I Need To Delete All My Mail

I need to know how to delete all my email at once?

IN Yahoo - the inbox you can only delete 200 messages at a time
YOU CAN JUST EMPTY SPAM (CLICK EMPTY)

To permanently remove the contents of Trash, click Empty right next to it, on the left side of the page. A window opens up asking "Are you sure...?" Click OK to delete, or Cancel to close the window and not empty the folder.

After messages are emptied from Trash, they're permanently deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server and can't be recovered.

to make it a little faster:
You can change that to 200 at a time
Go to options
middle column: Management
Select General preferences then
under Folders
Messages/results per page:
Select 200 Show 10/25/50/100/200 messages/results on each page
You can then sort and put a check in the top box
then choose delete

The ONLY way you could do it all at once is to have a premium account and then you would be able to ZIP and archive all your mail
It really is not that bad (20 bux) I feel that it is WORTH IT to be able to zip the mail for reading later!

How can i delete ALL my emails at once?

Yahoo! Mail offers two ways to delete individual messages:

While viewing the contents of your inbox or another folder, click on the checkbox to the left of the message you would like to delete and click the "Delete" button at either the top or bottom of the list of messages.
If you're reading a message, you can click the "Delete" button at either the top or the bottom of the message.
If you're trying to delete several messages at once, this is the fastest way to do so:

Click the "Mail Options" link on the top right navigation bar and choose "General Preferences."
Find the Number of Messages (displayed at one time) heading and increase the value to 200 (the maximum).
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the "Save" button.
Return to the folder which contains the messages you would like to delete.
Click the "Check All" link (located beneath the list of messages or on the check box located to the right of the "sender" heading,) Clicking this link will select the first 200 messages in the folder (or all of the messages, if the folder contains less than 200).
Click the "Delete" button to delete the selected messages.
Repeat the above step for each screen full of messages in the folder, until all of the unwanted messages have been moved to the trash folder.
Aside from this method, there is no specific way to delete a particular folder's entire contents at once. When you delete messages in Yahoo! Mail, they're transferred to your trash folder. If you delete a message by mistake, you can find it in the trash and move it to your inbox or another folder in order to recover it. Please note that messages in your trash folder do not count against your quota. However messages in your trash folder can be deleted at any time without warning.

To permanently remove the contents of the trash, click the "Empty" link next to the trash folder in the left navigation bar. Next, you will see a prompt asking if you're sure you want to delete all messages. Click "Yes" to delete or "No" to return to the previous page.

Please Note: Once messages are emptied from the trash folder, they are permanently deleted from the Yahoo! Mail server and cannot be recovered.

How do I delete all my emails and start over with a new email address?

Do you really never want to receive email from that address again? You have no games or business or banking that you want to get updates on? No friends that have your old email that you want to ever hear from?  If you do, you can forward email from your old address to your new one. If you truly never want anything from the old email, there is usually an option (usually used for vacations) where you can have the email held on the server. Then never check it again. As far as how to delete all your old mail, it depends on what email client you are using. Usually you can go to the menu, select all and delete whatever is showing. Keep deleting until it is all gone.Microsoft (Hotmail) and Google (gmail) both have free email for your new account.Hope that helps.

Yahoo Mail; Delete old mail?

KK
My version to a solution, al-be-it crude, is as follows;

On your email inbox page (I am writing this on version 13th Jan 2015) click the drop down

menu labelled "VIEW".

Under that, select the "Sort By > Date" option.. to produce your oldest registered email at

the top of a list. This should display emails in ascending chronological order (forgive my

language!).. i.e. from oldest emails down towards the the youngest.

Then.. the more painful part... (but it works!), scroll down the email messages using the

scroll bar. Personally a quicker way is to place the mouse just above the bottom scrolling

arrow usually on the right hand side of the viewing page.

Having done that, (and this depends on the settings you have got for the number of pages to

display per page) scroll down the messages
to the last one you want to delete. i.e. if you

want to delete emails from January 1st 1999 to March 25th 2004, then the start of your list

should be January 1st 1999 and the end of your list March 25th 2004.

Right then. Select buttons CTRL and A simultaniously on your key board. This should

highlight all the email dates in your selected range (it worked for me several times!).

End=of now.. just press DELETE and all hell is gone!!

Hope that helps and good luck. Just remember that this is my personal contributary opinion

to those willing to try and not something for criticism.

All the best.

Kenado.

How do you delete all of your emails from your Yahoo account?

Peter’s link to wikihow is a good step-by-step guide for deleting messages…if you only have a few of them.Unfortunately, if you have a *lot* of messages, you’ll discover that you can only delete 10,000 messages at a time that way. I have a folder with over 4 million messages in it at this point. Deleting them in batches of 10,000 would take more patience than I have at this point.I haven’t found a faster way yet to delete large numbers of messages from a Yahoo mail account—but that won’t stop me from pestering the developers until they tell me one. ;)

Our servers are feeling unloved."Now just empty the trash and delete all spam, and your account is now empty.
