I Need Help Remembering A Commercial

Car commercial song, do you remember?

A few years ago there was this car commercial that had an amazing instrumental and the car was driving up some sort of cliff. It`s really vague in my memory...does anyone remember the song?..I'm not sure what kind of car it was.

I need help remembering what anime this is?

So I've been wondering this for a long time. I remember YEARS ago, back when Toonami was being aired on cartoon network, I saw a commercial of some guy dressed in red (I think) firing a bullet at someone(thing?) and saying "this is my last shell". It was an anime. If anyone could tell me the name of the anime, I'd be extremely grateful. This has been driving me insane for years.

What is the earliest tv commercial from the 70's that you can remember ?

Plop plop fizz fizz oh what a relief it is ---alka seltzer

MAMMAA MIA, that's a Spicy meatball

I DO remember the "I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV"
and

Bagel with your temptee sir..."A BAGEL?!?! WHAT'S A BAGEL?!?!?

She takes de lime and dee coconut and drink it all up...

Calgon...take me awayyyyy.....

Any stupid Irish Spring commercial, where he is cutting the soap with a knife..

Sometimes you feel like a nut.. sometimes ya don't...

Does anyone remember the lyrics to an old TV commercial that goes...?

Who walks the stair without a care
It shoots so high in the sky.
Bounce up and down just like a clown.
Everyone knows its Slinky.

The best present yet to give or get
The kids will all want to try.
The hit of the day when you're ready to play
Everyone knows it's Slinky.

It's Slinky, It’s Slinky
for fun it's the best of the toys
It's Slinky, It’s Slinky
the favorite of girls and boys.

What anime is the guy from the Anime Network commercial from?

I was watching the Anime Network on Demand earlier. There's this commercial that goes something like: Are anime fans born or created?
Then, after the narrator says 'created' a scene pops up with a blue haired blue eyed guy opening his eyes. It looks almost sci-fi/mecha to me from the feel, since there were scientists around him.

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone remember those Lookie Loo Commercials that ran in the late 1970's?

I still have the jingle memorized,

Oh, your house is for sale, and they're coming to you
They're coming to you cause they're the lookie loos

You put your house up for sale, but all you get are Lookiloos, just looking and looking.

Why is it that commercial jets engines are way smaller than I remember, and makes a third of the noise?

I can’t help your memory on size, but they have been made intentionally quieter, partly because of the public’s increasing expectations regarding noise abatement. Even first generation turbofans put out a lot of noise, though it was less than “straight” turbojets. For about the last 40 years or so, “high-bypass” has been the most popular design and most fuel efficient, especially for airliners. Bypassed air from the fan or fans, is routed around the engine, rather than through it, often nowadays as much as 80% bypass. When this accelerated airstream meets up with the hot core airstream from the turbine exhaust, it breaks the hot exhaust stream up into a bigger, slower moving airstream. In pneudraulic science, Pascal’s Law states that as the speed of an air or liquid in motion slows down, pressure goes up, augmenting the thrust and quieting it down as well. High baypass fanjet engines have gotten so big now that several manufacturers are studying designs with a fan gearbox to slow the fan speed down, to keep the blade tips from going supersonic. Supersonic blade tips would create tremendous, ear splitting noise. Russia’s TU-114 airliner used turboprop engines with contra-rotating blades which did go supersonic at the tips. This same engine, used on the TU-95 “Bear” bomber made so much noise, that even from 30,000 feet up at cruise altitude, our SOSUS sensors on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean could hear them. The SOSUS sensors were put there to listen for Soviet submarines transiting into the Atlantic Ocean, some are several miles down on the ocean floor, so I trust you can appreciate the noise levels created by four of these 12,000 horsepower engines.

Do you remember the old Fig Newton jingle?

Ooey, gooey, rich and chewy inside.
Golden, flaky, tender cakey outside.
Wrap the inside in the outside,
Is it good? Darn tootin'
Doin' the big Fig Newton.
(Here's the tricky part)
The big Fig Newton.
(One more time)
The big Fig Newton.

Much more disturbing than remembering the jingle is remembering the Big Fig guy dancing around singing it:

TV show 'Moonlight' commercial song?

I believe it is "Taking Chances" by Celine Dion. I seen the commercial earlier and it was in the bottom left hand corner.
