I Need Help With School Drama

Please help!! Middle school drama?

Hey, so I'm going into 8th grade and so far middle school has been nothing but DRAMA. At first it was fun now it's just aweful. It's like sometimes i feel like I have close friends then drama comes and tears everything apart. It's like you constantly hear people saying things behind your back about you but they won't say it to my face! Yeah, I know I shouldn't care what people say behind my back and all but I do exspecially if I thought this person was my "friend". But anyway anyone else having a hard time? or any advice to staying away from drama but still fitting in? Sorry this is so long haha :)

I HATE High School Drama.... :/?

I don't know...
I need some type of advice! :(
Here's my story. [Long) Smh.
I'm the nicest person you might ever meet but lately I've been changing..
I know I can't keep trying to live a life trying to please everybody or I'm going to live a life full of misery and regret..
But I can't help it! :/
For some reason ever since I started talking more which started before high school it seems like all the girls have liked me less.
Some tell me their jealous but I don't understand why!
Cause I have friends and I guess they think I'm a hoe cause I'm friends boys who I don't give a care for like that!
But it's not what it seems like and I just don't know how to deal with EVERYBODY talking behind my back or how to handle it cause it hasn't happend to me before....
Who can I turn to.... :/
Nobody's here.
I don't feel sorry for myself but I just need a truee friend right now.

How do I deal with middle school drama?

You stay out of it as best you can. There’s a big reason why.Last year, in 8th grade, my friend cut herself in school and almost tried to bleed to death. I decided to get in the middle of it. Why? Because this girl had been with me through thick and thin. She was my closest friend from 4th to 7th grade. The only reason I stopped being close with her was because it was having a negative impact on my mental health.I got in the middle of it because she was there for me when I needed her most. I had to do the same.I was shunned by some people for getting caught in it. I lost a lot of people I once considered friends. As of now, I consider them acquaintances. To this day, I am still looked down upon as a “drama seeker” and a “attention whore”.Now, I am pretty sure your drama probably is not as serious as mine was, but seriously, don’t get involved. Even if it is with your friends, do NOT do anything. If you get caught, remain neutral. Do not talk bad about anyone, do not fight anyone, do not try and switch schools.Good luck.

Typical high school drama. Advice needed!?

I'm a sophomore in high school.
Long story short, my best friend is a guy. We were really good friends with a girl who ended up backstabbing me by totally ruining things with this guy i REALLY liked who really liked me. We made up, but then I found out she was talking about me behind my back saying she doesn't like me and doesn't want to hang out with me. She even tried to kick me out of our little circle of friends. My best friend (the guy) got pissed off because she started being rude to him too. We are looking for new places to sit at lunch but I don't want to become distant with my other friends at our original lunch table. So now everything is messed up. I have no idea what to do. Any advice guys?

Middle School Drama/backstabbed.fake friends. lies. Help please ?

Hi, I am also 13 years old and a 7th grader. I sort of understand what you are going through. At the beginning of the year, I became really good friends with this girl, Sara (name has been changed). We became really close, and I told her about my brother, who has autism, and my parents, who have gotten divorced and had decided to go back to court. It was a really stressful time for me, and I felt like Sara was there to help me. Also, I was hoping that this year would be a fresh start because last year I had a breakdown and was horrible in school, academically and socially. I had this reputation as a crybaby because no one knew what I was going through. This year, I had made a reputation as the funny, sarcastic, artistic girl who wasn't afraid to argue her point and talk back to the teacher. I was confident in myself. One day, I heard some kids snickering at me when I walked by. I didn't know what was going on. One of my other really good friends, Jeannie (name has also been changed) told me that everyone was talking about how my parents were divorced and how my brother had autism. Later I learned that Sara had told lies, too. She called me a b****, telling everybody that I had stolen her boyfriend (even though he just broke up with her because she was controlling) and how I made up rumors about people and how I was a crybaby. People took her side because she was sort of popular, and so I just had me, Jeannie, and Sam (name has been changed), her boyfriend. People were very rude to me, and people would always whisper mean things to me. I have to say, it sucked. But I just ignored it, and went on. I decided that if that's what people thought I was, I would have to prove otherwise. Eventually, I started making friends with more people, and soon I had a lot of friends. People started noticing how nice I was, and they stopped being so mean. Now, it's better, but there are still people who make fun of me. The best you can do is ignore it, look ahead, and move on. Don't be afraid of what people say. When people say things to you, just ignore it and don't look unnerved. If you look scared or upset, they will taunt you even more. Just be confident in yourself. Good luck with Lisa and Sharon, and I hope that you will turn out fine.

Nervous about high school drama play. please, any advice!!!?

I'm performing in a one act next month called "Kissing Scene", and I need to kiss my counterpart about 25 times throughout the half hour play, so I feel your pain. It's even harder because she's my friend, so it's going to be awkward. However, I just go into rehearsal every day knowing that it's just as awkward for my friend and that it's NOT REAL! As for performing in front of your town, I'm taking the lead in a musical next week that I will be performing 9 times. Also, it's not my first musical, so how I have dealt with it in the past is just to get really psyched up for it. If you get excited enough (and I mean EXCITED!) it will be SOOOOOOO much easier :) Also, make sure you know your lines inside and out. I find that it is so much less nervewracking to perform a song if I don't have to think about what I'm singing because it's coming out natural, so I can focus on acting and really SELL the performance!!!

Will taking a high school drama course help me become a better actor and potential skills I need to become a Hollywood-worthy actor?

Taking a drama course will certainly help you. You should also join your local amateur dramatic group. You will be best helped by going to an acting school, like RADA. However Alan Howard, the greatest stage actor in the last 100 years, never went to drama school. Instead he worked with small theatrical groups, first as an assistant stage manager, then later taking on small roles. He went on to become the jewel in the crown of British acting, especially in the Royal Shakespeare Company.
