Marijuana's therapeutic uses are well-documented in modern scientific literature. The studies indicate that marijuana provides symptomatic relief for a number of medical conditions, including nausea and vomiting, stimulating appetite, promoting weight gain, and diminishing intraocular pressure from glaucoma. There is also evidence that smoked marijuana and/or THC reduces muscle spasticity from spinal cord injuries and multiple sclerosis, and diminishes tremors in multiple sclerosis patients. Patients and physicians have also reported that smoked marijuana provides relief from migraine headaches, depression, seizures, insomnia and chronic pain, among other conditions. and as far as sexual disfuction NO not at all i assure you actually it makes sex feel way better and you said you want honest answers well then i suggest you dont read most the other answers i have facts to prove what im saying ...they dont and if you have any other questions about marijuan feel free to message me and i suggest you visit www.norml.org

Mature age for smoking weed?

i wouldn't say theres a certain age you should start smoking. i would say that it depends on your maturity level.get all your priorities straight and you will be fine. you are responsible for your actions. i also believe that drug use (not hard drugs) is ok if its not abused and you are able to put it secondary for something more important. and i hate when people just close there mind up to it when they hear its illegal so therefore your stupid for doing it...if you really did your research on weed you will be surprised about some of the reasons its illegal....watch american drug war. great documentary...its always best to know both sides of something before making a complete decision

Is smoking weed every day bad?

I am an ex-pothead. I smoked pot all day, everyday for at least seven years. I quit for six months and only smoke occasionally now. I can't say that smoking everyday is truly bad for you other than taxing your lungs and increasing your risk for cancers. Obviously, everyone will die someday but you will benefit from taking better care of your body. When I;m clean in feel better about myself and more motivated, when I am stoned I also feel the same way. But the feeling of kicking an addiction is like no other, it gives you a sense of power.

Think of all the money you could save from not expending money on drugs and pieces. There is nothing really wrong with smoking all of the time and it can be quite enjoyable but it is up to you and your own morals to judge your habit. Other than money that could be saved and cutting potential jobs that you could apply for in half there is nothing terribly wrong. I don't think that you are a bad person for smoking.

I know I'm all over the place but what I'm trying to say is that this is only for you to decide. Be safe, only buy from people who are trustworthy (you don't want to get arrested do you?) and try to stay healthy in other ways.

What are the permanent side effects of smoking weed?

What are some of the permanent/semi-permanent side effects of smoking weed? And not like obvious ones like cancer and stuff. Also, a lot of stoners that I know seem to always have bags under their eyes even when they aren't high.. is that from smoking weed so much or is it just because they're tired or something?

Does smoking weed help studying?

i agree with some answer that stated if the work including creative thinking, such as painting, creating artwork etc, smoking some weed might be useful to enhance your performance, i remembered watching a documentary about some famous painter from france smoke weed while he paint because apparently according to him smoking weed while painting make him less criticize of his own work thus he is more relax. From my own perspective, i can never study or do revision while being stoned. however, i remember one time i was rushing a 3850 words law essay, i couldn't link up between some of the paragraph and the conclusion, so instead of finished up the essay which i have to hand it in 2 days afterwards, i was so eager to smoke weed after a whole productive day.. so i smoke a big fat joint. while under the influence, i was chilling, eating some foods, listening to music, then accidentally alt-tab my essay so i just read through it casually. then, BAM ! i added in a few sentences and all the essay suddenly make sense as all my points and conclusion are linked up ! Amazing isn't it how some substance could really mess with your mind. so, i wouldnt say that smoking weed is a compulsory things to do while studying, but smoking a few to relax doesn't make any harm.On the other hand, some of my friend can take a full cap of bong hit before entering the exam hall as they claimed that smoking weed help them to focus and think outside of the box. for me, i don't know, i think if i smoke a full cap of bong hit before an exam, i'd spent the rest of examination time looking at the ceiling, let my thought rush here and there, thinking about when will the exam end so i could smoke more.. idk. its just my opinion.

What will happen if i smoke weed everyday?

Marijuana doesn't kill brain cells (on the contrary, it spurs new brain cell growth).

The study that suggested marijuana kills brain cells, came to that conclusion by putting gas masks on monkeys. They were literally suffocating the monkeys with smoke. It's an obvious fact that suffocation will lead to brain cell loss and possibly brain damage.

Marijuana doesn't cause cancer.

What are some of the side effects of smoking weed?

Depending on the quantity, quality and method of consumption, marijuana can produce a feeling of euphoria — or high — by stimulating brain cells to release the chemical dopamine. When smoked or otherwise inhaled, the feeling of euphoria is almost immediate. When ingested in food, it takes much longer, even hours, for the drug to signal the brain to release the dopamine, according to the National Institutes of Health.Other changes in mood can occur, with relaxation frequently being reported. Some users experience heightened sensory perception, with colors appearing more vivid and noises being louder. For some, marijuana can cause an altered perception of time and increased appetite, known as the “munchies.”The impact can vary by person, how often they have used the drug, the strength of the drug and how often it has been since they have gotten high, among other factors.Other effects, according to the NIH, include:    Feelings of panic, anxiety and fear (paranoia)    Hallucinations    Increased heart rate    Trouble concentrating    Decreased ability to perform tasks that require coordination    Decreased interest in completing tasksWhen coming down from the high, users may feel depressed or extremely tired. While marijuana use produces a mellow experience (users are sometimes referred to as “stoners”) for some, it can heighten agitation, anxiety, insomnia and irritability, according to the NIH.
