What are a few cool things in Minecraft?

Well, it depends on the type of cool thing you want to discover. Like they hide some easter eggs in Minecraft to surprise you, and for example, REALLY rarely, you’d see Minceraft as the title instead of Minecraft when it starts up. If you’re more into building and exploring the world, here are some things you may have not known. You can place a minecart on a rail and break the rail, and the minecart can just be sitting there. You can make computers with redstone or even flying machines. Those are just some tips or things you might want to check out. Have fun!

How can I get amazing at building in minecraft?

Becoming good at building in Minecraft is similar to becoming good at anything. It involves several steps:#1: BuildMost obviously, to improve at building, you need to build a lot, ideally every day. I'll reiterate what Pave; Drotár said, that most of your initial work will be terrible. In order to build great stuff you need to build some terrible stuff first. Make sure to build different types of structures and different styles.NOTE: Save all of your builds for future reference. This will be invaluable later.#2: Study OthersBuilding alone will help you build better and generate better ideas, but to improve further and faster you should also study others' creations and ideas. With a quick Google search I found several that seem to be worth reading:BenJ's Ultimate Guide to Making Things Look Good v2.0 How to make a building look great 10 Helpful Minecraft Building Tips and Tricks And a cool reddit page: What are the secrets to becoming a good builder? • /r/Minecraft If you really want to stand out, study real-life architecture.#3: CollabarateJoin a build team, submit your creations to popular forums, and build maps. This will accelerate the learning process and help you create real, valuable creations. Map builders for servers are always in high demand, and many are paid for their work.

How do I build cool stuff in Minecraft?

What are you looking to build? You say both ‘impressive’ and ‘impossible’ in the same sentence, so I assume you mean something massive like:Stop scrolling. Look at the picture. Look closely. What does the building do quite consistently? See it yet?The walls. They’re in a pattern. The pattern is replicated and connected with plain-looking pillars to make copying easy and less confusing. The roof. There’s a pattern in the upper roof, too. It seems to be metered by the walls directly below it. The lower roof seems a bit shallower and plain so as not to take away from the grandeur of the walls. The front facade. Not quite a pattern, but it’s a mirror image right down the middle. It sticks out from the rest of the build, and that massive window in the upper half draws your eye to it.The left and right halves. They’re not quite identical. One side is visibly taller. The other side is low and small. It seems to throw the building visually off balance, but it does so in a way that makes this particular photo angle rather stable. If I were taking photographs of this building, I wouldn’t have a shot with the left half in the foreground unless the right half of the building wasn’t in the shot.So far, I’ve only used one example with one photo. This is where your ‘homework’ comes in. Spend time looking at various builds. Look at the things I haven’t touched on yet (color choice, block choice, landscape…) and see if you can draw any parallels between them. Then, try making some patterns. Build yourself a few of them. Try out different designs and colors. See what really fits the theme you’re going for.

Can someone give me a cool minigame I could build on Minecraft PS3 edition?

OOOOOHI have Minecraft PS3 Edition! It seems like we are a rare breed nowadays…Anyway, that aside, there are a few cool things I like to do with friends by using create mode to create maps, and then using either Adventure mode (no mining) or Survival Mode to battle it out, PVP.The first is what we call the Dwarf Challenge, which is adapted from an old Reddit post I can’t seem to find. Basically, each player digs down a random amount of blocks (in create mode) (random number generator) and can not, under any circumstances, return to the surface. You’re allowed some wood, a chest (that you put everything in to start the challenge), a bed (you have to sleep in it to change your spawn point), some sugarcane, a pickaxe, one sapling of your choice,  and either carrots or seeds. You basically have to create a life for yourself underground, but if you come across any other players, you have to try and kill them and take their supplies. Some hectic battles can ensue over this one.Another is the “Wall” challenge. You build a giant wall, to the build limit, straight through the middle of the map. It can be hollow, but it needs to be 10–20 blocks thick. Each side has an even amount of players, and they have to build a villiage (or series of) and collect enough resources to breach the wall (populated by iron golems on top, and creepers inside), and defeat the players on the other side, who have to defend their village. You can’t really beat a good Wipeout platformer, where each player builds obstacle courses using pistons and redstone to make a challenging run, and the other players compete for time.If you’re singleplayer-ing it, you could make a shooting range, by creating a mini biome, and then filling it with chickens, and use them for target practice. You could also make a basketball court, by using weighted pressure plates, and practice throwing items through a “hoop”, with a ladder to collect them later. You could make a hedge maze using tree clippings, or just solid blocks. You could also build a giant monopoly board, and use mine carts for the markers, gems for the currencies…. and…that’s about all I got.
