I need new friends...?
So I love my friends and all but sometimes they do things that piss me off. Today my best friend asked my other 2 friends if they wanted to go over her house right in front of me..umm..? There's no way that she didn't realize, no way. And she's done this before. They all went out to lunch after a test and were talking about it in front of me. I know I can be a little sensitive and that's why it bothers me even more. I feel like me and my best friend are drifting and she's becoming really close with another one of my good friends (one of which she asked over) and then when I saw them later tonight they were telling me a story that happened and I just feel like it's so rude and just ugh. The four of us are really good friends, like a little group, and I just don't understand. I have a lot of friends but they're more of just acquaintances, they're my only true best friends and they kinda suck sometimes but I feel like if I loose them I'll have nothing. Life is awesome. I honestly wish I could just find some new friends sometimes

All my friends have moved away or i've stopped talking to them (alot turned all goth and antisocial which was a shame), i'm looking for some new friends to talk to through email i live in Newcastle, Australia, i'm 23 and i work as a programmer for an educational software company i'm engaged to be wed next year and i enjoy comics, literature, movies, sport and i'm interested in stuff like Dungeons and Dragons (although i've never played it.. nor do i know anyone who does) I'm a nice easy going guy who is looking for people to talk to, any age any gender anyone interested can email me through this site :)
I need to make new friends ASAP but I don't know how or where to start...?
I want to find new friends to hang out with. I am in college and last year I had a huge falling out with my best friend in my sorority. I found out she had spread lies about me for no apparent reason, and everyone hated me. I have disconnected from the whole group becasue all they do is gossip and sleep with each others boyfriends.....but I am very lonely and I need to find new friends. I can't really get completely away from them bc it's a small college town but I feel like I need to cut all ties and make new friends....I just don't know how...I am miserable!

Ok heres the thing i have a sweet baby girl Maggie! Shes a Dachshund Terrier Mix! She the sweetest dog ever and the best part about her she is good with my 2 year old! I am currently living with my grandfather who has a large German Shepard mix (Bud) which she absolutely adores! They have become the best of friends but the problem is that i am moving out soon to an apartment which only accepts small dogs (under 25 lbs) ! I need a new playmate for her! I am not willing to settle for just any dog i want a sweet doggie that will love her but MOST importantly love and treat my two year old good! It has to be a small dog! I want a good family dog that will love my Maggie and my daughter! Any suggestions would be appreciated! It's evident that you are quite insecure about losing your friend, that's why you’ve asked this question. In my opinion, you should not do anything. There's no need of it. Now you'd ask, “Why?” because, just like you, your best friend also considers you his best friend, isn't it? He would never let that friend come in between your friendship (if he truly considers you his best friend). True relationships are strong enough to handle every hardship and this is nothing in comparison to that. But, in spite of that, if your friend does say that you are not his best friend anymore, at some point, you can't do anything to change his perspective because a relationship requires the willingness of both persons to survive. Yes, there are problems, misconceptions, etc., but both persons need to row the paddles of a boat in order to reach the shore. In the end, the conclusion is that you don't need to fret just because of the addition of a new friend in his life because if he values you as much as you value him, nothing will come in between you two. But if he thinks that you are his best friend for quite a while and he needs a new best friend, you can do nothing to prevent that.
