I want an exciting life please help and tell me why or why not to do it
I don't have a degree and I wanna get out of the house

I want to be a marine biologist when I grow up, how do I start as a pre-teen?

do you live near a public aquarium? if so, contact them and find out if the have any junior volunteer programs (usually they offer these in the summer). i was always interested in marine life when i was younger, and started working as a volunteer tour guide and research assistant at an aquarium by my house when i was in 7th grade, and continued doing so until i graduated high school.

volunteering is a great way to get a hands-on feel for what marine biologists do everyday while gaining valuable experience doing something you enjoy. it demonstrates your dedication and looks great on applications and resumes later on in life. plus, when you finally graduate with your degree in marine biology, you'll have connections with the people you volunteered for and can apply for a job there.

it's great to begin exploring your interests early -- good luck!

Is what you’re doing now what you always wanted to do growing up?

I always wanted to be a physician and help patients to get better when I was quite young. When I was in high school, I learnt hard to get good marks and I was able to enter into medical school right away (no prep classes).I did 3 years of cancer research in Toronto/Ont., but realized that helping patients get better was my original goal. I decided to go back to clinical medicine, do another 2 1/2 years of a family practice program for foreign graduates in Canada before passing the Canadian licensing exam (LMCC). Now I could help patients get better and I did this for 16 years in general practice.I realized that I could have more holidays, have a regular salary and build up a pension plan, if I switched over to the Workers’ Compensation Board. I did this for another 16 years (WorkSafeBC). Then I retired in 2010.Since then I wrote 3 books:A Survivor's Guide To Successful Aging: With recipes for 1 week provided by Christina Schilling: Dr. Ray M. Schilling MD, Christina E. Schilling: 9781494765330: Amazon.com: Books . I published this book about anti-aging medicine in 2014.Healing Gone Wrong - Healing Done Right: MD Ray Schilling: 9781523700905: Amazon.com: Books. This book was published in 2016 and tells you about the pitfalls of treating symptoms rather than causes of illnesses.Prostate Cancer Unmasked: 9781542880664: Medicine & Health Science Books @ Amazon.com. I published this book in April 2017. I was diagnosed with early prostate cancer last year and had ablation cryotherapy done successfully. Since then my PSA values are normal. I felt that I should research the 9 common treatment modalities for prostate cancer that are in clinical use. I did my homework and compared 10-year survival curves for all these treatment modalities. Ablation cryotherapy scored much higher than the “gold standard” of radical prostatectomy. Also, side-effects are much less with cryotherapy.I am now realizing that I can still help thousands of patients by researching medicine on an ongoing basis. I am writing blogs twice per week and I continue to publish books whenever I feel like it. After all I am retired, enjoy dancing (ballroom and Latin) and traveling. Here are my blogs:Anti-aging blog Medical Articles by Dr. RayGeneral interest medical topics: News - Net Health Book

How do you overcome your fear of growing up?

How do you overcome your fear of growing up?You grow up.Seriously.When you are able to get a job, begin paying for all of your expenses, and taking responsibility for your own happiness, you will have grown up. You will see that it is a great feeling and nothing to fear. You will be so busy living you will have no time to worry about growing up.Fearing growing up serves little purpose besides adding stress and worry to your life. You actually can choose to not spend any of your valuable time worrying or focusing on something you can't change. (It's part of growing up, too.)Like it or not, you will get older, and someday you will die. You will have happy times and you will have sad times. You will learn that time spent worrying about things you can't change is a waste of time you could be spending having fun, enjoying life.

Im 15 and i dont want to get older or grow up. help?

Ok if someone really can help me please do it. Ive asked familiar questions like this and half of the people just made fun of me. Another amount of people went on and made no sence whatsoever about something totally irrelevant. I just turned 15 last month and i can honestly say it feels so eeird to say it. And it feels weird that its already 2012 theres nothing to look foward to as an adult or young man. I like the feeling that im still just a kid(secretly) because like any other kid my age would think im crazy but idk what it is i just miss my past when i was a kid. It sucks because my friends are rally good friends and at school they act different they dont acknowledge me as much as outside of school because they wanna be popular. But idc about that stuff. Outside school theyre really cool. I just fear thr furture. Every year has gotten worse for me since 7th grade. 7th grade wow this sucks i miss being a kkd, 8th grade damn i miss 7th grade this year sucks and i miss the age 12 and below and 9th grade damn what happened with my life? Im asking all these questions and wondering what to do everyones growing up, changing, no more toys, no more being a kid :'/, i realise i have more responsibility. I wish i can go back to elementary school and just have fun. I dont wanna move foward i cant believe in a year ill be 16 and itll be 2013. Thid is very depressing for me. Please help me out i just wanna be a younger kid again. Not knowing about sex or drugs. I dont do any of these i swear i miss it all. And so far no one seems to have helped me and i want the help
