I Need To Know How To Copy Evrything From My Ipod To My Itunes

How do I copy songs from someone else's iPod onto my iTunes? How do I do this? I have a MacBook.

I did not try this with my MacBook and I haven’t done it in a long time. But… I just took an old iPod nano (the one that looks like a watch) and connected it to a Windows 8.1 laptop that also has iTunes installed.Steps:Connect the iPod USB cable to the PC - see picture at the bottom of this post. This started up iTunes but also opened the files on the iPod in Windows ExplorerIn Explorer, find the folder iPod_Control\Music There will be folders under that with names like F0, F1. In those folders are files ending in .mp3 but with names like DADR.mp3 - not very obvious what song that is.Optional but recommended - Copy those files to somewhere on your hard drive.Set the iTunes preferences Advanced to (see picture below)Keep iTunes media folder organizedCopy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to libraryThis is critical if you want the weirdly named files to be named based on their MP3 data - Artist, Album, Song name, etc.In iTunes open File -> Add folder to library…OOPS - this does not work!Neither does dragging the folder into iTunesMove to plan BBack to explorer and browse to the iPod_Control\Music folderSearch for *.mp3Highlight all the files it found - 78 in my case. - see picture belowDrag those files into the iTunes windowThat works and here they are:Here is iTunes before the import showing no songsiTunes preferences Advanced showing boxes checked (then be sure to click OK):Explorer window with all 78 files found and highlighted before dragging to iTunes:Here is a picture of the iPod nano connected to the ThinkPad laptop:

It automatically transfers your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos to computer and iTunes. Backup all your music and video in a couple of clicks. Really makes music and videos sharing pretty simple and enjoyable. Wish this can help and good luck.

Ipod itunes files to hard drive?

As someone else pointed out you can use EphPod, http://www.ephpod.com/ but I have used this program and it is very good. EphPod is also freeware and not shareware so you don't have to pay for it. You'll have to go through iTunes and enable "iPod drive use" otherwise EphPod won't see it. Then when you start EphPod you will select whichever drive letter Windows assigned to your iPod. Once you get into EphPod there will be an option to copy all songs to directory, do that and EphPod will being copying the songs on your iPod to whichever directory you chose.

Sometimes EphPod will appear to be "Not Responding" but my experience has been to let it continue working and it usually will finish.

Note that it will work on all iPods up to the iPod Photo but I am not sure about the 5G (Video) iPod, I see no reason why it shouldn't.

Stay safe.

Transferring songs from iTunes to another media / MP3 player?

Short explanation: I want a program that allows you to drag or copy songs from iTunes and drop them in another program, such as Media Player so that I can download these songs onto a non-iPod device. I've been told that such a program exists by several people (iPod techs and other music junkies), but either they COULDN'T tell me the name/application or did not know the name.
Does someone know the name/website of such an application?
Thanks!

Why does it keep saying "There is not enough room on iPod to copy all the requested files" on my iTunes?

I have a 2nd generation 8GB iPod Touch and starting yesterday night, everytime I try to transfer a song from iTunes to my iPod it says "There is not enough room on iPod to copy all the requested files." I don't understand why because I looked in the About section of my iPod and I have 1076 songs, 4 videos, no photos, and 4 applications (Capacity - 7.0 GB/Available - 95.3 MB). I had to delete about 10 songs from my iPod in order to sync the songs I wanted. It's also weird because certain songs would sync, while others wouldn't. What's going on with my iPod, is it that I'm almost out of room to put anything new on or is it another problem? I've had it for almost 2 years now and I've never had any other problems with it like this. All help is appreciated. Thanks.
