I Need To Loose Weight But I Love To Eat

I need to lose weight but I love chocolate. I have to have chocolate after I eat. How do I combat this?

Sweetie, I'm about to drop some mind blowing shit right now. People don't tell you this because A) If you knew this you wouldn't need to pay for someone for help, and B) Most people don't know what the fuck they're doing. It doesn't really matter what you eat, the only thing that really truly matters (when it comes to losing weight) is if you're in a caloric deficit by the end of the week. Meaning you're eating 100–500 calories less than your maintenance calories a day. So as long as you are hitting your deficit by the end of the week, drinking water, eating a sufficient amount of protein, healthy fats and fiber you can eat as much chocolate as you like DAILY. PEACE OUT GIRL SCOUT.EDIT; Guys, obviously I know that all calories are not equal. I always recommend eating 75%-95% “healthy” on a daily basis and the rest can be naughty foods. Like I said, you still need healthy proteins, fats and carbohydrates to provide your body with NUTRIENTS. What I’m saying is, is that you don't have to eat 100% clean in order to lose weight. Contrary to what many people believe, you can still enjoy the foods you love in moderation and lose weight. Many people who believe that you can't eat a certain type of food while dieting use this as an excuse not to be fit. When the truth is, people have gotten shredded while eating dirty. Is it ideal? No. Is it “healthy” for you? Most certainly not. But is it possible? Absolutely. I’m taking about LOSING WEIGHT not necessarily being “heathy”. This is why, being thin does not always equate to being healthy. In a nut shell; you should always try to eat whole foods to provide you body with nutrients but you can also still enjoy your life a look amazing.LET THEM EAT CAKE SHE SAID!!!!!

How do you lose weight still eating what you love?

Eating what I love in smaller portions.
I decided to eat healthier foods during the week, but foods that I love. So fruits and veggies that I think are yummy, I like almonds too, and chicken and turkey.
And then one day a week I let myself have junk food, so I could have some potato chips, or popcorn, or whatever.
But there are still some days during the week where I'd have a really really bad craving, and I'd just give in and have a cookie or two, or maybe have some butter-free popcorn.
And I still eat fast food, but only on occasion. So maybe, MAYBE once a month, if that.
And of course, exercising five days a week. And drinking lots of water.
I noticed the more I drank water and the less I drank pop, the less I wanted pop. Water is much more refreshing, and pop only makes you more thirsty.

I love sweets. How can I lose weight?

If overdoing it with sweets is your major roadblock when it comes to losing weight, try the following strategies:1. Restrict your intake of sweets to pre-planned days/times throughout week. This will help reduce your dependence on them for that sugar kick and help break up the every-day habit. It'll also help create a calorie deficit that you need to lose the excess weight. Even better, pair this with exercise for faster progress.2. Portion out your treats so that you don't overeat. For example, I allow myself 1 bite-sized Mars bar a day, so that's all I get. Once I'm done, I'm not allowed any more candy until the next day. It helps to NOT buy full-sized candy bars if you want to do this. 3. Eat slowly and savor every bite. You'll want to do this especially when your portions are smaller. Quite often, it's the mouth-feel/texture of the food we crave that we want, which is why we can't seem to get enough of it. Hunger isn't the driving force here.4. Speak to a counselor/therapist. Often, cravings for certain foods can have an underlying emotional link to them, and they can be triggered by emotions like stress or anger. Try going deeper than just addressing the food habit alone. Your therapist might be able to teach you how to divert your attention away from the sweets the next time cravings strike. Being accountable to someone else other than yourself will also take you a long way.5. Be kind to yourself. Changing your habits to encourage weight loss won't happen overnight. Chances are, it's taken you years to gain the weight, so expect to fall off the wagon a couple of times before making major progress. That's totally normal.Good luck!

Can you lose weight if you love eating a lot?

OK not that much, I occassionally skip out on desserts (not that we even have any..lol), and I usually drink lots of soup and pasta, and stuff, I also eat fruits and vegatables and drink some amount of water

How can I lose weight if I like eating a lot? (P.S. dont let me guess its cardio? :T)

I want to lose weight but I love eating. What should I do?

1- Eat More Oily FoodI’ve been to several restaurants with friends and acquaintances who are rather overweight. One common thread I’ve observed is that most of these people who are trying to live healthy are conscious of ordering something that is less oily.First hard truth: Eating less oily food has nothing to do with your weight loss..2- Never Run On TreadmillWhen I go to gym, I see that 80% of people running on treadmills are fat. They are thinking that if they do it for 30 minutes everyday, some day in the distant future they will be slim.Second hard truth is: No person in the history of this world has gotten slim by running on a treadmill..3- Eat 4–5 Times A DayFat people think that eating less, 1-2 times a day, will make them slim. It’s true that if you starve yourself you will lose weight. What you probably don’t know is that you primarily lose weight by reducing your muscles, not your stored fat.I eat between 2500 - 3000 calories a day on average. I stay between 10-12% body fat at about 75 kg.When you starve yourself and reduce weight, you are basically losing strength and stamina. You are getting weaker. Before you realise you will develop lower back pain and what not. Just don’t do it.Third hard truth is: To reduce stored fat, you eat A LOT – like 4-5 times a day. And you never miss breakfast..So How Do You Lose Weight By Eating A Lot?You change the composition of your food from being carb-rich to high in proteins and fats. You will never have to worry about eating a lot or counting your calories.

