What is the most extreme song you like?
Lynne by Hachi. It is a Japanese vocaloid song and it despite its intensly melancholic and depressing lyrics it’s still my favorite. It’s about a girl (Lynne) who is dumped by her boyfriend after he only used her. Her parents find out that she was with him and they kick her out of the house.She is left to wander aimlessly around the train tracks with no home or shelter of any kind. she is offered help however after her betrayal from her ex boyfriend and her parents, she trusts no one, & starts to become extremely depressed & begins to loose hope of a normal and happy life.One day she sees her boyfriend with another girl, and In a jealous rage she looses the last of her sanity and chokes him to death. hence the term Lynne disease (idk if it’s a real thing.) she then realizes what she’s done and falling in to the altimate point of dispair she then steps in front of an oncoming train reaching her final braking point.It is extremely graphic and dark but I think I like it because it truly captures the full extent of despair of the human spirit and what intense pain can drive you to do. In one other version, Lynne is a reference to the Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. Lynne is apparently short for Lenore and it’s about her wishing she could reach her lover who is still alive after she herself has died. Sorry for the super long explanation just thought I’d share.
