The first Korean drama that I watched was Innocent Man starring Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won. It’s a really great drama. It’s kinda sad yet frustrating yet beautiful drama hahaha. If you’re looking for some dramas to start watching either cos u have nothing to watch or cos u wanna start watching kdramas, here are some…Good Wife - This was personally one of my favourite dramas so far and I really recommend this one !!Mad Dog - This drama is currently still airing therefore it isn’t complete but I cried so much because of this drama and the plot is extremely exciting and part of why I’m watching this drama is bcos I ship Ha-Ri (Played by Ryu Hwa-Young) and Min-Joon (Played by Woo Do-Hwan) so ya thumbs upppWhile You Were Sleeping - This is another great drama that’s still airing but this really wowed me with the plot. The recent episodes are just amazzinggggg. It can be quite annoying sometimes how they know the future and they can’t do anything about it but it’s still great. Stars Suzy and Lee Jong Suk.Oh My Geum Bi - super touching story of a daughter and her father who slowly build their relationship. However, the daughter falls sick and struggles to survive. Super recommend if you like touching yet cute dramas.Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo - If you like rom-coms you will rly like this and I think this is a pretty great intro to kdramas. Stars Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk.Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon - suuuuper cute rom-com as well starring Lee Bo Young, Ji-Soo and Park Hyung-Sik.The Guardians / Lookout - This is one of the best dramas of 2017 in my opinion. It’s about a ‘squad’ that worked together to catch criminals. Do you like watching Korean dramas?

Yes I do, for some reason I keep getting back to watching K dramas time and again. The first one ‘She was Pretty’ was introduced by my sister and she said its super funny and quite engaging. I did find it hilarious not to mention that the lead heroes were indeed engaging. A lot that happens in these shows, we Indians can relate to. I like how the leads who are poles apart fall in love and almost every single of them that I have watched had the protagonist associated with some childhood trauma and hence can pass off his khadoos behaviour.. I dont know if its a common phenomenon there or is it just how its scripted. Either ways I love binge watching these for the sole reason that it ends in 16–20 episodes unlike the India soap SAGA that continues like forever with cheap dynamics.KDrama Plots havecomedy sometimes subtle yet mostly cleanActing is top notchAgain, great story line, interesting characterizations and not so predictable twistsHeroes are mostly super rich CEOs and heroines are way too poor and hard working.The way their love story progresses brings in butterflies galorePicturesque locationsCan learn korean language. No trust me- Ajussi/Stranger, Dey/Ok, Noona/Sister Oppa/Unni calling a Boy/Girl etcGives me the same happiness of reading a book and can complete one season in a weekend. That means by the end of it my eyes would be puffy and red.
