sort of thing and that they'd some how actually gain weight if they ceased to eat cheeseburgers and ice cream. Well this pissed me off a bit, so I decided to prove all of these fu**ktards wrong and do the diet myself. So I ate between 200 and 400 calories for three months and lost 60 pounds. I did it with no problem whatsoever and didn't exercise once. I now weigh 130 pounds and look and feel better than ever. Its three months since this drastic diet and I have resumed a 1500 to 2000 calorie diet and have yet to gain a single pound. So whats the deal people? Are you just to weak willed to even try the diet for more than two days before pussing out or are you just trying to deter others from losing weight so you can just continue to be fat and lazy? Lets here some answers!

How much weight can you lose by not eating for a month?

Well, there’s no way to give a real direct answer. If we assume that you weigh 150 lbs you would need approximately 2100 calories a day to maintain your weight. If you stopped eating entirely you could theoretically lose about 2/3rds of a pound per day. So, in 30 days, without any additional exercise or activity you’d lose approximately 18 pounds. However, if you stop eating, your body will rather quickly go into starvation mode. You need to eat a minimum of 1000 to 1200 calories a day or your body will shut down. Not a wise, nor healthy choice, and virtually impossible to maintain. Your body would very quickly rebound and most likely gain even more weight.

How long does it take to lose weight after not eating?

I can't tell you when you will start to loose weight but I can tell you that by not eating, your metabolism has slowed to a halt. Your body has gone into starvation mode and is hanging onto all the fat it can to survive. The longer you don't eat, the more your body will hang onto the fat and the more weight you will gain when you do start eating again. Best to starting eating now, in small portions so you don't do any permanent damage to your metabolism. When I was a teenager (I'm 48 now), I used to go days without eating, it was something a lot of us girls did back in the 70's. Well, now that I'm older, it seems harder to loose any weight and very easy to gain... Trust me, you don't want to do what you are doing to yourself.

Your body has stopped loosing weight because it has plateaued for awhile, that happens to a lot of people. You may not loose anything for another couple months, but as long as you eat healthy and take care of your self, it will start coming off again. Remember that staying healthy should be your goal and it will be a lot easier to go that long term and make your eating and exercise a lifestyle and not a diet.

How much weight will I lose by not eating for a week?

I did this once, well I didn’t eat for 10 days. I made sure to keep pretty hydrated and probably excersised about 1–2 hours on average a day. I lost 5kg and I also lost my period. I didn’t notice any other physical changes although when I did start eating normally again (because I didn’t have an eating disorder but a more complicated psychological problem) I gained back all of the weight I lost in about a week, eating normally so about 2000 calories a day because of messing up my metabolism.I wouldn’t recommend doing this as after a few days I stopped feeling normal hunger and instead would get extremely painful cramps and pains in my stomach for around 15 minutes a couple of times a day. I got out of breathe from even walking, was very dizzy all of the time (honestly surprised I didn’t faint)They also wanted to send me into a hospital but luckily I started eating again so avoided being an inpatient. All in all you probably shouldn’t do this but if you do I lost about 5 kg but I don’t know if you would loose a similar amount or not
