40 oz of beer AND a 20 oz of coffee a good idea?
I'm going to get off work soon. I need a boost, because I'm feeling sleepy, AND, some beer might be nice too. I have been drinking fancy dancy beers for too long, so a 40 oz is in order.. for keeping it real.. Is this a good idea or not?? Don't suggest red bull, it has the amount of caffeine in 8oz of coffee, so I am getting 2.5x that in my cup of joe!

How do I make good coffee with a coffee machine?
I've two coffee machines, one Nespresso and a Dualit Bean To Go which is a big machine that takes whole coffee beans. I still struggle to make good coffee. What I don't get is how you'd make a standard coffee or latte, when you get coffee out the machines it's only as much as one shot...so do you just fill the rest with hot water or milk? It never seems enough to fill a cup and I always end up with too strong (all shots) or too weak (one shot plus water or milk) The Nespresso feels a lot more of a faff as if you want another shot it means another pod, warm water means removing the pods. Honestly these machines are a waste of money and effort (I got mine free), it's so much easier to just use a French press, but as I've got them I may as well use them...
What are some good "coffee shop" artists?
i need some new songs for my ipod but i dont know any really good artists. some of the music im in to is stuff like: Annie Little Audrey Assad Colbie Caillat Dashboard Confessional Feist Fine Frenzy Jack Johnson Landon Pigg Lenka Regina Spektor Etc. Good coffee brands in grocery stores?
I broke my husband's French press a couple of months ago. One of his Christmas presents is a new one. I bought a bag of Community Coffee last week and read a review that said it reminded the person of Eight O'Clock coffee, which my husband hates. http://img2.targetimg2.com/wcsstore/Targ… He loves bitter drinks. He drinks a gallon of hot unsweetened tea every day. He drinks his coffee black, unless it's disgusting, in which case he must add sugar or cream. He does like mochas, though. We were recently given an empty bag of Starbucks beans and took it for a free coffee. He got the bold coffee and he said it was actually too strong, which is unusual for him. So I need a brand that I can buy at Walmart or Publix. Please keep in mind that we don't have anything to ground the beans with and I'm already way over my limit for what I was supposed spend on him. If at all possible, please give specifics. If you say Starbucks, please tell exactly which kind. I know they have different roasts.
