I Require Sound To My Ext Speakers From My Ext Storage Device

What size speakers do I need for a '96 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext. Cab?

I need to know what are the size of the factory speaker slots in the front and back of a 96 Dodge Ram 1500 with the Club Cab. And if anyone knows this, what kind are the stock speakers?

Name three of each: input devices, processing devices, storage devices and output devices?

Input: Keyboard, any type of gaming controller like a joystick or wheel, bluetooth or IR devices.

Processing: CPU, GPU, sound processor, physics processor

Storage: RAM, ROM, HDD, any optical disk, flash drive, floppy drive, tape drive, server

Output: speakers, printer?? lol....force feedback from gaming controllers...data from CPU

I know some of those are not unusual, but i hope a couple are at least useful!

What is a sound system with 4 to 7 different speakers which sound excellent for around 220$?

The very first thing I would do is go to a specialist HiFi store and ask advice. Then shop around. You need to get an idea of what "sound" sounds like as all speakers are different and it becomes a personal choice. Also, while you're there ask them to play you some of their favourite tracks and listen to the "sound". It is a whole lot different from what you get from Mp3! I worry that a generation is growing up without an appreciation of what good sound quality actually sounds like and just accepts what comes out of their iPod or computer. I grew up in the days when sound was important and find it very difficult to listen to some cd's let alone overly compressed Mp3!Best advice is to find the professionals and ask them to help you. Go on.....you WILL be amazed by what you hear!

My MacBook has stopped showing 'Internal Speakers' in the Sound System Preference. I am not able to listen any audio. How to can this be fixed?

Did you plug anything in/change anything? You may be able to fix this by going to preferencesFirst, disconnect any external audio devices from your computer. Also disconnect any cables from the USB, FireWire, or 3.5mm audio ports. From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.Select Sound.Click the Output tab, then select Internal Speakers. If you don’t see Internal Speakers as an option in the Output window, contact Apple Support. If the volume slider is set low, move the slider to the right and test again. If the Mute checkbox is selected, deselect it and test again. If you still don’t hear any sound, contact Apple Support.https://support.apple.com/en-us/...Check the line-out port on your MacIf the Output pane lists Digital Out instead of Internal Speakers, check the line-out port on your Mac.First, disconnect any external audio devices from your Mac. Also remove any cables from the USB, FireWire, or 3.5 mm audio ports. Then check to see if the line-out port is lit by a red light. If it is, your Mac might need service.

My Seagate external hard disk makes a beeping sound whenever I connect it to my laptop. What's the problem?

First of all you should do SMART TEST for your Seagate Hard Disk.Download for your OS from the link belowSeaTools | SeagateInstall and run the software and then run SMART test for your HDD.It will detect most of the problems for your HardDisk.Second the beeping problem you are referring to happens when your Hard Disk lifecycle is about to end. Here is the graph for the lifecycle of the Hard Disks:-It seems that hard drives have three distinct failure “phasesn the first phase, which lasts 1.5 years, hard drives have an annual failure rate of 5.1%. For the next 1.5 years, the annual failure rate drops to 1.4%. After three years, the failure rate explodes to 11.8% per year. In short, this means that around 92% of drives survive the first 18 months, and almost all of those (90%) then go on to reach three years.Graph source :- EXTREME TECH.

How can I convert my smartphone into an instant mic/speaker combination?

I am assuming you want to convert your phone as a MIC which is connected to external speaker via Wire or Bluetooth.Because if you use same phone as a MIC and speaker i.e get real-time audio output from phone speaker of what you are speaking through the MIC. Audio output won’t make sense for long as noise would amplify in a feedback loop. Mobile phones mic are more sensitive to nearby audio, so if audio source is near the MIC (as in case where MIC and speaker are of same phone), there would be too much noise. To convert your smartphone into a MIC i.e use your phone as a MIC and its connected to earphone or some external speaker via wire or Bluetooth. There is an App on Play Store Phone Mic - Use Phone as Mic for Loudspeakers - Apps on Google Play, You can convert your phone into MIC using this app.In app settings, there is also option to record the audio in real-time in mp3 format. There is Equalizer functionality too by which you can modify some frequency components of your speech in real-time i.e you can make your voice shrill or heavy. Pretty cool right!!There is still a drawback, the audio output lags about 1 second. Audio output would follow your speech after 1 second. This is due to the software limitation as audio is sampled at 44.1KHz. This much audio buffer is handled for recording and playing simultaneously. So this much delay is tolerable. Well you can try the app and see for yourself.Phone Mic - Use Phone as Mic for Loudspeakers - Apps on Google Play

What is the easiest way to connect external speakers to Samsung 46'' LN46E550F6F?

I want to add a little oomph to my new TV (http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/LN46E550F6FXZC-techspecs).

However, I am very illiterate when it comes to cables, inputs/outputs, etc. Is there an easy way to hook up the speakers to the TV? I see it has a USB port on the TV... will that work? Is there something I can just have 1 cable?

I don't see any audio output methods listed on the link I posted... is there no way to add additional speakers?

Thanks,

Eli

Will a strong magnet destroy my speaker(ear part) on my flip phone?

I think that the chances that the damage was caused by the magnet is very Very small. That was not the cause of the failure.

The speaker works by creating a changing electrical current in a coil around a magnet. The variations of the magnetic field this generates cause the coil to move back and forth relative to the magnet.

When there is no sound being produced, the coil effectively does nothing, and has no magnetic field associated with it, and so an external magnet would have no effect on the coil, which is attached to the speaker cone, and which together are the only moveably part of the speaker. So your external magnet would not be able to damage this part when it was not producing sound.

If a very strong magnet were very close to the coil when sound was being produced, the asymmetric force of the magnet could, conceivably, displace the coil, but that would be very unlikely, unless the magnet was very strong indeed - not something you are likely to carry in your pocket: maybe an MRI machine.

An external magnet WOULD exert force on the magnet in the speaker, but these magnets are very firmly secured, and so it is extremely unlikely that your magnet would cause it to break off or move it in any way.

Any impact on the phone could much more easily distort the speaker's enclosure, and due to the very close tolerance of the position of the coil relative to the speaker's magnet, even the slightest distortion would have a significant effect on the speaker's performance.
