They say that if they waited to be perfect, or even good, they would never have started.As far as voice from other videos —Be careful of copyright issues. You can’t get into trouble with your own voice. You can research and write your own scripts, or take on lots of knowledge and speak in your own words.If you find or commission some audio that is CC0, or completely free for your use, drag it into the audio line of iMovie and move it around (or move the video around) so that the audio and the visual match up.There is much wisdom out there that advises to:script firstmake audio secondmake visuals and sync them lastbut you can do whatever suits your workflow and what you like to do.As for your video, it is unavailable for me, so I can’t comment on that. But about video making in general:You like being creative, so making your own is a good idea. It often happens that the more you’d like to copy or use other footage, the more you end up imposing your own creativity on it, so if you make from scratch, it won’t be such a bad thing.You may need some software, although it is not essential.
