My mom told me to go live somewhere else!!!?

It sounds like she's just a little over-worked at the moment. After she's had time to cool down and calm down, she'll come to her senses and things will return to as normal as it gets in your home. For the record, what is it that you did or said that sparked her off? For future reference, try and refrain from doing or saying anything to her that you know will send her off the deep end. Sometimes it means holding onto and biting your tongue, but in the long run, you'll find that it's better off... for everyone involved.

How long do you need to live somewhere to feel at home?

As others accept you as a part of the building, block, or neighborhood your domicile will become more homelike. Likewise as your children become accepted at school, church, etc. And it depends on how long you lived in your last home; habits with regard to details like the distance from stove to table can be hard to break if they were practiced for many years.

I'm homeless and need somewhere to stay?

My name is Michael, I am 18 years old, and I can't find somewhere to live. I have a history of depression, and other mental illnesses such as bi-polar disorder and its very hard for me to be on my own. I was kicked out of my house on my 18th birthday which caused me to move in with some other relatives. Lets just say things didn't work out. I've been homeless for about 2 months now and I can't find anywhere to live. I have applied to multiple different stores and crews several times but I never get a response. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't be in the streets anymore. I'm begging everyone I know but nobody will help me. So I turned to online things like yahoo. I'm asking for help someone, anyone, any age gender location whatever I just need somewhere to stay until I can get a stable job and pay rent and pay for food or whatever. If anyone could find the kindness in their hearts to help a young man down on his luck for a few months I will do whatever is necessary to make it work. I currently wander around New Jersey and my only form of communication is emailing from public libraries. If anyone could help me my email is mikepaschon@gmail.com or mikepaschon@yahoo.com

I NEED to live somewhere else besides my home (14 years old)?????? Please, please help.?

I have tried so hard to push through it but I can't,you may think I've just had a pity fight with my parents over idk a party or something, but no. My parents are abusive and neglective. They have both mentally and physically abused me in the past. The mental part of course cuts deeper but as for physical abuse, I've been slapped/punched in the face by my dad, pushed onto the ground by him, strangled by my mother as she yelled threats about hiring someone to murder me and ripping out my hair, they have both thrown crap at me (including a butter knife once) and my mother beating the **** out of me. They PRAISE, I mean, PRAISE my younger sister of 9 years. They will always listen to her, never punish her, cancel plans for her and then say that SHE'S neglected. My parents are constantly holding money over my head. Also, wouldn't you think a key part of growing up and having fun would be some fun sleepovers sometimes? Not to them, I'm not allowed anywhere with friends. They have isolated my sister and I by moving us out into the countryside which is 30 minutes from town. When I can drive in May (I will also have a job) I was thinking about getting my bank account information, all the money I have, my car and my things and move into an apartment and get a restraining order. I know at this age I probably can't do that but I also cannot live here any longer, I don't feel safe.Friends have offered their place but I don't feel right. What can I legally and rationally do to get away?

Do I need to register somewhere if I live outside India for more than 5 years?

My guess the Immigration Officer working at Emigration is old and from Lic Raj era.Back in the days of true License Raj, someone working for GoI or any state Govt could be arrested, prosecuted and even jailed, just for applying for passport, let alone going abroad. Those days, it was always mandatory to get ECNR (Emigration Check Not Required) for few countries (esp the Middle East) before departure and most importantly to register with the Indian Mission (Embassy / Consulate) upon arrival in the foreign country. Thanks to the near bankruptcy of India in late 80s/early 90s, then FM Manmohan Singh under the leadership of PV Narsimha Rao cut all the chords and India started to embrace open and global economic policies, which went on full steam with NDA govts and now the current govt is taking it whole new level.

I need to move somewhere that's always warm! What u.s. island or city has a college, good food and good surf?

La Jolla, CA.
Great surfing in the area, always warm, UC San Diego is 5 minutes away.
It is expensive to live there though, that's really the only drawback. But if you want great weather and surf you wont find anywhere that's known for a low cost of living.

I want to live somewhere tropical... is this realistic?

I'm just a teenager now but when I think about my future, I can't help but wish I could live somewhere tropical by the sea, possibly in the Caribbean... it's just the kind of lifestyle that I think I want most for myself. But I'm not the kind of person to dive into things without thinking them through, so I need a little help.

I would ideally want to live there year-round. I'm a little doubtful about how I could make that work. Does anyone know of a place where I could communicate in English, and that I could actually live in (i.e. somewhere where I could have a permanent residence/isn't just a vacation spot)?

I'd also like to know what kind of jobs and occupations could be available in a tropical place like this... I'm concerned because I know a lot of the revenue comes from tourist attractions. Are there any other stable jobs that tend to be available? I'd just like to make a decent income so that I could live comfortably, I'm not concerned with becoming super wealthy as long as I can make a living. That being said, the place would need to have a decent cost of living--I'm not poor but I'm not exactly rolling in riches either.

I guess I'm just asking if it's realistic to try to find a place like this, and if there are any specific locations people can tell me about?
