I need motivation to go to school.?

It sounds like one of your first stops should be at the guidance counselor's office. It sounds like there is more going on than just plain typical motivation issues. And by now, you need an academic recovery plan in addition to a motivation plan.

Among other things, it sounds like you have no goals, a passion, a drive, a sense of need, or a sense of being needed. 14 is a pretty young age at which to give up in life.....

If your only motivators for going to school is to meet up with friends and have fun then, it is not exceptionally surprising that you are not as motivated anymore. And, it sounds like you're not particularly afraid of parental disappointment or punishment fear. Nor does it sound like you are particularly fearful of "what may happen" in terms of the school administration; either that or you are too afraid to address and solve. It is also likely that you are missing some critical academic skills that you are being called upon to use in your 8th grade work; not being able to succeed is sort of a downer in and of its self.

The question is, are you entering a depression, struggling socially or academically due to a lack of skills you should have already learned, or are you just now beginning to face a reality that not everything is "fun". Rather, that "fun", satisfaction, and motivation is often achieved only though successfully meeting challenges. Right now, it sounds like you have a number of challenges in front of you. The question is how can you maneuver through them?

In part, this is likely to require some negotiation with your school's administration and likely individual teachers as well. Further, going to talk to your guidance counselor and owning your actions is a learning, growing, and grown up thing to do. Owning your actions also means owning your mistakes and the remedies for your mistakes. Often, it is done one sub-task at a time, one hour at a time, and eventually one day at a time.... Do you have some substance issues as well? Overcoming substance issues, depression, and poor habits tend to all take the same path: making an empowered decision to take it one sub-task at a time, one hour at a time, and eventually one day at a time until you can see your way to one week, one month, one school term, one year, and even further into the future.

I'm sick but I need to go to school tomorrow?

Going to school means getting other peos sick and then you stay sick for longer. The more days you get rest at home the faster you'll recover. Drinking tea, medicine, sleep, and steamy showers is the best thing to fast recovery. I would recommend staying home but if it's something you can not redo or can impact you later on maybe you can do what you need to do at school and have a parent pick you up after it. Or just stay the whole day just don't get other people sick!

I WANT TO GET A DOG BUT I GO TO SCHOOL?

I strongly recommend not getting a puppy. They cannot go more than a few hours without being let out to potty and need a lot of training. A puppy would probably develop behavior problems if left alone so much as might a grown dog. Honestly it sounds to me like a cat would better suit your lifestyle at present. I understand your need for companionship, but in my experience dogs need more than what you are able to give at this time in your life. Yorkies have a lot of energy. Maybe you should try looking up some web sites that help you find the dog that suits your life style. Here is a good one. http://animal.discovery.com/breedselecto... Good luck!

I have diarrhea but I have to go to school?

Usually these stomach bugs can last around 24 hours, for now keep hydrating your body so you don't feel so weak.
Have you explained to your mother that your unwell? Don't force the decision of staying home from school, often parents need to make this decision on their own. If your mother can see that your truly unwell, she will probably propose the idea herself.
Explain your symptoms to her, maybe even exaggerate them a little if she is one of those parents that forces you even when your on your death bed.

If you do this and she still says no, then go to school but just go to the sick bay early in the day, that way at least you went to school and you tried to stay in class but you just couldn't.

Hopefully this virus passes before you have to ask or go to school.

Get well soon

Lost my voice and have to go to school?
