I Love Lipstick But I Have A Lot Of Acne And Scarring In My Chin Area

Acne On My Chin?

I have the same problem!! Well, at least I think I do.... I am 13 and I break out along my forehead, chin and get black heads on my nose. Its not a horrible case, but who wants to walk around showcasing acne? Am I right? I have asked this question many times, to many different people. I have found that cutting back on sugars, greasy food, and drinking LOTS of water helps! Usually I am right on top of things, I have a HUGE case of OCD, but lately I have been a little lazy about my acne, not giving a care in the world, being ticked that it won't go away, and doing that makes it gradually worse. Yes, STRESS! Don't stress out, for most people that will make you break out really bad! When I was about 11 1/2 I started getting acne, and once I started getting it I put a mask on every other night, I have found that it works VERY well! Also, don't keep with the same face cleanser for too long. I am not dermatoligist, but I guess bacteria can find its way around the face wash if you use it for too long. So change it at least every 2-4 months... so just when you run out of your face wash! Be sure to eat your vegitables, and fruits! It seriously helps! Also, this may sound really gross, but put toothpaste and honey on your face!! Don't wear too much makeup, completely wash your face, morning and night. Use hot water to wash your face, then run a cold damp cloth over your face to close your pours. Make sure to be excercising! And carry a CLEAN cloth with you to wipe the sweat off your face!!! WASH your cloths, sheets, and pillow case very often!! One last thing, I have found that using peroxide on my face works!! GOOD LUCK!!! Its a hard process, but beautiful skin is SO worth it!!

Covering up acne, beach makeup?

Yes I can help. but first a word of encouragement: I had acne when I was a teen, it goes away after puberty (for almost everyone) most everyone goes through it.

Your best bet is to buy a sunscreen specifically for your face that has tan color to it (like a bronzer kind of thing) you want your sunscreen to cover up the acne as best as it can, you may need to go to a store that is high end to find a good product (not Walmart or sears etc.,) and talk to someone there about the best thing for your needs.

Also a hat that has holes in it (lots of little ones that let the sun light in) can help camouflage the face by letting lots of little lights of the sun in on it.

But in the end you have to do like everyone else and just wait until they go away someday. Mine were bad at 13 and 14, got okay from 15 - 17 and were gone by 18 never to return :)

p.s. if you can find the: Revlon Colorstay foundation the post above mentioned, give that a try...

What are your best tricks for an acne free and all around nice face?

If you're looking for a topical solution, try diluting some apple cider vinegar (acv) in water (water: acv ratio of 3:1) and applying it to your face with a cotton ball after washing your face. Wash you face with water 10–15 minutes after applyingI'd also recommend drinking water with a tbsp of acv before bed every night. Acne is the result of an acidic body (which is a result of an acidic diet) and acv will help bring up your body's ph level (i.e. become more alkaline)I've also written about my experience with acne. I believe diet is the key. Read below for more:When I was in high school I had acne issuesMy parents owned a convenience store, so, out of convenience (get it?), at least 1/3 of my daily meals/snacks consisted of items that my parents sold at their storeBreakfast would be bacon & eggs—everyday. Lunch was typically 2 Pizza Pockets, a bag of chips, and 2 cans of Pepsi. my after school snack was yet another bag of chips and another can of Pepsi. Then dinner was usually a home cooked Korean meal made by my momThis was back in the mid-1990s, so there was no Internet, which meant information was not wide-spread like it is today. And as a high school student, all I fretted about was studying, sports, my inability to get girls, and why my paunch wouldn't go away despite playing every sport out there. Nutrition was the last thing in my mindBut today we know that a happy exterior depends on a happy interior. Another way to look at it is, "garbage-in, garbage-out"If you fill your body with garbage, then you're body will react in kind. Acne is the result of yoir body trying to expel the garbage you put into your bodyOf course, some people are more sensitive than others, but from my experience our bodies tend not to react well to 2 Pizza Pockets, 2 bags of chips, and 3 cans of Pepsi per dayEven today my body reacts if I put too much garbage into it. I've given up junk food, but I love wine. But if I love it too much, then my back breaks out in acneSo my advice is this: If you're really concerned about your acne, then give up that chocolate bar and anything considered "junk food". To make it even easier, don't eat anything that comes out of a package. Eat whole vegetables and fruits (not juiced). Stay away from soda pop (stick to water). Sweat regularly (exercise and sauna). And get as much sleep as you can fit into your scheduleYou're body will thank you

Can I use Safi for acne and acne scars?