How to lose weight when you LOVE food?

I'm not super fat.. But I have some fat here & there. I look skinny but am not & It drives me crazy! I've tried to diet since March & I always fail. I exercised, & counted calories & did my diet successfully for a really short time losing 4 pounds.. I was originally 122 now I'm 118. I'm 15 btw. But now my weight won't budge at all. It's my fault too, I've gotten so lazy. I used to exercise everyday but now I can't think of anything but failure, & all the motivation just flew out the window. I just feel depressed now and I've slacked off my diet/exercise routine for 2 weeks. I thought this would last only a while I'm still 118 & my metabolism will turn slow soon..& every time I eat, ANYTHING, I quickly gain weight back to 118. That makes me afraid to eat, causing myself to eat little throughout the day & then binge at the end of the day making it raise up quickly. I'm going crazy because I don't think I can do this anymore. My goal is 100-105 but I love food too much & can't resist my temptations at the end of the day. I have a natural hourglass body & overall nice body, but seeing me have these awesome traits I can achieve but have the little bits of pudge on my body is torture more than anything I've experienced. It's there & I could wow people but food is preventing me from toning my body to get to its full potential. Help please.

I want to lose weight but I'm lazy and love to eat.?

Can anyone help me that has had this problem? I'm usually depressed, very sleepy, and I'm a huge procrastinator. A big thing is I LOVE TO EAT! It's hard for me to go on a diet and I usually give up after a week. I can stick to an exercise routine for a couple days but then fall off the wagon! Has anyone battled these issues I have? If so, how did you do it? how did you stay motivated? I need help!

I weigh 180 pounds 5ft 2in tall and I want to lose 50 or so pounds.

I want/need to lose weight, but I can't stop eating?

I'm fat. I know I am because I'm about 40-50 pounds overweight. I want to lose weight so bad and I try to eat well and exercise, but it's so difficult. The exercising part isn't too hard since I've found things I really like to do. But it's the eating that makes me so frustrated with myself.
For example, tonight at 10:30 I decided to eat a huge thing of nachos for no effing reason. I knew it wouldn't be a good idea, but the evil side of myself kept saying "don't worry, this will be the last time and you'll start eating good tomorrow". The moment I put the last chip in my mouth I absolutely regretted eating the nachos...
What can I do to stop this reoccurring cycle of bad eating habits?? This has been happening for the past 5 years and summer is approaching and I'm tired of seeing my downright ugly cottage cheese legs. Please, do you have any tips and suggestions? I really appreciate anything! And please don't just say "uh, just stop eating fatty". Trust me, I say that to myself everyday but it's obviously and sadly not working...
Thanks!

How do I lose weight when I love food so much? Every food not just chocolate crisps, etc.

Perhaps there is a mental/emotional component to this. Ever hear of "stress eating"? Many of us do it.Even bodybuilders & other athletes love their food, but they are hyper-aware that certain foods will simply satisfy only one level -like if they have a "sweet tooth". But eating too many sweets is detrimental to our mental as well as physical health on so many levels.I see these guys & gals on food shows, and I think "I wish I could eat like that!" All those wonderful dishes -YUM! But I also know that I have a tendency to gain weight easily, so I have to watch what I eat, how much, and how often.Ask yourself this: What do I want to do or be? Am I a diehard "foodie"? Then go for it. Love drinking alcohol? Go for it. Think of any vice, and while there is a perceived satisfaction on one level, there is most likely a hidden downside.Eat too much? Overeat in one sitting? Eat way too many times in one day without expending energy required to burn off calories consumed? You will most likely gain weight and not be able to lose it.It comes down to choices. If your goal is to lose weight, then you've got to choose foods which nourish your body, so you will have the energy to expend exercising -even if it's only fast walking several miles a day. OR...admit you really don't want to lose weight, you love food, and proceed.Proper nutrition is quite involved. Maintaining a comfortable & healthy body takes some forethough. Reward yourself at infrequent intervals so you are happy with the rest of the time you may spend watching what you eat, when, and how much in one sitting.Three things that will surely sabotage your efforts to lose weight: Eating the wrong things (empty calories laden with fat and/or sugar); eating too much in one sitting (overeating); and skipping meals.