I'll share my experience with Hamdard's Safi.I started using Safi from April, 2016 to December 2016. I usually get occasional pimples here and there, but they disappear in a week or so. After using Safi for a week in april, 2016 I had terrible breakouts on left side of my face. All were cystic, very big and it took nearly 5 months to clear up. And yeah, those tiny bumps that usually appear in forehead disappeared completely soon after using Safi.I could see acne clearing up from August, 2016. There was a nice glow on my face, weight was reduced by 2 kgs. But my skin became more sensitive that I stopped touching my face. Even the slightest touch brought red rashes on my face. The worst part was that, I was getting married in Jan, 2017. Since I stopped using Safi from Dec, 2016 I started breaking out even more. Even more than before, and 2 days before my reception I took a facial and that was my greatest nightmare. The scrubbing part of that facial caused my face to get swollen and my face was completely ruined with rashes. I was crying terribly before my wedding looking at my skin's condition. This was me in October, 2016. When my acne got cleared up due to Safi but skin remained sensitive though. This was me during my marriage. Though makeup has covered most of my rashes, bumps were visible on my chin and forehead. Also, rashes were more prominent on my left side. Since I don't have a pic of my left side couldn't share the same. Now, I started taking care of my from within by taking plenty of water, fruits and veggies. Stopped using cosmetics on my face and see a beautiful result. This is me now( Also I'm a new mom) :)Safi also had effect on my monthly cycles. They got delayed several months. Thanks for reading my answer. :)

Best foundation to cover acne?

Hi, I am 17 years old and I am really disappointed with my skin, actually I can barely look in the mirror these days. But anyways, I have moderate acne on my cheeks and a few scars there too. Luckily, I don't often get new spots but I have had this acne for about a year now, and am still dealing with the aftermath of severe acne.

So, I am looking for the best foundation that 1) gives flawless results, will completley smooth out my skin, covering up the acne so that it looks like I have no acne 2) doesn't go cakey or dry out my skin, gives my skin a bit of moisture perhaps? 3) doesn't look like a mask, and gives me a healthy glow (maybe i need a brozer or something with it?), as I always look really ill, tired and pale in photographs, kinda like a zombie. I really don't feel prettty at all.

I've tried Bareminerals, Estee Lauder (expensive, very drying, mask-like, didn't give enough coverage), Origins Youthtopia (was good...but don't know if best, and its been discontinued).

I'm quite interested in Mally foundation, Laura Geller, ByTerry Cover Expert.... the price of the foundation isn't an issue but i understand that not all expensive foundations are great, just as not all cheap foundations are rubbish. I don't really know how to do makeup, my basic routine is cleanse, moisturise, put foundation on and a little bronzer, it looks terrible! I don't actually know where to start or what tto buy, i have no idea about eye makeup, never done eyeliner, should i use a primer? blusha? i need someone to teach me how to do makeup! please help!! i see all these people in magazines and want to look like them, all the girls at school are so pretty too :(

Do you find yourself attractive? Do you think others find you attractive?

Atractive…Do I consider myself attractive? I’d say I’m fairly ok in the eyes of others, I get an incredible amount of positive comments on my naturally dark eyebrows, and I’m constantly told I have an incredible smile that “transforms” my face, and comments on my small nose and mostly clear skin are frequent. But I am actually very insecure about those very things. My eyebrows if not groomed correctly can make me look like some hairy monster, and if I were to let them grow my unibrow I’ve had since birth would resurface, I worry my nose is to small to my face in comparison with my sorta biggish eyes and as for my skin, I worry one day it’ll go away an I’ll be left hopeless. But my biggest insecurity is actually my cheeks, and my chin.I had an open bite really early as a kid, and it was a really bad case as well. I was on retainers as early as 4–5 years old, and all my surgeries went on to sorta screw up my jaw and chin area.As for my cheeks, I’ve always been chubby even as a baby and it’s always been the epitomy of my insecurities, I constantly hide them behind curtains of hair and rarely ever have my hair up in fear of looking more like a chubby new born. I get anxious without having cloth around my arms and as I have long dark hair on my arms as well. The worst part is, I do get compliments and I do get some fair attention, but most of the time I can’t see it. And it destroys meThis is me, actually looking fairly decent in my eyes and with my teeth fixed(I finished my 10 year treatment last year and exceeded any expectations my dentists had), this a rare appearance of me without any form of jacket/ sweater/ or any kind of covering over my arms. And my hair is held back from my face in a clip, something I do almost never but I had a dinner and decided to clean up a little even if I felt uncomfortable. You can’t really see my chin from this angle. But as much as my opinion of myself destroys me, I’m trying everyday constantly to work on myself and how I see myself. One day I hope I can get to the point I can look at myself in the mirror and not have a queasy feeling in my gut that makes me want to cry and turn away, or be able to look at myself and not point out every single flaw but to look at myself and be able to point out the things that make me, me. The things that make me a better person and the things tht others appreciate and learn to love them and appreciate them back, that’s all I wish for anyone and everyone.

Is there any difference in cheap makeup (covergirl, maybelline) and more expensive makeup (MAC, Lancome)?

I am getting married in July, and I have an oily face. I also have acne scars, so I'm looking for makeup that will look the best in my pictures. I want great coverage, but I don't want to spend a whole lot unless it's going to make a noticeable difference. Will the difference be equal to the amount of money I spend?

What is the best foundation and concealer for acne?
